I learned of both these wonderful musicians through WXPN and World Cafe in the late 90s, early 2000s. Thanks for amplifying simply one of the best bands and two of the most genuine souls around!
I was at the palladium in November and Glasgow, no midnight in Harlem, very disappointed, but yes they've such a catalogue of songs, but I do think most people want to hear MIH. such is the beauty of the song. George Fraser Edinburgh. 🏴
I have exactly the same comment! Trouble is they do so much good stuff that they can't do it all on tour. I thought they were faultless. My late sister was due to go last night as well. She would have loved it. My wife was blown away by the performance. That gave me so much pleasure - another marital bond. I will never forget it. She said I had a grin on my face all night! I have waited so long to see them in the UK. I have nothing but admiration for the musicianship of all of the band. Derek has no peers on slide guitar. Susan has such a great voice full of blues guts - and boy can she can play guitar. And the other band members - well thank you guys! Stick together you have a good thing going! Can't wait until next time.
@@stephenjones7895 Really pleased you both enjoyed the evening, they truly are a very tight altogether band, I wonder how much an influence Dickie Betts had on Derek. I took a mate who had never heard the band before and he loved every minute, didn't stop talking about the concert all the way home.
I was at the Manchester gig on Wednesday too....I travelled from Cornwall to see them for the first time... I've been to hundreds of concerts and I have to say it was the best I've seen...the skill and musicianship in this band is just outstanding....there was a few songs they sadly didn't play but I was totally blown away by the whole evening....and I was pretty close to front.....hope they come back to the UK soon....glad you had a good night too
@@greggcashmore805 blimey that's a long journey. We only had to get back to Birmingham! To be honest after the performance they put on I would consider going to USA to see them. I wonder how many people actually saw/heard them for the first time in Manchester?
@@greggcashmore805 That is some journey one we know well my wife Chris is a Cornish Lass from Falmouth, hopefully you were staying over in Manchester, it took us nearly two hours to get back to Chester as the M56 was closed from J5 to J8. Still worth the hassle for such a fabulous evening.
I have these four albums. The project is superb. The band are superb.
The idea of them putting out episodic mini LPs is so awesome. Best band in the world. We all miss Kofi.
Kofi will Always be in our hearts. What a blessing it is to be able to share life right here right with this beautiful band.
They have so much class.
Read Layla and Manjun poems and then immerse yourself in I Am The Moon. Brilliant. They aren’t getting the recognition they deserve for this project.
Love the 2 of them ❤

Our absolute pleasure! :)
Ditto!
The Greatest Band in the Land®️
Seeing them in a month- can't wait!
I Am The Moon is an absolute magnificent achievement and a brilliant listen, especially the vinyl pressing!
Looking forward to seeing the fruition....this summer. 😀
Love, jeff

I feel your pain. Artist's can grow to hate songs because they are so successful.
They can never be taken off repeat 😭😭😭
Thank you 💛from🇨🇦
Thanks for watching!
I think your Both Wonderful, love you guys😊
Watched this band last night in Manchester, totally brilliant, only bad thing they didn't do Midnight in Harlem.

The term for when crops are not planted in a field is called "fallow". In the midwest, fields go "fallow" once in three years. Corn, beans, fallow.
