Amazing picture, lowe it. Maybe its me, but looks a bit greenish. Btw, have heard about Laowa launchin anamorphic lenses? nanomorph. I would love to see what you can do with anamorphics 🤞
Beautiful eye you´ve got my friend, congrats.
Terry is the man. great stuff
I have a Rawlite brand IR/Anti moire ilter in my URSA 12K. I also have a separate Hoya IR Cut filter. I did a test where I was adding a Hoya filter to the URSA 12K with Rawlite installed and I saw no difference, meaning, once you have a IR cut inside the camera another IR cut is not adding anything whatsoever, so rawlite is doing an amazing job at filtering IR pollution.
Additionally, 'Moment' brand also makes good pro mist filters, I have a 10% which is barely there without taking too much of the sharpness.
Always a great content from you, Sir.
I stop using fixed IR cut filter because it can cut too much and turn the image green when IR is no so strong. The rave now is Full Spectrum ND were it preserve the colour neutrality.
Can you point me in the direction of where to find this? Currently I use Hoya Pro ND filters.
Great video Matteo, one question what circular IRND do you use. I looked on the NiSi UK web site and could not find one
OMG I was saving up to get a used Voigtlander but I guess I gotta invest in NDs. I always suspected issues with colour when using my cheap NDs now I know that it true!
After years of using a Hoya VND, I tried an Athabasca VND and the colours were so different. I didn't know how muddy the Hoya was until the Athabasca.
just subbed! I use an old trusty GH4 with Samyang 35mm f0.95 with black mist 1/4 and variable nd filter, kinda fun but also turning my living room into a mini studio/movie-webcam set with fake cement walls and earthy tones on the walls instead of white texture paint!
Will you go full spectrum nds or stay with IRND
What's the behind the scenes' cam/lens?
Footage looks great!
The halation is blue?
Hey, as always ggreat video, i'm just wondering is the Hollyland latency good enough for your AC ? Usually people say it isnt but it looks to be working well
Thanks! Oh yes! Used it many times and never had an issue!
@@matteobertoli Thanks a lot ! And definitly gonna get some of those Blackmist filters
Which model are you referring to?
did you need an ir cut as well?
Great, ¿wich IR cut filters u recommend?
have you considered gettting a RAWLITE OLPF for your Pocket 6k?
Nope
how come?
so you stacked NiSi HUC IR ND with True Color VND? I didn't know that it's ok to stack VND and hard stop ND together..
thanks for one more great video Matteo! i have the IRND's from Nisi, but mine have a magenta tint on them, do you experience the same? Cheers!
With the IRND I have zero shift. They are perfect
amazing work. the question, how did you stack the iR, nd and the mist filter? would love to buy the set.
Thanks! You just screw them on top of each other
@@matteobertoli Ciao Matteo, in what order do you recommend to stack them?
So is the True Color VND also an IR cut filter? Or are they 2 different filters?
2 separate filters
Do i need an IR cut filter when not using an ND? I heard Blackmagic's have an ir cut coating but it isn't the best
No they don’t it. So yes you need one
@@matteobertoli sweet thanks. Love your content by the way. I love that you use the 6k and ursa over all the more expensive alternatives. Definitely made me realize that I’ll be sticking to blackmagic
Sounds like Lisbon, right?
Hey Matteo, Just a quick one on your 19mm. Do you know if it's a the V1 or V2/Older serial number? I'm looking at finishing my Leica set with a 19mm but the chrom-aboration seems super bad on the V1 over the V2?
It’s not that bad. Only in certain high contrast situations, but if you stop down to 3.5 it’s gone. Flares are much nicer on V1 imo. Mine is 31xx serial
Every time I've tried a mist filter in the sun it just washes out the entire image and destroys the footage if you catch the sun in the shot. It looks like you were using this one a lot in the sun so I'm wondering if this one doesn't wash out as much when the sun is in the frame?
No never had that issue
Did you stack 3 filters? Ir cut, variable and the mist?
Yes
@@matteobertoli You weren't worried about ghosting?
Ciao, may i ask how many stops is your IR nisi filter. I see they have from 3 stops up to 15 stops. Thanks in advance
3-6-10 ;)
@@matteobertoli Thank for yor prompt reply. Sorry i have to ask again, newbie here. Those stops are only for the IR range or it is for natural light also? Means that if you have an IR of 3 stops and an ND for other 3, means you have a 6 stops filter total for Naural light or not. Thanks again!
Matteo, now I have a 12K. But a question is, on which medium to record? I ordered a external SSD and I try to mount it on top… But I guess thats not ideal. On what you are recording? CFast Cards are very expensive and they are too slow for 12K or 8K 120.
Angelbird cfast work great with 8K 120p :)
@@matteobertoli But they are sooo expensive compared to a Sandisk or Samsung SSD. Which do you use?
@@Jaxplode well, you spent 6K for a camera. What’s another $700 for 2 512gb cards?
@@matteobertoli You are right! Maybe in future can you make short video about how you organize your folders cutting and saving your projects?
@@matteobertoli Do you use Dual Record with your CF Cards?
Killer, thanks for all you do.
What ISO do you run your URSA when shooting EXT day? In bright situations?
Also, how do you have your Hollyland attached like that? I've been trying to figure out a way to attach it like that on my URSA.
i own several nd filters but somehow i hate to use them the color cast is so annoying, i used NISI, HAIDA, FREEWELL, PMK-Var. idk. i dont like them.
Never had issues with nisi irnd. Also it’s not really a choice, you have to use them
