There will always be a new model. I'm guessing his Nevera will need to prove itself as fun before he looks to upgrade. I think he'll enjoy his AMG One more, but I think he'd enjoy something like a Daytona SP3 or 812 Comp A more than both.
It’s gotten to the point where power and numbers like this are pretty much irresponsible as a manufacturer - and this is from a lifelong gear head who owns a GT3 and a Pista. How many billionaires really have the skills and reflexes to drive one of these things without putting everyone around them in mortal danger?

Since it doesn't seem physically possible with a rubber compound. 0.95 is pretty much the best you can do witht the current rubber technologies (and it derails fast from that if you want to make a production vehicle since it cannot be low to the ground).

2 reasons you buy one of these same as with any other speed demon hypercar such as a Bugatti Chiron SS or a Hennessy Venom F5 is just for pure acceleration and speed and how lucky you are to afford such car. Your not exactly gonna set new lap records at the Nurburgring or Silverstone in this. Dont hate the car nor love it but nevertheless its still a monster of car with warp speed acceleration. Some say it can time travel on how fast it is.
This actually likely will set some production records on the Nurburgring. The old version nearly broke 7:00 but this one is much more aerodynamic, has much more downforce and has much more power. Nearly 15% faster on the top end. Most importantly, it has far better cooling systems. EV’s generally struggle on the Nurburgring because of the long track length and they will all throttle the power due to overheating around halfway. This one should do very well on the Nurburgring, could possibly beat the GT3 RS if the track conditions are perfect

Bugatti Chiron is ~ 7:40 around the ring, slower than an RS3. Rimac compromised track performance for comfort, exactly why they always called the Nevera a "hyper GT". Now they made the R for the track. The ring isn't end all, be all for performance cars.
For me it's just the looks, the Nevera looked like a highly sophisticated robot from the future. The Nevera R looks like a wild animal, an absolute beast!
How about building an affordable roadster with... lets say... 250-300hp? They really would catch some passionate drivers with it. They could even figure out a way to put a manual transmission into an ev.

Nice looking car but as Mate himself confessed in an interview like a year ago or whatever it was, they've struggled to sell all 150 examples of the "regular" Nevera, I doubt the outcome will be any different with this machine tbh.
Nevera R is developed by petrolheads for petrolheads. Nevera is a great car, without any doubts and im proud it's coming from my country Croatia 🇭🇷, but still I would rather have 0.9ccm 2 cylinder 2 stroke petrol engine over any EV.
I'd like to see one against the koniseg gemera. Not based on track but on the road, the gemera has it beaten on power and on being able to carry an extra two people and no range anxiously being watched. So how about it I know they have great respect for eachother, but on the road is what matters. Who can be the best.😊
It wouldn't necessarily have to be a huge engine maybe even a 2 litre unit or something, just to give the car some personality but the majority of the power can still come from the electric part of the powertrain.

Ludicrous power, but like all other EVs, it probably just feels clinical. No soul. Like a gorgeous woman's looks, monumental horsepower will fade over time. Once you destroy every hypercar/supercar on the road, its just another fast EV. Gimme a V8/V10/V12 supercar with 1/3 the power and it'll make me 1000x happier.

I suspect the reason people don't want electric hypercars is that they're more interested in being looked at by making noise than they are in a actually going properly fast. If that weren't the case the reverse would be true.
I genuinely love the sound when I accelerate in my petrol car. It sounds cool. Ev just isn't the same. I like the instant and constant torque though but it feels more like fake while gas is just raw sportiness
What about making DBs fun to drive? I respect the ballistic straight line performance but I'd rather have fun at lower speeds than terrify myself at high speeds.

I suspect the reason people don't want electric hypercars is that they're more interested in being looked at by making noise than they are in a actually going properly fast. If that weren't the case the reverse would be true.

I genuinely love the sound when I accelerate in my petrol car. It sounds cool. Ev just isn't the same. I like the instant and constant torque though but it feels more like fake while gas is just raw sportiness

FWIW, the title says 0-60 mph in 1.74 sec, but (at 1:15) he says it's 1.81 sec.
0-60 1.74. 0 - 62 1.81.
In metric 60 is 96 so we have 62 which is 100km/h.
