Have you seen the anime named Kill la kill. That is what came to my mind. It is about a really simple everyday "thing/tool" then at the end of the story it turned into a cosmic horror. xD
From what I've seen of the Darkflame Cleft, my initial thoughts are similar to my initial thoughts on Plunderstorm: I don't think I'll like it, but I'm glad it exists because it means the devs are trying new and interesting things.
What's new and interesting about an escort and an unskippable rp section in a m+ dungeon? Those parts are fine for normal but hopefully they rework or remove them for m+.
If the Goblins are involved I hope Gallywix gets some time to shine as a proper villain. I never really bought him as a Horde racial leader since the story never really convinced me that he would act in the interests of the Horde or that the Horde would believe he was acting in their interests. But he's still a fun character and I think ditching the pretext of being loyal to anything other than his personal wealth is only going to make him a more enjoyable character.
Grimtusk turned up this week. Finally. For those looking, its a "daily" quest, so doesnt show on the map as a world quest. Also - took some studying, but you fish up the net (quest item) from ice holes. And there's a bug when you have the quest that rather than loot on right click, it just keeps recasting. So you need to use the interact button.
PRAYING the next class put in wow is FINALLY a Tinkerer. that Doc Oc back piece makes my goblin heart cry and ache. i can have hope. PLEASE BLIZZARD IM FUCKING BEGGING YOU! ENGINEERING NEEDS TO BE MORE THAN A PROFESSION, ITS LITTERALLY A WAY OF LIFE FOR TWO WHOLE RACES IN THE GAME. the CLOSEST fantasy to that is playing a goblin shaman with little drill totems and lightning
Well, unfortunately Engineering is a Profession choice... And technically the Gnomes were also the closest thing we've gotten to Engineers, especially since the Mechagnome are there. I personally would love to see a Tinker type class whose specs are based on Engineering and Alchemy.

Considering that a number WoW players get mad when a dungeon asks them to do more than stand-in-place and spam their rotation macros, Darkflame Cleft is definitely going to be hated. Much like how Azure Archives is not extra hated ever since the kill walls that eliminated the short-cuts, many of which required players to literally leap to their deaths. Damn, WoW players can be so lazy.
Speaking of Warband,, idk if you guys saw the wow community post. But there, they asked us for our 5 irl ppl in warband. Yes... "5", not 4. Hoping dis is a sign for 5 or more Slots. Which would be perfect for the "upcoming" Warband Dungeons, where we replace the Follower npc's with our own Alts. 😎
I think the Giant Ceiling Crystal is actually the tip of Sargeras' sword. It's made of an exotic material and imbued with magic. Who knows what happens when you stab it into a planet at Mach 22 and subject the tip of it to extreme heat and pressure and grinding. It might turn into a more crystalline substance. I don't care if there are quests that contradict that or something, I know I am right and you can't convince me otherwise!
Really love the darkness mine cart bit. It's the same concept from Hearthstones kobolds and catacombs, which was an awesome boss encounter with some great voice acting.

The dungeon looks cool, i guess the problem is the expectation of dungeons have to be farmeable and repeatable (speedrunnable), it is one of the weakness of the expectation of a mmorpg genre compared to what would be in another genre game as a cool gameplay set-piece. If i recall, the reason why vanila wow dungeons are so long is because they were designed to be ran once, not farmed. At the end it is more of a problem of how players "consume content" than players "experiencing a game".
It truly does, i hope to make an interesting looking set out of it combining them with the summer mogs we are getting. Trying to get closer to the look of the fem draenei in the concept art.
The enchants just take your stat away, doesn't matter where it comes from... ring, legs, talent... it all adds up, and then the ring takes it away to trade for more of another. People claiming it only takes it away from the ring makes no sense. If you have a haste-mastery ring, and enchant it with a cursed mastery, it'll still take away crit from your total.

17:33 I was both excited and sad. All I want for the Dragon-riding is an option to have a button to press for Cruise mode (even if at slightly slower speed). Sadly, as I've got older, I'm developing joint-ache in my mouse finger. Having to keep the mouse button pressed to keep flying means I often have to switch to much slower normal flying in order to play for more than 30 minutes or so. (Before you youngsters scoff, remember that we all grow older & our bodies age, even if it seems a very long time off...)
That dungeon might have been an ok delv, although it still surely would have received plenty of hate. But as a dungeon Blizzard has once again given the player base an uncapped amount of hate to sling at will.
Only seen positive feedback for the dungeons so far myself. The darkness fight is genius, and so different I am having a blast with season 4 so far. And I thought I would hate it. I'm actually doing some m+ for once
If DF alpha launched on July with it's release on November, that was a 4-ish months of "development" (I know development didn't begin with the first alpha build, I'm just trying to make a point here). With TWW alpha beginning on April, you would have the same timeframe, 4-ish months of "development" if it releases on August 19th.
Actually I think TWW will launch on August 19th. With patch 10.2.7 lasting the usual 8-10 weeks and the pre-patch lasting the usual 4-5 weeks, the 19th of august actually make for a feasible launch day. After all it is a Monday on Americas, and if it's scheduled to end during the later ours of that day, it will make it about the midnight UTC the global launches have been going for over the past few expansion packs. Not to mention that the announcement of Pandamix kinda implies the event will end when TWW launches. Its specifically says that once the event ends, your character will be able to go straight to TWW content. Sure it would be better for those characters to be able to play the pre-patch event, but the way it's phrased on the site, does suggest the event will end and TWW will begin immediately.
Kinda regret my War Within purchase. I'm just not especially hyped for any of it. I had a similar feeling with Shadowlands, so it'll be interesting to see if that gut feeling is right. That said, if the new BG is decent and the older ones get some TLC, that could be the winning formula right there. A man can hope.
The WoW Roadmap has War Within as BEFORE Autumn. Autumn is Sept 20th. I am fairly certain Prepatch is in July. I think xpac will be Aug 27. to maybe early Sept.
