XC-72, 57/40, and 327 are my premium lifestyle choices. 515, 574, Fresh Foam Cruz as my daily go-to's. I rock the 412's for work. Not really into any of the 990's.

I'm currently looking at buying a pair of NB 9060. Although im a 46 year old male and thinking they may just be a tad over load for a middle aged man. Plus, they're pricey here in England at £160. I have a pair of 574 classics. Had them for about 12 months or slightly less. The grip is poor and the sole is now very very worn. My big toe is close to poking throygh the front suede also. They look great and are fairly comfortable but they do not last very long.
I love the 990 v3 too but the tongue has to be one of the most annoying things about it. Always slipping to the lateral side. I laced them around the tongue loop to try and keep it centered but I dont like how they look laced that way.
Grown men don’t wear 574’s where I live (Baltimore). They looked at as small kids shoes. From DC to Baltimore the 990-998 are the ones . I’m old school I still prefer the 580 rollbar only . Can’t stand Revlite
I really hope they bring the 574 sport version 2 back. In my opinion that was the shoe that started New balance and its current wave of hotness. It definitely wasn't as hot as the 550 even though I think those shoes are trash. But the 574 sport version 2 was hot at the time when it came out.

Hate to be that guy lol but the 2002r and 1906r actually get their midsole from the 860v2. the R stands for "re-imagined" so they basically redesigned those sneakers with the 860v2 midsole. That's why the 860v2 isn't the "860v2R" -NB Sales Lead
Really appreciate your New Balance posts. Really been beneficial. If you can help, where can I look for Extra Wide New Balance’s? I have: 993, 990v4, 900v5 and 990v6. However, I’m looking for the classic grey 990v4 ,3 and 2’s in extra wide in size 14. Where can I look. Please and Thank you.
Fuel cells (rebels propel elite v3 v4) , nitrel v5 are such light uppers and cushion for heavier people for all day comfort, I order them in literally every color. Those in snow belt might want uppers that provide more insulation. In the heat tho these work so well for ventilation and all day comfort. My Nikes are just for show, most uncomfy shoes...yuck
Great list. What’s with all the Nike though? They make garbage IMHO. Plastic junk that looks like it was designed by a 14 year-old in his parents basement. Not to mention incredibly overpriced.

same here! i have been reluctant on wearing ‘dad’s sneaker’ but i was inspired on how good they look on japanese/korean fashion style.
NB has great quality sneakers. When you see them in person you can tell they're built well and use good materials. I've got my eye on the 2002r.

57/40 could be a better option vs the 570.

990 v5 are the best in durability and comfort in my opinion and no toe pain at all
