It's more fun for everyone if you actually know how to play the game. I know it's tough on the attention span, but it's worth it. Unless you all just don't like the game to even spend a few hours on it in which case maybe don't even bother making content for it lol
Don’t listen to people, it’s way more fun to watch when everyone has no idea what they’re doing. It’s not like I watch your video to see professional, competitive Mario strikers gameplay; I just want to watch a bunch of friends having fun. Cheers!
Wow even these three comments are varied lol. I was gonna say that there looks like there's a lot of unique stuff in this game and it'd be fun to see you guys get better and play it properly. It's okay to skim over the rules of it's that long so long as you know enough to get better. Did enjoy the video though and would actually like to see more (but not over Switch sports)
Yeah how you do meter is when the electric orb floats down onto the battle field if you grab the electric orb and charge you shot it will activate super
PLEASE play more of this game, but DO THE TUTORIALS FIRST. This game is hella fun and chaotic if everyone knows what they're doing and the scoring goes crazy.
I feel like every person I've seen play this game just doesn't understand how to super strike despite there WHOLE TEAM GLOWING everytime they get the orb 😂
@@emeraldtriforce2429 it got some buffs and nerfs. You now get a slo-mo when the meter pops up, the timing is easier than the other games and you get i-frames after the second button press. But you only get a hyperstrike if you grab the orb, your hyperstrike disappears if you get hit during the slo-mo and it has a timer of 20 seconds so you can camp it out.
I would love to see more but PLAY THE DAMN TUTORIAL FOR GOD SAKE. It’s the orb that gives you the hyper strike. Collect it and you start glowing then you can do it
They’re a group of 4, I doubt they’re gonna take 4 hours out of their day to each play a tutorial separately. All youre doing is making them want to play less mate with all the hate
Orb=Hypestrike. charge ball and release at the right time to hit a charged shot. ( NOte: the tech stat for each character is different making it easier or harder to hit a charged shot)
Play more of it but PLEASE do the tutorials so you can actually do the crazy stuff that makes this series so great. It was fun anyways but also really painful at times!
Since you guys said you don't know what the stats do I figured I'd do a quick breakdown of what they do based on my experience. Strength is actually pretty misleading as isn't really how hard they shoot the ball. Strength affects a character's ability to both steal the ball and not have the ball be stolen. In other words if a low strength character tries to tackle a high strength character (without the tackle being charged) the high strength character will just be shoved a little bit but wont' actually be knocked down. And high strength characters can just knock down anybody basically. Speed is just how fast a character moves, shooting and passing just make a character at those things and technique affects perfect shot timings and how well they dribble the ball and aim their sots.
Sucks that this video didn’t do so great because I would love to watch more Strikers after you guys have done the tutorial. Please come back to this game!!!
"Sweet, we got lightning" is the best part of this video. Somehow no one bothers to question what that does for the entire video even though it's obviously the thing you need to hyperstrike. Peak comedy. Honestly though, the game looks more fun without em.
Funny but so painful to watch 😭😭 I wanna see you guys play again but with a little bit of knowledge of the game. Also right before Luigi doing a hyper strike at 13:04 there was an edit goof of it being zoomed in for a decent while
I’m all for going blind for the first match or so but I wish you guys would at least have learned the main mechanic of the game after realizing it existed makes it kinda hard to watch
I deliberately watch the underdogs for new content first because I know once I know the mechanics, watching them will be painful. Happy to say that I watched this video without getting mad at all.
I was going to say lol. Not even learning how to do a hyper strike is so low effort. It's like they just wanted to cash in on the new game but the hype isn't even really there lol
Comment section needs to remember they’re four friends playing a party game, as long as they have fun and we can find entertainment it’s fine if they don’t use every mechanic.
Nah, I'm glad they never touched this game again lesson. Taught the complaining kids a lesson, since apparently most viewers are school children, yet their parents don't teach them how to be grateful at all.
Even though seeing their reactions to the hyper strikes would be great, I'm actually enjoying the absolute chaos of them not knowing how anything works. Also love the Ibra shoutout haha
Great video but maybe another tipp I didnt see spammed in the comments like the glowing=Supershot : You can aim your shot (left control stick) bc I saw u guys hit the goalie many times so yeah you can aim it
Was hoping for another of those super shots. Still entertaining as hell tho, Peter with the triple pass and shooting for the goal was coming in clutch.
I really hope you guys play Strikers at least semi regularly. Watching you guys play it has been what is had been most excited for since it was announced second only to playing it myself.
Just a friendly reminder to everyone out there. When your learning or doing something new make sure to ask the questions “what?” And “why?” And explore those questions. Like, “why is this ball of energy on the field?” And “What does it do?”That way you don’t play Mario strikers (and other video games) without key elements I lost more than I gained watching this video
Big fan of this content. The chaos of the game really brings out the screaming gamer in the boys. Definitely would be better if you knew how the game worked xD
Guys I'm sorry but the full tutorial takes over an hour we skimmed it but missed one mechanic please be gentle comments section
It's more fun for everyone if you actually know how to play the game. I know it's tough on the attention span, but it's worth it.

Aka "please don't peg us comment section for making the mistake to forget a single mechanic that doesn't even matter to actually play the video game"
Wow even these three comments are varied lol. I was gonna say that there looks like there's a lot of unique stuff in this game and it'd be fun to see you guys get better and play it properly. Yeah how you do meter is when the electric orb floats down onto the battle field if you grab the electric orb and charge you shot it will activate super
glad we had that fat zoom in to see what the goalie was doing
I love only seeing a quarter of the screen for a whole minute
I though my phone was buggin 😂
Yeah that was so strange
@@smoker4188 same
When was this?
Watching them play without half of the mechanics is painful lmao
Feel the same about mk8 or, the worst one, any farming game like slime rancher or stardew valley
Well at least they know for once 🤷♂️
Bro I know
Still loved the vid, these guys are my favorite RUclipsrs!
I want to see the training arc of them actually learning this game.
PLEASE play more of this game, but DO THE TUTORIALS FIRST. This game is hella fun and chaotic if everyone knows what they're doing and the scoring goes crazy.
Even if they only learn the hyper strike it'll be so much better
It just hurts when they barely even charge up their shots and tackles, even though I understand why...
yes do this
I genuinely can’t tell if they are aware of their entire teams glowing or not whenever that happens
Probably not, they skipped the tutorial.
It’s the Underdogs. They are really shitty at noticing obvious stuff from games they haven’t played
They said they thought it was armor at some point. Guess they didn’t notice the fact they got hit constantly with it
The amount of times someone says “that’s a foul” then throws a literal bomb
"There must be a some kind of meter". I don't know, probably the lightning ball that made your whole team glow.
If Peter wants to do the "Victory dances in real life" he should look out for DK's. It goes hella hard.
That's a free kick- Jackson in a game where they have been constantly murdering each other in for the past 20 minutes
you don't need to comment 9 times on a single video
Nothing is more painful than watching people play a game without even knowing how shit works lmao
It’s called playing a game for the first time mate
Id like to see more if you guys actually learn how to play
I’d like to see more if they somehow got worse lol
I'd like to see the underdogs play Mario strikers but actually Knowing what they're doing LMAO 🤣🤣
That'd be a good title
I feel like every person I've seen play this game just doesn't understand how to super strike despite there WHOLE TEAM GLOWING everytime they get the orb 😂
I've only played the original can you not just spam it anymore
@@emeraldtriforce2429 You need the Strike Orb item for it now, it's a limited chance-time resource.
@@Parapsyche does it still count at 2 goals
@@emeraldtriforce2429 Yes, it's worth two.

Can't agree more with this statement
They’re a group of 4, I doubt they’re gonna take 4 hours out of their day to each play a tutorial separately. All youre doing is making them want to play less mate with all the hate
I would unironically watch the Fuck out of a Mario striker moves in real life video
Can’t believe Poppt didn’t play Mario for the Ronaldo special move!
cuz they dont know how to do the special moves (also mario is cring)
Orb=Hypestrike. charge ball and release at the right time to hit a charged shot. ( NOte: the tech stat for each character is different making it easier or harder to hit a charged shot)
They filmed this when the game came out, probably they all know about it now xD
@@darioschottlender That would make a lot of sense.
I wanna watch them do the tutorial and compare how they play after.
Really great video! Pls do more but with YALL actually reading the rules please lol
i would love to see more of this. it was so funny. and it seems you guys had a blast playing it
Play more of it but PLEASE do the tutorials so you can actually do the crazy stuff that makes this series so great. It was fun anyways but also really painful at times!
Cool watching someone actually enjoying this game. It's really fun with friends and a great time. Would love more of this.
3 months later and we still haven’t gotten Mario strikers moves in real life
stop

The hardest part of this game is not confusing Toad's little mushroom head for the ball.
I do want to see more Mario strikers, just next time they know what they’re doing.
Anyone else route for jackson and jordan in doubles regardless of the game ?
It’s always Jackson first no matter what, then Jordan, then whoever’s been less annoying in the video between the other 2 lol
Yes ALWAYS
"Sweet, we got lightning" is the best part of this video. Somehow no one bothers to question what that does for the entire video even though it's obviously the thing you need to hyperstrike. Peak comedy.

As someone who's never played, I never would've guessed that it did that
Get the orb, fully charge A until the meter pops up, click within the blue for a higher chance to pull off a perfect Hyper strike.
"Where's the ball!?" - poppt1 for half of the video
Funny but so painful to watch 😭😭
I wanna see you guys play again but with a little bit of knowledge of the game. Also right before Luigi doing a hyper strike at 13:04 there was an edit goof of it being zoomed in for a decent while
You get the special kick by charging when you are glowing.
More Mario Strikers PLEASE
13:29 ITS SCOTT STERLINGGGGG
WHATT TWO CONSECUTIVE UPLOADS, although from different chanels, BUT WHAT AND POPPT AND LITTLE Z UPLOADED AS WELL, we getting blessed
After literally getting this game yesterday and learning the mechanics this is... painful to watch
I’d like to see peter try donkey kings victory screen irl
I’m all for going blind for the first match or so but I wish you guys would at least have learned the main mechanic of the game after realizing it existed makes it kinda hard to watch
It took three seconds for me to click and groan when I realized they probably won’t be good
I deliberately watch the underdogs for new content first because I know once I know the mechanics, watching them will be painful.
Happy to say that I watched this video without getting mad at all.
YOU HAVE TO PLAY THE WII VERSION, PLEEEASE
I'll tell you guys a secret. It's much better content if you know what you're doing. Everyone likes to see the effort put in.
I was going to say lol. Not even learning how to do a hyper strike is so low effort. It's like they just wanted to cash in on the new game but the hype isn't even really there lol
I don’t think you watch the Underdogs for the same reasons that the rest of us do if that’s your interpretation of the Mario sports vids.
@shepardice3775 shut up
I want more of this game but once you figure out how it works lol
13:32 ladies and gentlemennnn SCOTT STERLINGGGG
This game is actually super fun. Just do the tutorial 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Nah, I'm glad they never touched this game again lesson. Taught the complaining kids a lesson, since apparently most viewers are school children, yet their parents don't teach them how to be grateful at all.
"How do you lob pass?"
"Why."
"Yeah, I ask myself the same question every day."
I can’t tell what’s stupider, between the Mario crew ragdolling, or the fact that nobody has a single clue how to hyper strike.
Hum I feel like something went wrong in the editing starting at 13:04. Looks like someone forgot to reset a transform or something
Everyone would want more as long as play the game (and edit it properly)
please play this again and learn the game it would be epic af
Even though seeing their reactions to the hyper strikes would be great, I'm actually enjoying the absolute chaos of them not knowing how anything works. Also love the Ibra shoutout haha
1:37 “Can we go team Waifu? Yeah you go Waluigi.” Is there something that you would like to tell us, Peter?
Some of zacks.. best characters!
MORE but after a tutorial has been played lol
MORE!! WE WANT MORE!!
The goalie had a certified Scott Sterling moment
Great video but maybe another tipp I didnt see spammed in the comments like the glowing=Supershot : You can aim your shot (left control stick) bc I saw u guys hit the goalie many times so yeah you can aim it
Why does the entire minute after 13:03 look like it’s 1/4 of the screen we’re supposed to see?
Next up: Underdogs play Inazuma Eleven Strikers for the Wii.
Was hoping for another of those super shots. Still entertaining as hell tho, Peter with the triple pass and shooting for the goal was coming in clutch.
*spends half the game glowing*
"How do we get the special chaaaarge?"
I hate seeing every shot aimed DIRECTLY at the goalie, they really don’t knohow to aim yet 😂
Some of the best content I’ve seen in a while.
Definitely would love more Mario Strikers content
I don’t think their switch was even ready for that super strike.
It literally messed up the entire format of the video.
Who is gonna tell them they can aim the ball?
I really hope you guys play Strikers at least semi regularly. Watching you guys play it has been what is had been most excited for since it was announced second only to playing it myself.
i love the reaction to the introduction sequence, reminds me of the mario golf video
Jordan and Jackson in one team, AND they got Toad on it? Count me in

Lol only 5 minutes in and they've already discovered how bad of a goalie boom boom is.
I don’t think I need to reiterate what this whole comment section is, this video was pain sometimes
When they learn about the charged/partner tackles, they're going to go crazy XD
"Can we go team waifu? Yeah go waluigi." Peter what you tryna say
Watching them play the tutorial would be so much more mess painful that watching this
13:18 why is the screen like that
Man poor toad he’s gettin bashed left and right 😂
Probably isn't going to happen, but I'd like to see them play Mario Sports Mix. It was a large part of my childhood gaming experience.
The channel with the single longest video backlog every
i love how every 5 seconds you hear someone asking what in the world is happening
They really need to play strikers charged as it's a classic of the Mario sports spin offs
anyone else keep accidentally thinking toad was the ball?
The milkman returns
Would love to see more of this game!
Why was it so zoomed in for the animation??
Big fan of this content. The chaos of the game really brings out the screaming gamer in the boys. Definitely would be better if you knew how the game worked xD
Peter's totally played this before...
Peter and Zack’s goalie was actually Scott Sterling.
I enjoy the brutality of the "tackles" in this
For a long while, which i am not to happy to admit, i was staring at toad thinking it was the football
I'm not one to complain, but context clues. USE THEM
13:28 IT'S SCOTT STERLING!!!!!!
It was super fun! Just a headsup yalls are going to pop off when you see DK's scoring animation
I would love more Mario Strikers but please actually do hyperstrikes lol
Yeah learn the strats guys, it gets Crazy fun!
I want to see more Mario strikers after you’ve done the tutorial. You’re missing half the fun and mechanics of the game.
