The "Yes" in Nvidia control panel only indicates that Resizable bar is enabled in the BIOS. It still has to be enabled per-game in Nvidia profile inspector.
The game runs great until I turn on my lights and then fps gets cut by about 20. I figured out the problem, it’s the accessory lights on the bull bar and light bar. But what I don’t understand is how the accessory lights are affecting my fps when I’m in the cab view where they can’t be seen
Here are other ways to fix this. Vertical Synch needs to be turned off this will put strain on your card, Anti Aliasing needs to be set to TAA or disabled, Mirrors need to be set to low, and SSAO needs to be turned off if you don't do this you will lag out.
is this graphic adjustment on Nvidia necessary because you have a lower performance machine or a better one ? I assume a better one (doubt because of vertical settings)
Man this is so unacceptable. . . this is really like several steps backwards if you are blaming things like ProMods and custom trailers and to say beefy hardware causes stuttering, if I heard that correctly. . . Did I also read you shouldn't have a ton of company trucks, trailers (4/7) too. . . it kinda seems as if complete disappointment is on the horizon. NO performance improvements, check out the 3060ti in the video, most likely their test rig where the stuttering occurs. This can also mean NO multi core utilization too. Don't seem like much as improved other than new DLC and map reworks.
@@rhoenerbasaltkopf 1.51 is very smooth for me as well, in both ATS and ETS2, except when taking owned-trailer jobs on ProMods Europe. Quite frustrating that this issue keeps re-emerging from time to time.

They are possibly hanging on to this ancient game core as to not leave a lot of gamers on low end laptops or PCs behind along with thousands of possibly becoming incompatible if structure is different if that makes any sense being prism3d is different than others. I agree though, graphics could've been changed several years ago, poor performance too but here we are again with more talk of future DLC, I'll be surprised if we see significant improvements to performance and anti aliasing. . . Snowymoon TAA plugin still looks way better than this teaser video.

I have a I7 3770K with 32GB RAM and a GTX 1080 TI 12 GB, in a new tripple A game like Hogwarts Legacy i can get up to 200Fps on Ultra settings, then ETS 2 just 60 fps and manny drops to round 45.... The usage of my GPU is only 45% an my CPU on 25%, while in Hogwarts they are on 80 and 54 percent. Oke i am using internals from 10 years old, but if i see what the newst specs are they are not a giant leap forewards, so in other words no need to opgrade my system. Looks like ETS2 is not so good optimized. If your CPU and GPU are not even on half power and you get low fps then there is something not right in the game i think.
3080 + a fast 8-core cpu 16 gig fast ram here. We the users can not fix it! Stuttering has always been a permanent feature of ets2. Moving from dx9-dx10-dx11 did not fix it. 32bit to 64bit didn't either. Dozens and dozens of nvidia driver releases could not do it. Me buying faster and faster iron did not help. All of us who have used ets2 for more that 10 years know what is the main problem (prism3d) . BUT, I still love ets2, the king of driving games ❤

What about using mods such as cars and buses? I have a problem with using bus mods that are up to date with the correct version of the game, while I'm driving the bus the game freezes and lags since I am using Steam on Linux to run the game
Yes it is a load of bullshit when currently there are a lot of gamers with graphics cards lower in specs than the 3060ti in the video with 20+ drivers. . . to go on an blame ProMods and ownable trailers(custom trailers) too instead of the games' ancient software and LACK of improvements. This is very bad news!

if you enjoy screen tearing, jerkiness or stuttering turn off vertical sync :)
1.5 does have FPS limiter so just disable vsync and manually set the FPS

Looks like it's still an issue in 1.51 with ProMods 2.71.
I must say it is way better for me in 1.51 than 1.50, quite smooth driving👍🏻
