well the ceo did say something about software, and it cutting power at around 100mph, probably due to lack of GPS speed like you said, it would be sick to see a basically no limit rimac on a dyno
I’m an astounded by the facts that you a CEO of willing to allow their customers. Test their cars to the max limit. Unlike some automaker brand that would “hurt their reputation” of their car did not perform as expected.
If you engineer a car to meet specific criteria, then ensure said car is manufactured to the specifications, then it should perform as expected. If you try to fudge numbers to make it looks good then you are lying and you should fear someone testing it out in the wild. Glad Rimacs is actually being honest if not understating things.
The one thing you should do next time for any high hp cars is go to a hub dyno that has 4 hub dynos and there’s no chance of spinning wheels. The high hp drag cars all use hub dynos.
I work in Lincolnshire Illinois and I am pretty sure it is your Aventador that is getting a new exhaust “tuned” around the neighborhood. It just happens to sounds “TOTALLY WICKED!!” It is awesome to see and hear. Thank you for doing what you’re doing. It puts smiles on faces!!
The car isn’t actually rated at 2000 hp you know, it is 1900. So that figure you calculated off your phone is very close to the rated amount, assuming that the drivetrain loss percent you used was accurate.
@beanapprentice1687 I think he's engaging in RUclips empty bravado. The Nevera weighs 5100 pounds. To haul that kinda weight to an 8.4 sec 1/4 mile is not the realm of your average production car...
That thing is insane. Also I would definitely cry if I won the lamborghini. That is one of my favorite childhood cars. On top of how life has been kicking my butt lately. why not a hub dyno? wouldn't give a better reading since it looked like there was a lot of wheel spin considering the amount of instant torque it would be producing?

I don't know about having conversations with everyone regarding 18% drivetrain loss on electric cars. (especially since these are essentially direct drive single speed) I think you meant regular ICE cars with auto transmission, but I have no doubt this makes 2000hp
Calculating 18% drivetrain loss is for a combustion engine with a torque converter/transmission/diff CV’s etc etc. Elec vehicles have none of that as the motors are essentially connected directly to the wheels.
@@AiVirtualBot they don’t connect to a transmission or diff either. I said “essentially” because while they are onboard they don’t technically attach directly to the wheels, but don’t have the parasitic loss associated with drivetrain components either.
@@Straya-Inc man have you even seen rimac drivetrain you can see it on their channel rimac said that also when was doing factory tour ,,there is complete separated engine and transmition in video ,,and there is transition or or something bc they are not connected directly to wheels,,andf that is where that loss if 18 percent is coming
