      Can you suggest a shoes for standing for a long time and occasional walking (i am a medical student). I was confused between asics novablast 3 and new balance 1080 v12. Very detailed video review btw.

    • @EasyLifeES
      @EasyLifeES  Год назад +1

      @@tonystark3560 Sure,
      1. Asics Novablast 3 are the best for the money in cushioning that I found it so far. They have the softest cushioning without being a dedicated marathon sneaker, this one is NOT having carbon plates, but they are great and more robust than those made for "Pro running"/marathons shoes...those have way thinner uppers and soles and won't last with the long shifts that you have to do!
      2. New Balance More V3 (not reflective as much = less flashy)/V4 (they have much more reflective materials) also are very good, but a touch more bulkier than the Novablast 3.
      I hope this helps you somehow!

      @@EasyLifeES Thank you. I tried Novablast 3 and it felt very unstable on my feet. I would really love to try the new balance more v4 or the 1080v12. I absolutely love the cobalt blue colour you used in this video, I haven't seen this colour in anyone else's review and i think its the best. But sadly, i live in India and New Balance offical site is not available here for delivery. I tried amazon and many other online shopping brands and none of them have this colourway. I really don't know what to do. I had a crush on this shoe from the day i watched this video.

    • @EasyLifeES
      @EasyLifeES  Год назад

      First of all, thank you!
      Now, my top of those sneakers in no particular order (the only downside remains that incomplete rubber outsole in all of them):
      - NB 1080v12 still one of my favorites
      - Asics Superblast also very good
      - NB More V4 (that I actually own right now) ... little bit chunky silhouette ... But, I like them.
      Is only top 3 because these ones I liked most (so far).
      Honorable mentions:
      - For smaller budget are Adidas Duramo SL (NOT "Duramo Speed" though, those are a bit to pointy and affects the comfort in them, they forgot that "form follows function and NOT the other way around") the midsole is firmer than in other brands, but that is not always a bad thing. These ones are coming soon on the channel.
      - Adidas Boston 12 (dedicated marathon sneakers). I did like them but, as for regular running these ones don't look that are made to last enough for me... Just my opinion... those materials didn't convinced me 100%... too much thin "plastic derivatives" in them. Also coming soon this episode.
      - Again for smaller budgets Adidas Ultrabounce, firmer midsole but decent sneakers and NB Arishi V4 that could had been a winner in many situations but, that incomplete outsole is such push back for me. Arishi v4 episode will be released in the next few days (hopefully). Sill working on it!
      I hope this comment helps you somehow!

    Hey, just found your channel yesterday, really like the way you review these shoes in your own unique way. I always have problem with finding the right shoe coz of my wide feet and flat foot. I don't like the stability shoes as they feel uncomfortable to me so I'm always on hunt to find the perfect, neutral running shoe for me. I like slightly firmer cushioning like that on Asics Noosa tri 14.
    And I totally agree with you with regards to less rubber on outer sole. I'm a big heavy dude with 130kg weight and these modern running shoes always loose their outsole rubber within 6 months just from walking 7-8km daily. That's why I've buy the trail version of these shoes so they last longer.
    Anyway, really like the way you review shoes, keep up the good work.

      Hi Leo,
      I'm glad that you find my content useful. I'm trying to do it better with every new video released.
      About your weight... 130kg... many aren't aware how important is that factor when they are buying a new pair of sneakers.
      And you are right with the stability "thing" from my point of view. You like everyone else need stability no matter the activities you make and also you need cushioning under your feet otherwise you will end up with some plantar fasciitis or even worst (like Osteoarthritis or something similar).
      From what I know NB, has Fresh Foam models with more rigid midsole in this particular shoes:
      - 880v13 and v12
      - Vongo 5 and maybe few other models
      I actually recommend if you have a NB store nearby to go there and explain what you are looking for and try different pairs till you see something that fits your needs and buy them online at much more reasonable price if you can. I usually do it this way except maybe they have it on sale at that time.
      Cheers,

    I really like how the Hypoknit upper fits and love this particular colourway. But agree the cushioning for both running and walking are fairly average compared to what's available. Waiting for some more colourways with the Asics Novablast 3 and I'll stick to the NB More V4 for now as my everyday shoe.

    • @EasyLifeES
      @EasyLifeES  Год назад +1

      Yep, the upper I could call it "plush" in comparison with others that I tried so far.
      The internal midsole could had been a bit more generous... But...
      BTW the More V4's also are coming soon... I'm really curious
      to see how they are this year.
      I wanted to test some others like Novablast 3 or Superblast (also coming soon) before having MoreV4, to see what the competition is having agains them.
      Novablast 3 was a very nice discover for me!
      I can only hope that they will come with some new colours like you said.

      @@EasyLifeES Max stack cushion shoes are getting more common. The stack on the Novablast 3 (38mm) is actually higher than the More v4 (34mm).
      Next year, the Asics Nimbus 25 and Brooks Ghost Max are coming out, with the Nimbus in particular looking a lot like the NB More.
      I have wide feet (2E) and it's a shame Nike and Adidas don't make wider sizes as they offer some pretty nice discounts here in Australia during sales. €190 is too expensive for a 1080v12 and I'm curious to see how you feel about the €220 price tag of the Superblast.

    • @EasyLifeES
      @EasyLifeES  Год назад +1

      I'm agree with you about "max cushioning sneakers" starting to be more popular with every new year.
      I'm happy to hear that more models will come in the future... More competition, less pricey in theory.
      Asics Superblast video - is already recorded and in short if I can say something about them will be just... Overpriced!
      They are good sneakers, great materials, good comfort and cushioning. BUT, they are made for running "only" in my opinion and not so much for lifestyle sneaker.
      That limits the use for the public, so I personally don't see them popular as the Novablast 3 is (or MoreV3/4 from NB), which is -70€ less (and is has better cushioning!). In my opinion they went way too far with the pricing this time!
      About the width in Adidas/Nike others also, I've been saying this for years now in my videos: not all of us have the same kind of feet.
      Many people want Adidas models, but they are to narrow for them and end up being a uncomfortable sneaker. That will brings negative reviews all over the internet.
      They are stubborn and they don't do what they suppose to do... Bringing different widths for every type of feet like New Balance does.
      I'm a standard width, but is annoying when I try a pair of shoes and I found them just a bit too narrow, enough to create some stupid pressure points.
      That is how you quickly ruin a model/product. Is simply as that...

    The best comfort shoes that I have (purchased mb 2-3 years ago) were very cheap (~70$) in comparison to most other shoes - Adidas Questar Flow with Cloudfoam. They are very very comfortable but not too durable, the part of the upper above the toe lost the material from the inside (you can feel it but it's not visible looking at the shoe itself).

      In general I like to NOT leave my opinion about a product that I didn't physically test it, because sometimes you can have (like you say) a very nice surprise and find something really affordable with a decent quality.
      Most of the time all of us have different "needs" from a pair of sneakers. So is NO a perfect one, for all of us.
      Because we expect different things from them.
      Thanks from stepping by and share your own experience with that particular model.
      Someone will find it useful.

      With this sentence I am agree... Although I still have to check the 880v12... I only remember vaguely the 880v9 from the store...
      I did try it them among others till I got 1080v9 eventually. The 880v9's back then was more rigid shoe, the materials also were towards entry level, but I can see that shoe being used for short distances and with more speed.
      The cushioning not being enough for longer range if you are taller guy or heavier than 65kg/143lbs.

      Yeah this color it does look very well. Depending where you live in the world you might have luck to find it in outlet stores.
      Few days ago was on Zalando Prive for less than 100€ here in Spain. I've seen it also late and miss my size.
      But every few weeks, they are coming back in stock on that page and also at a better price than the retail one.
      Good luck!

      For me Nike & NB are most of the time true-to-size. That means Nike in size 8 US = NB in size 8 US (for ME).
      They are only few exceptions when "that"wasn't true but, mostly because of the width.
      In length were still equals.
      In you situation I will go 100% tts. I can't promise you anything because I only know my feet, but for example with Adidas will had been a bit more "complicated" than NB.
