I've been wearing 1080 V12's for years now and they are just as good now as they were brand new. I've put at least 2k miles on them. New Balance are the best Shoes I've ever wore. I also have a pair of NB Trail shoes that I've put probably 1k miles up in the hills and they are still in excellent condition as well. I am likely a NB customer for life at this point... cheers!

Honestly this was a nice shock, I had my eye on a pair of excellent condition black 990 V6, but someone grabbed it before me. Honestly the first time I tried these 1906Rs on and comfort is there, didn't look too crazy at my older age...lol. I had these mesh/metallics in Nike of Adidas 20, 23 years ago... this 2000s trend may die off...if it hasn't already. I simply don't care about the trends. These are just nice!
I just bought the more v5 yesterday, it has a 43 mm stack height, which is not the highest I've seen by NB, the SC trainer v1 a couple years ago was 47 mm, both those shoes are beasts! 😍

my NB collection is slowly getting bigger. I have a pair of 550s, I just bought a pair of my first 9060's last week in an AWESOME loud colorway, More Trail V3's, Fresh Foam X Hierro V7 and I just ordered a pair of 990 V6s five minutes ago. I had a pair of 990 V2s when they first came out but got rid of them because honestly, they weren't that comfortable. I'm hoping the v6 is more comfortable but also good and stable.

The Rebels have been my dog walkers since July. 1906r’s have been my go to joints all summer. For $140 for the Rebels V4’s, you’d be hard pressed to find something better for the money. It’s great.

I love the 1906r. I have the same color way and I agree with everything you said. True to size. The color way just looks so cool. I get compliments everytime I wear them. It’s very different in comparison to the other NB sneakers.

The 1906 blacksilvergold colorway is the most famous shoe for Kdrama fans. It was featured in 'Queen of Tears' Kdrama and its a big hit. My girlfriend was a big Kdrama fan, but im not. I heard that this pair is very famous in my homeland Philippines (Im currently living in Berlin,Germany. Coincidentally where some scenes in Queen of Tears are also located here). She really wanted to own a pair, then i bought her a pair, and also myself like our couple shoes. Was absolute fantastic, very comfortable and fits to our style and fashion 😁
I got them a few years ago and rock them from time to time during the summer. I put a $300 bid on them back in 2020 as a treat for myself for my birthday while I was buzzed when they were going for around 400-450 and a few months later after I forgot about them someone actually accepted the bid. I thought someone stole my info and bought something then I remembered after thinking back about that bid😂. In any case it's a great sneaker and I enjoy wearing them!
Check out that 1906U Whitaker Group Blue Steel collab. I got those and the Action Bronson’s Azul at the same time and I prefer the Blue Steels. And they should still be around or under retail.
The NB 550s are fire BUT I have to say many ppl have said they are uncomfortable and need to be broken in, including me. For me it’s only the right sneaker at the big toe knuckle on the ball of the foot. Only wore twice and still trying to get the sneaker to not dig in :(
Not sure if same issue, but my right shoe was digging in to my big toe when the shoe was creasing, I cut the stitching between the thick panels next to the bottom lace and that fixed it
It took me 5 days straight of wearing them and then they were perfect. I went half a size up tho. Now I'm planning on getting either 9060 or 1906 or 574 I can't choose atm lol
Not a sneakerhead, just a dedicated NB and running shoe wearer. The construction of the 530 feels very cheap. Especially if you’ve worn the higher models (990 and higher). I’m so used to the quality of the higher models I was very disappointed with the 530s. I know the lower numbers quality isn’t as good but there’s even a steep fall off from the quality of the 530 vs the 574.
Head to your NB outlets. You'll see a lot of these models there. Even the 2002 and 1906 are discounted at foot shops.
