Probably the most beautiful song ever recorded. Ronnie's bass and Kenney's bass drum are locked in tight. Kenney's drum and cymbal sound is remarkable as are his fills. The guitars are perfect, The flute solo is dream like and full of hope. The ending with the harmonica is so original . And then we come to Steve's vocal performance,; vulnerable, innocent , a man truly in love with his wife. Steve Marriott sings from his soul. The greatest singer in the English speaking world, bar none.

Steve kept it real his whole life. Despite what many say, he was NOT underrated but highly thought of and NOT forgotten as some have said, he is WELL remembered. Tragic loss for us all. RIP
Janet Tucker - I couldn't agree with you more - and I've read most of the comments posted here for this track, but yours stands out for me! Mr Marriott was pitch perfect in every note and every song he sung. I will have this track played at my funeral one day - it's just so beautiful!

I still love Steve Marriott. Besides being good looking, he was an amazing guitarist and vocalist. I wish he had stayed with the Small Faces. Keep rock in the heavens Steve.
I was in the UK when Steve was playing acoustic shows at the Mean Fiddler, given this song and Red Balloon. I thought they’d be great. Sadly I didn’t go. Anyone go to one of these? Be very interested hear how good they were. Then I burnt my flat down, fell asleep boozed with a lit ciggie. I got out, but the smoke nearly got me. then he did the same thing and didn’t. Till you changed my mind
Love is sent through being good to you

Only what you always were, it's true
