College is a hostile work environment you overpay to work in especially when the teachers start picking on you and insisting that you must know what you want without you having proper verification (which most certainly requires future knowledge). It's quite highly abusive to have one teacher among many act on oneself with such a high degree of entitlement.

Online classes for college was legitimately the worst experience I have ever endured. Not being able to make in-person connections with my peers and being stuck in the very definition of insanity is not something I want to relive. I’m happy it’s in-person again: actually living on my own, sustaining myself while also gaining contacts and such is a great feeling. Though videos like this do highlight some of my worries when it comes to college. I want to be wealthy, so I am looking into multiple business-related classes during the months where I’m out of school, but post-secondary has me on edge, as does my career path (for reference, I’m studying for a degree in 3D animation).
I wholeheartedly feel as though im not gonna go into college even though my family wants me to, but im really not sure what other options can lead my into a somewhat comfortable life in the future

There’s also a Marine Corps reading list that changes year to year for Marines to read based on their rank and having to write a paper about them; although some platoons don’t really enforce it that much. Just a heads up in case you thought joining the military meant not picking up a book ever again.

I totally agree. My college had a rule of 70% minimum attendance rule so I only went to college to fulfill 70% attendance so that I could appear in exams. Rest I would stay at hostel and study on my own since going to college required money and I didn't have much. Glad college is over.

I go to a college in state and moved into the dorm. I gained 5 pounds, spent all the money I had saved up all summer, and felt very lonely. I moved back home and its awesome, I get home cooked food, go to the gym, and have a job
I got my degree. During my time in the university, i became obese. I drunk every day. Now i am a bit older, i lost the weight i exercise, don't generally drink or smoke. I disagree with weed. It's good stuff. The sad reality is, you have to do mistakes, being a student or not. So it's not exclusive to that aspect of life. It's the first time in your life that you are free and alone, of course you'll fuck up.

My mental health was already unstable by the time I left high school and extremely worsen during my two years of college. I completely broke, mind snapped and everything during Covid and so I finally decided to just take a gap year. I feel very disappointed at myself for not being strong enough to get by two more years but I think I need this break.

You can find work, travel, or do anything else, and not having tons of debt will make all of that much easier. There is nothing wrong with not going to college, and, if you want to, you can always decide to go later in your life. Whatever you do, it’s your life to live. You shouldn’t go to college because it’s what you “must do.” If you attend university, it should be because you want to
My mental health was already unstable by the time I left high school and extremely worsen during my two years of college. I completely broke, mind snapped and everything during Covid and so I finally decided to just take a gap year. I feel very disappointed at myself for not being strong enough to get by two more years but I think I need this break.

I'm waiting until I graduate high school to get therapy, but I'm also coming to terms with the fact that when I'm in college I'll be too busy and broke for therapy, which is a problem bc that's when I'll probably need therapy the most
