Sadly, that’s the majority of the truck-buying public these days and why it’s almost impossible to find a new or used basic but powerful truck at an affordable rate.
I'm shaking my head at how WeatherTech thought it was a good idea to put the rear window deflector ON the window. As if that's going to vent anything or block any rain if the window is open 😂 It LOOKS good, but the function goes totally out the window.
I've been thinking of getting a Tonneau Cover, but I needed an inside rail to work with the back rack on my 03 Silverado (same body as the $10,000 truck). Getting ready to place my order for one of these covers. Thanks for the video. Keep up the great work!
I need to replace my wind deflectors with this Weather Tech product. Mine were adhered above the window frame and a luck strike by a hail stone put a dimple above the deflector so rain still gets in the driver's side. Thanks for the heads up, JD.
The bed cover is cool, I have one on my truck. Only thing to think about though is if your tailgate doesn't lock it's virtually useless at keeping people out of the bed. My tonneau cover is pretty much the same thing, but my tailgate locks and you have to unlatch the tonneau cover from the inside of the bed so when the tailgate is up, nothing is easily openable. Now granted it's probably pretty easy to break the cover or just cut it with a knife or something if you wanted to, but that draws a lot more attention to the thief. If I see someone cutting or prying on a $400 bed cover I'm going to be slightly suspicious. But if your tailgate doesn't lock, no one's going to think twice about someone just opening a tailgate and grabbing something from the back, they're going to think it's their truck. I would get him a locking tailgate handle next, else the cover offers little security.
from the first video I would not want the bed rug because I hunt and wouldn't want to blood from deer or any animal staining or causing any problems with the bed. I would just get a mat if I wanted protection
So the back vent visors do absolutely nothing and the front ones make it so you can hear wind noise. Those channel mounted visors suck buy the adhesive type only.
Whoever paid 10k for that truck got ripped off... it’s not even a crew cab. It’s a 2005 old body Chevy too smh. That is maybe worth 5k. Doesn’t even have leather.
I like the functionality of the rear vent visors.
😂 ikrrr those windows that don't roll down really are amazing for driving in the rain!
It looks bad on trucks that only have em on the front window imo
🤣
@@joesieg4444 it looks bad on trucks, period imo
on most trucks at least, it doesnt actually look too bad on this one
These are upgrades for someone who wants a truck but doesn’t need a truck

Everything you’ve done to this truck I undo when I buy one
Lol
Wow, so many people asked.
Truck is looking good, nice upgrades. Can't wait to see the last upgrade. Thanks for sharing JD.

Truck is looking good! Looking forward to the next video.
Roll up tonneau covers are great

What about $100 for Window Tinting?
Can't wait to see the next upgrade!

I have those on my 2500, the rears do not stick to the glass. They go on to the seal. You'll tear them off rolling the widow down the way you did it.
10k for a 5k truck, 😮
Paid 140 for my roll-up bed cover and it is amazing...
I like your videos very informative and well put together kudos
Great video. I am guessing since it is etrailer it will be a hitch or brake controller. Either one would be great. Look forward to it.
Thank you I love all your videos
Nice short series! I noticed a tripod 😜 tripod or not always great videos!!!
I hope those hideous wheels are next!
What lift is on the truck?
Wheels!!!!!!
Do those vent vizors come in different tints?
Brutus yes
This is a really sick truck!! Great upgrades great video!
I like your friend....very helpful....best upgrade!
how lift is your truck?? 🤔🤔🤔
how many inch lift is your truck?
Can you tell me how much of a lift the truck has on it? Getting ready to lift mine but don't want it to high... This is perfect
I really like my in channel visors. Best 100 bucks I've spent. I like how the rears still look in channel on this truck.
Should have went with a trifold or bi fold hard cover tonno- worth every penny for durability and protection
I would get 2 I don’t like the idea of a bed rug and I might put a toolbox in the bed so no bed cover
from the first video I would not want the bed rug because I hunt and wouldn't want to blood from deer or any animal staining or causing any problems with the bed. I would just get a mat if I wanted protection
This is how to grampafy a truck
Very helpful
what truck is that?

Can I be your next tax write off?? Hahaha #jealous #thumbsup
To be honest, I'd rather put a topper on it, not a tonneau cover.
these are awsome vids
cool
Does he want to sell that truck?
I think everything is for sale for the right price.
How about a toilet. Red light relief.
I’m guessing the last upgrade will be MUD FLAPS!!!!!!
Not for $300 like he said it was. Mud flaps cor my Silverado from Husky were only around 70-80 bucks.
Lose the brush guard.
Very nice ......
it needs better rims
love the vid and 4

You’re really over milking this for minor stuff that doesn’t deserve a video
these are just accessories
