- Here's what happens when you mess with the clock to try and cheat the lottery in Paper Mario: TTYD.
Feel free to use this footage in whatever project you're working on.
0:00 Admit you changed the clock
2:14 Don't tell him the truth
Lucky: “If you tell the truth I’ll forgive you.”
Mario: “Alright fine I did it.”
Lucky: “NEVER TRUST AGAIN, LEAVE ME ALONE!”
When telling the truth gets you in trouble anyways....
Bruh wtf. This is like those creepypasta fake anti-piracy screens… but it’s real. I’d probably cry if I was a small child and saw this. 😭
That's exactly what I thought when I saw this...
and now I'm never gonna be able to buy a happy lucky lottery ticket.
If this works anything like in the original, happy lucky lottery tickets are gonna be A HUNDRED COINS FOR EVERY PLAYER.
Yeah, but in the remake it’s a lot easier to game the system. If you turn back time when Mario is holding the prize up, Lucky won’t think you cheated at all. This is only because you can adjust the Switch’s clock without closing the software. You couldn’t do that on GCN or any Nintendo system before.
mario really wasn't having it on that one
Lucky didn’t act like you cheated on his game; rather, he acted like you cheated on HIM.
So what happens if you do it again?
you get a game over lol
@@GHNeko isnt that just a rumour? in my experience nothing changes it just does what happened in the video over and over again
What happens if when you admit the truth, you go through and say you might do it again?
He does the same fake crash cutscene
Can this scene be done but with all of the party members to have everyone's reactions?
Please do it again and upload if anything new happens! It seems like it’s hinting at something..
?? how is anything being hinted at? This was in the original games
@@Verlisify 1:35 “I mean if you ever do that again I will end this game” it seems like the game is signifying if you tamper with the clock for a second time, they will end the minigame permanently.
What happens if you say you will do it again.
Copied & pasted from @GetLucky12:
He does the same fake crash cutscene
...What if you only changed time because of Daylight Savings though?
I said I didn’t do it. You ain’t guilt tripping me 😂😂
The hit with a hammer was personal
CRAP THEIR 500!?!?!
DAMN YOU!
I mean you kinda brought this on yourself if you do this
@@sometf2player752 im pretty sure if this works anything like how it did in the original, *EVERY SINGLE PLAYER IN THE WHOLE WORLD* will need to spend 500 instead of the usual 10.
I remember when a paper Mario youtuber I used to watch did this on the original, I checked my save file and happy lucky lottery was expensive and wanted 100 coins. This is why I'm afraid of people doing this, because I don't want to have my wallet broken to bits.
Just don’t get caught cheating. Easy as that, and it’s infinitely easier to do so in Remake too.
