@@carlosg.ramirezarevalo8921 I thank you for your comment, because there are so many Russian haters out there writing hate comments, trying to discredit Russian people in any way.. ❤
Dude... Hatred is born out of being formerly occupied by Russians... My father has never had a chance of learning English and he truly loves travelling abroad. All his life he was forced to learn Russian, since that's the language that Russians imposed on Poland. He feels a bit envious of me being the first generation of Polish people who is able to speak English and understand anybody (I currently live in the Philippines with my wife.). 2nd reason is the 50 years of famine that we had from 1939 to 1989 when shops endlessly lacked food, even after you have waited in line for 3 hours. All we could have from the communist government was 1 orange for the whole family once a year, for Christmas. 3rd reason is mass r*pe by Russian soldiers on Polish women on the way to Berlin. My own grandma described to me how she managed to ran away from one Russian soldier. (What she also described is another Russian telling him to stop chasing her, but it doesn't change the terrific scale of Russian r*pes on women at that time, through Warsaw up to Berlin). 4rd reason is being invaded in 1939 and divided between St*alin & H*tler. 5th reason is mass execution in Katyń on thousands of Polish intellectuals (that Russia perceived as a threat). Don't worry though... We still prefer Russians over Ukrainians. Ukrainians have done something so much worse than all of those 5 reasons. It's better to have a tough love of "the older brother" than somebody who has commited a g*nocide on >120 000 of your people, and who happily celebrates it on countless marches, statues, and monuments in 2023.
Just like Sands of Iwo Jima, Tarawa, Saving Private Ryan, The Longest Day, Guns of Navarone., The Great Escape, and a thousand war movies from the US and the Uk.

Each day the Germans grew weaker and weaker while their enemies grew stronger and stronger still then, they believe in ultimate victory. What the hell.
the Russians may have fought with bravery and self-sacrifice or suicide with a gun to their backs if they didn't advance, there was no consideration for their lives or their well-being something that was never told their kamikaze style of frontal attacks Germans had odds 1 to 8 or 10 to have even in their Tank battles a German tank will take out 5 or 6 tanks but in the end, it will lose to numerical numbers .... taking berline cost the red army 1 million lives, in the end, they cracked it but at what cost, they could have taken the city in a 4 or 6-month siege without losing a soldiers Staline the ruthless leadership had no value to life of his own people he was in a race with the west which was advancing in caution and Germans were laying down their arms and surrendering to western troops the Russians victory was a numerical superiority with total stupidity attached to it that is still around till this day in everything they do
The USA provided the Soviets with millions of dollars worth of material under the Lend Lease program. US trucks, planes and weapons etc. helped the Soviets win.
This really is the most 4th form version of a war story, with ridiculous caricatures of Germans, and heroic Russian NCOs shouting "Charge" at every opportunity.
Yeah, like the Chancellery was the most quiet and rational place in the world at that moment. According to many battlefield officers who had to come to Berlin in those days and who returned to the front shaking their heads in disbelief, "it is a madhouse over there" in the Fuhrer"s quarters was their comment.
@@kacperzimowski4626 How Can You Be Polish If You Are The Occupied Parts By Soviet Union Arenr You Belarussian Or Ukranian ?
01:02:26 Love how the Soviets managed to potray the Wehrmacht as die hard bad asses
The music is outstanding. Better than The Gadfly. Hitler and his cronies are like the Three Stooges, too comical to be believable.
True
Hitler and Stalin themselves in the cast?
21.32 How many of you saw a shadow of an alien hand? 😉
1:13:23 omg they kept it lol
It was from BBC
Thanks for your videos. It's a typical propaganda film , totally inaccurate , but it's cool to see the film 📽️
Just like Sands of Iwo Jima, Tarawa, Saving Private Ryan, The Longest Day, Guns of Navarone., The Great Escape, and a thousand war movies from the US and the Uk.
@@rubenoteiza9261 So you believe this? Are you truly unbiased? Or are you picking the Russian side only?
@@moisuomi no , equality should prevail.
Both west and Soviet had their portrayal.
But Soviet is accurate and serious, but west exacerbate more... Than usual.
The flooding of the u-bahn was a new thing to me, I looked up and was true. But Charles Bedston was a complete lie.

Hey did you hear the one about, "Stalin and Hitler going into a bar"? .. Well, Hitler didn't come out.
This film is the biggest load of crap I’ve ever seen
@@doge2899 thank you. The opinion of someone who has an outdated meme for a name and profile pic is very important indeed 👌
@@Akatosh-r4c my pleasure
The film depict hitler as a clownish Darth Vader . T he sad fact is hitler was even worst than DV .
This is "socrealism", my friend.
Hitler and Zelenskyy similarity is simply astounding. Why are these two Nazi dictators so similar?
Shut up.
Interesting to know that this film was a few years before Stalin's death. After that, he would be denounced by Jruschev as mass murderer, guilty of the Holodomor and war crimes in WW2
It was the greatest lie and slander

You have to learn history, and not listen all sorts of rumors and gossip
@@Nemo-n6h Capitalists are in permanent fear of Comrade Stalin's name, how he beat their beloved capitalist racist leader in Hitler.
@@Nemo-n6h The greatest lie and slander is "The Fall of Berlin". Is that what you mean?
👍👍👍👍👍
The most ridiculous depiction of the fall of Berlin ever. 😂😂😂😂
It was a film of its time not a Hollywood version.
Stalin looked like he was a wax dummy!

I thought the title is about nowadays

When the commanding Russian general arrives at the end in Berlin he's in an American jeep
The USA provided the Soviets with millions of dollars worth of material under the Lend Lease program. US trucks, planes and weapons etc. helped the Soviets win.
The movie is okay.
Not really
@@WormsAreEverywhere it's good as a children's film. There were many better Soviet films.
And this Russian Hitler is far more accurate than Bruno Ganz's
haha, how funny are you,😂 what do you want from a 1949 movie??? Then Stalin was still alive, can you say something? 🥸
