Hello, good morning . Forgive if I ask you a question. I have the foot exactly 27,5 cm long, and the foot is normal width, a little thin , that with the asics I go with the 45 European, which is 28,5 cm. I am looking at all the places and each one says something different. With this sneaker the more v4, which number do I have to catch? The 44 which is equivalent to 28 cm, or the 44.5 which is equivalent to 28.5 cm to go well? If you can help me I would be very grateful because I’m eating my head. thank you very much. Sorry for my English
@@vacamoto83 Hi there, First of all, I wouldn't take too much in consideration the size in cms and the size that corresponds to "that" from the website of the brands, because those are 95% or more "OFF all the time" (at least for ME). I mean they don't really correspond. Second, again don't mind what other people are saying about their feet. Because in general all of us we are different. We have bigger or lower arch/instep and than is another thing... "the taste", some like to have them in bigger sizes that they need. Others they will prefer to squeeze them a bit thinking they will loose up in time ... Which in my opinion is a mistake if is not about something made from leather and even in that case, I wouldn't go size down hopping that they will expand in time. So NO real "clues" from what others are saying. In general I encourage people to: - try them in a store for 10 minutes or so (but I understand that is NOT all the time possible... that will be the best fit ever or at home obviously), - IF not possible, try going true to size in that brand, - IF you still not sure, try if you can to buy 2 pairs in different sizes and return the one that you don't need. One in your "tts" and the other bigger or smaller depending what others are saying in their comments. Now about the Asics and New Balance, in general for me they had been true to size both brands. So my tts is = Nike 41 = Adidas 41 1/3 = NB 41.5 = Asics 41.5 = all in size US8. With small exceptions and those they weren't because they were too big or too small. They were just too narrow for my feet (I.E. NB Tiago numeric skateboarding models were a bit too narrow for my regular width feet and also the regular 997 models feels too small so I felt the need to go size up for them (so size 42 here), the 997 "Made in USA version" were tts in 41.5). Sometimes some models are not made well for our feet and I recommend to just skip that model and try something else don't use them too big or too narrow just because you want that model (the comfort has to be instant when you take them in your feet). This "MoreV4" fit me very well (I prefer a more relaxed fit and I will explain why). Usually having a pair of shoes for few hours in our feet, they eventually gonna start to swell and because of that you might want to have an initial "relaxed fit" to keep the comfort even after longer periods of time with them in your feet. Basically the rule of thumb works most of the time very well (for those that don't know how... you just place your big thumb in front of the bigger toe and it has to have space in between the toe and the end of the shoe). In general if a shoe is too small will create rapidly pressure points, if is too big your feet won't be easy make them secure inside only with the laces. That is why you have to know you true-to-size in most of the brands. When you have the chance go to a physical store and try most of the brands even though you might not like those particular models, do it anyway. Because maybe next year will come with something interesting and you will know how is your size in that brand in general. This is very useful when you do a lot of online shopping (like I prefer to do), because you can get plenty of "special offers" at very good prices. Quick tip: For example when you are at the airport and you need to wait for few hours your next fly, use that time to try everything that you find interesting to you, in the stores that are around you. I hope this comment helps you somehow! Cheers! P.S: Giving a "Like" to the video itself is more helpful for me than giving a like to my particular comment. :)
@@vacamoto83 Sure, no problem! You're welcome! When I have some spare time I'm trying to help, not just to reply. :) Hopefully I did it with you. Have a nice day!
Yes, I've seen that model, but... so far is NOT available here in Spain (on the official NB webpage). When it would be, I will give it a try Thanks for the suggestion!
I would see what I can do in the future... right now they are at least 6-7 episodes already shot... so it would take some time till it will be on the channel, if I decide in the end to try those particular models. Thank you for your suggestions!
They are dedicated running sneakers and they won't fit well with "regular" clothing, but IF YOU like to use sportive clothing in general, I don't see a problem. It's not "classy" or "sophisticated" look, but sometimes we need it. Everyone does it from time to time. Usually something like "Nike Air Max 90" or a pair of Converse would be more suited for lifestyle, but again those they don't have nowhere near this much cushioning so... Everyone has his/her own needs, I suppose. IF it was somewhere a lifestyle sneaker with this much cushioning that I knew about it, I will probably had been the first one to recommend it. :) Maybe one day they will understand, what the public really wants! P.S: This More V4 it's more "flashy," something like More V3 won't "pop" this much... because they gave it reflective materials only on the top of the tongue and is a bit more hidden there.
The pair from this video I didn't keep it BUT in 19 June 2023 I got a new pair (in same color) that I will show it in other future episodes being my bench mark and as future updates in order to let the people know how they look after some use. As right now they did hold up correctly so far, with relatively minimal signs of wear. Except maybe just "one thing" that I didn't like it much. I was cleaning the outsole with some fresh water because I wanted to show them in the episode of NB Arishi v4 (is the 3rd episode that it will come in the future) and I notice a wood chip/small thorn in one of the shoes. I do "light running" in them around a Park and occasionally I do run inside of the Park diagonally... And that was enough "to collect it" in one of the outsoles. This is why I do complain in my videos for NOT having full rubber soles, or at least under my heels & toe box if not 100% rubber sole (how is normal and logical as it can be). That thorn was half of the size of my thumb nail but, if it was larger could had been a lot worse situation and maybe even to get injured. Maybe I will show the hole that left behind in one of my videos. Not having rubber under our feet is a real danger and people are ignoring this issue completely from what I've seen so far and they are just "going with the flow" without saying anything. Same problem I had it in the past with NB 1080v9 (2019 model) that has around ~96-97% of rubber outsole and rest of it is very small amount of exposed foam and still happen to me the same exact thing (that NB 1080v9 "women version" because I didn't find it in men colors that had my size and didn't really care much how was rated being a light blue color.. And had around 6 months of use...NB More v4 had less than 2 months when happen... Ep64 13:17 where I show my problem with NB 1080V9). I had this problem with NB because this is the brand that I use in my private life but, it can be Nike, Adidas, Asics or any other brand that haves partially cover rubber soles. And I really see a trend for at least +4 years now were all the brands want to reduce the amount of rubber soles in their products... And is SUCH A BIG MISTAKE. I enjoy running at night and now is not as safe as it was in the past with these "open skin running sneakers". Because they obsessed to make them every time more lightweight that the previous version... I feel hopeless seeing that I can't do anything to STOP IT. I hope you find this comment useful!
As the description of the video says, at 15:46 you can see it that it has it reflective. More discrete than others but still clearly visible in darker environments.
@@ajay_sn I believe you will enjoy them, just avoid running over sharp objects with that exposed soft foam outsole. I have this particular model and happen to me more than once to find "things" that poke that foam and remained there. So, every once in the while I will verify it and remove everything that I find it in there. Yesterday I shot an episode of Adidas UB 5 "Miami Nights" (future Ep156) where at the end of that episode I did showed this particular thing as an update of my NB More v4's and what happens when we have exposed soft foams in the soles.

Yeah, they are far from perfect. But, is soooo hard to find something decent these days. After more of 6 months of use, I can say: - The outsole seems to last. About my greatest fear... to be poked with something in my foot... yeah, that happen to me once since then unfortunately... after some weeks use. Luckily the thorn didn't go all the way into the leg (at least this time). I had to change some "habits" in order to keep my feet safe: 1. Avoid running inside the parks and never after dark, which is such a pity 2. I had to be much more carefully where my feet land on the ground... because SAFETY is now a luxury, with these new crappy sneakers outsoles! :( - Because of the split heel design... makes them kind of chunky, too sluggish.... poor design... That freaking greed... ruins everything in this world. - I didn't find something better over time... :( The rest of them do the same with their products. P.S 1: About your sentence: "No lightning marks in the dark."- if is about reflective materials?!? They have some, as seen at 15:47 (they have "that", at least). P.S 2: About your recommendation with "More V3 trail". Those might be better for durability (Vibram usually have a superior rubber compound) but, for me I still have that issue with the exposed foam and the risk to get injured being stab with something sharp on my feet (small piece of glass, sharp stone or simply a small piece of wood from a tree). To me "that" happen so far 2 times and even being extra careful... There's a reason we had "full rubber outsoles" for almost 200 years ! I personally don't recommend to buy a product at the full price IF IT DOES NOT HAVE 100% RUBBER OUTSOLES. Even half will be overpriced! Thank you for watching this video! I wish that more people will SEE this real issue of not having full rubber outsoles...
