Love the crystals, I hate clothes shopping I walk round and round looking but never find what I'm looking for... Eating out we don't do that often, but then I love cooking.. Love being a home bird since I took early retirement.. So we do things to please our selves now.. We have some lovely places to go and have afternoon tea, in and around Norwich, lots of oldy world places too we have so much history in Norfolk.. Lincoln looks similar to Norwich with tudor style shops, and the beautiful cathedral... We have the castle too with the museum inside with lots of different tea pots... Thankyou for sharing with us ❤to all
Yes, must agree with you about the similarity with Norwich. I used to live in Norwich in the late 70s, along Brunswick Road, just right behind the Norwich and Norfolk Hospital which I believe the hospital is no longer there. So many memories....cheers.
@@LeeinaRee yes the hospital moved we had a new hospital built in Colney near the UEA.. Norwich have changed a lot since the 70s.. But Norwich have had alot of new building work.. Some good some not so..

I love York, and an fortunate to live just a few miles from Lichfield which is noted for its three spires cathedral. Lichfield is also noted for Dr Johnson who wrote the first dictionary, and Erasmus Darwin Physician. The Saxon Hoard was located three miles from where I live. 😊 xx

Oh Lincon. I loved the shops. But that hill. You almost need a pack horse and oxygen tank. ( I do have walk with a walker) We had to keep stopping and going in the shops to catch our breath. Then came out after buying things we never knew we needed. 😂 so a win win . X

My husband died over 10 years ago. We used 6:05 to do that also. We hung out at Bookstores. I miss the old times for sure. When you are married for a long time there's a certain togetherness you achieve.

What a lovely town. I’ll admit I had to look where Lincoln was on the map. My UK geography is bad considering I grew up there. Albeit I grew up in Scotland. I know my way around the East Coast of Scotland quite well though.

We have the same issue in the USA with sizing when buying clothes…found several brands that work well for me, and I buy from them. Nothing made in China ever fits right. A lot of items are sold on Amazon are made in China…grrrrrr and often you cannot get the info from which country made the item. Lately, have found better clothing at thrift stores than new tagged items from department stores or on line shopping. Love the travel vlogs! ❤️❤️❤️

According to google Henry VIII visited Lincoln with his wife Catherine Howard in 1541. They stayed next door to the Cathedral at the Medieval Bishop's Palace.
