Best video out there. Just be patient.
This is really helpful! Thank you so much
You're so welcome!
Thank you so much.
Great stuff
Is it possible to draw a normal distribution for real process data? Or I would have to model and fit it into normal distribution?
Yes you can, even creating dynamic bell curve. Learn more here: ruclips.net/video/jzLGWoxPL8M/видео.html
Hello and thanks for the video. Where do the -3 and -2.9 come from ? plz
That's normal std
Please make a video how to combine normal curve with historam chart
Thanks, here you are ruclips.net/video/bLhTsrmBjME/видео.html
How will you calculate normal standard deviation ?
To calculate a normal standard deviation, use STDEV(). You can learn how to create dynamic bell curve from this lesson for FREE. ruclips.net/video/jzLGWoxPL8M/видео.html
When I scroll down to calculate x, the equation keeps getting the wrong cells, what am I doing wrong? It keeps adding the ones below, here it is E4 and 5, in mine it adds the next cells and does not stick to the mean and SD ones.
Hi, you can press F4 (or Fn+F4) key to fix reference cells
It is possible generating random variables in excel from truncated normal distribution?
You can generate any value with ease by using scroll bar in Excel to create your dynamic bell curve. ruclips.net/video/jzLGWoxPL8M/видео.html
Didn't you get the formula wrong for the normal distribution values? It should be "mean + (standard deviation * z-value)", you put minus
Could you please explain which part did he get wrong?
yes please explain this part
the sole purpose in step 3 is to multiple the figures from step 2, in order to create the x-axis for the graph according to the spread (aka sigma aka standard deviation), so he wasn't meant to calculate anything here, so i would say the formula is correct here
nice
Thanks
This makes no sense. Why are you calculating mean and StDev if you are not going to use it and instead overwrite them with manual values? It loses its connection to the source data completely..
Source data is actually linked to you overall population mean and std deviation
Hello! Could you please tell me why we need to do it by excel when we can use App like Minitab, JUMP to do?
Feel free to reply. Thank you so much.
Hello, where did -3 to +3 came from??
That's the definition of "standart" distribution: +- 3 STDEV
Why is there no sound 😅
Why do we need -3 to 3 in step#2?
Because the normal curve assumes that the mean is in the center, and that the data points you have should for the most part land between -3 standard deviations from the mean and then +3 standard deviations from the mean... just do what he says lol
Think of the formula as “mean minus 3(standard deviations)” then “mean minus 2.9(standard deviations)” etc. the more times you do this, the smoother the curve and more precise the data
is there no audio cause i can't hear nothing
Do I not have my volume on, or did you just make a video with no audio where you typed out the speech?
WHY DID I GET A HALF CURVE?! Haha totally cut in half
Why is the 'normal standard StDev' -3 to 3? Seems arbitrary to me....
jesus christ, just talk to explain instead of typing errors all the time
lol
Watch this while eating food. It helps a lot to be patient.
@@PPHerman 🤣🤣
not entertained
why is the normal standard deviation started from negative 3?
