I miss the old days of car customization that didn’t require a half million dollar income. There ain’t no way I’m shelling out $1100 for headlights or north of $3000 for a bumper.
In the old days you couldn't get lights like these no matter how much you paid.
@@jasonkillsformomy that may be true but I managed just fine with the old 7” round Piaa driving lights for a fraction of the cost. I’m not saying the new stuff isn’t cool but there is no justification for pricing like that.
If you can't buy it, build it there's enough content on youtube to teach you
An aftermarket steel rear bumper is around $2000 so a fancier bumper as shown is not unreasonable.
Factory head lights are over $700 each.
Finally, a solution to the oh so hard problem of bringing a bottle of water with you.
and what about being stuck in traffic , after drinking water , then having to take a piss ????
Actually I was thinking about it being placed in a cabin in the woods. No need to drill a well. Within reason of course. But this would not work in the desert. Also i feel like it will dry out your place if used to much. Like winter when you have low humidity and run humidifiers in the house. Even way off road camping it would be nice and extra 5 gals a dry drinking water.
The struggle is real
Those dump inserts have been selling in the USA for about 35 years now .
The best security for your vehicle was invented by Mr.Bean. Leave your car anywhere, just take the steering wheel with you! Now try stealing my car without a steering wheel!
I hope this channel realises that most of these 'new' ideas for example securing a spare wheel under your vehicle has been around for many decades
You won't get in an accident with those lights, you'll cause them.
Great idea, blind oncoming traffic.
Of course you'll use driving common sense etiquette, turn off or lower them to incoming traffic !!
@@rodolfosanchez7661 I agree, the only problem is common sense and courtesy isn't very common in todays world.
Unfortunately what is most common is the attitude of
"Hooray for me and the hell with everyone else".
You are correct, Sylvania ad for led headlights, said see 300% better. The oncoming cars can’t see the road, since they are blinded.
@@danielespey4116You've missed the entire capabilities of the headlights.
I would be amazed if many of these companies are around in 2 years. Too cost prohibitive or nobody really cares about the product
I disagree, yet, everyone is allowed to their opinion. I am definitely interested in several of these products. 😊
I also disagree. The world is a big place and the after car market is huge. Not to mention if any of those company own the patents to this products they will definitely be around.
They're run by those Russian and Indian guys with a stick welder and angle grinder that destroy one or two good tools to make some totally useless gadget.
ARB has been around 45 years.
Where the heck do you live? Everyone I know would be interested in almost every single one of these products.
Oncoming vehicles are blinded by lights
Actually, the DiskLok looks like "the club" from back in the day.
The new and updated Club Il! Lol
"Sorry about the accident officer I was on my cellphone adjusting my headlights".....
Any time you hear "extracts water from the air", realize that means it's a dehumidifier at the heart of it with other features added.
I gotta admit I would never get under a car that had one of those air jacks! If it loses pressure it will lower down
looks to me like they come with a jack stand type thing that wraps around the tube, so that could be a potential solution.
But realistically, that's not unique to this type of jack. You should never get under any vehicle that is supported only by any type of jack without stands.
they probably have a safety built in, a pin or something, but you never just leave your car/truck without a backup device to catch it if something fails, jackin up a car is sometimes annoying, this device here in the video is mostly for rich people who have ten cars and no room to move them around, so they put that in all of them, or for race team, normal people would never have this
Jacks are only for lifting a car up. They were never intended on holding car while you get under it. Regardless of type of jack. That's what blocks and jackstands are for.
Water fountain in the car!!! Wow, Actually needs to be accompanied by porta-johnny and/or porta-jane.. That should almost be utilized more.. I typically grab a bottle of water, but if you're stuck in traffic, "porta-johnny" would be super handy... cheers
The water maker is just ridiculous. Adds weight, needs a battery. Good god.
My, what a collection of over expensive toys.
So watergen is just a portable dehumidifier?! With a different label and 10 times as much?! Lmao
if you read the instructions on dehumidifiers they all say do not drink or use water collected to water plants it is usually contaminated with dust etc this looks like that silly fontus thing that never worked
Ya, so my dehumidifier doesn’t filter and dispense clean water
@@matthewpepper9164 ok then go spend 30 grand on this filtered one. I would just get a dehumidifier, then add a hose, filter, like on an RV and boom. Clean water
That sounds incredibly similar to the product in this video 🤔 and that doesn’t sound like a very easy thing to retro fit to work in every vehicle, that also seems like the cost of materials would be high because you have never done it before and trial and error can get expensive but I’m sure the fit and finish of your dehumidifier-gardenhose-cup monstrosity would be far superior to theirs as well 😂 point is what they have produced is far more than “just a dehumidifier”
Wow really? You own one of these and it isn’t working as well as they claim in the video? How much water does yours produce?
Our local cops are making a killing writing tickets for blinding accessory led lights, or LED’s not properly aimed.
Wait! What? Your cops pull people over for lights that are too bright and improperly aimed? You must have super achievers for cops. Where I live, that ain’t happening. Along with other annoying traffic violations like complete disregard for the use of turn signals, noise pollution by every short dicked 4x4 truck owner or Harley rider that thinks exhaust noise is a decibel contest, or the hellcat this or the hellcat that, that should just plain be illegal.
all to rich for my blood
Gotta admit those lights look super cool.
As a 5th gen 4Runner owner I've kind of forgotten what it's like to actually be able to see well while offroad at night.
they look great are likely illegal in 99% of the usa either too bright or wrong light frequency or other reasons if you get caught with illegal headlights your car might be impounded or seized in some states and possible multi thiusands of dollars in fines
@cl844 Pretty sure they are specifically intended for offroad use.
@@cl844 It is a pity that they aren't illegal here in Australia. While really powerful lights mite be better for the driver of the vehicle they are on, they are a real problem for oncoming vehicles. It is winter down under at the moment and every morning on my way to work I encounter a lot of drivers who's reaction time could be measured with an hour glass. If the light manufactures could include a sensor that would detect oncoming lights and automatically dip would be good.
@@davidstephens1092 even worse you guys drive on the wrong side of the road too 🤣🤣🤣
@@cl844 Fair enough, I'll pay that one. After encountering some of these lights I could be driving on the other side of the road till I get my vision back.
Forget the Jacks, I would rather have that Holden Ute!
That disklock for the steering wheel looks like it could be opened with a bic pen.
Yep. Circle key + Bic pen = broken into quickly. Not that the circle picks are difficult.
So many people have come up with their own definitions of the word 'autonomous'.
The new 'level' for most of these items must be the 'cray cray' level. Someone would have to be crazy to pay those prices.
Dude just dug his pants out of his butt. (14:24) "Safety measures are taken seriously." 😂
Thank you very nice video.
Those white lights are useless in rain and fog. Always equip your car with a pair of yellow fog lights.
3:54 "reduced ticket prices" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 That’s corporate speak for, "same price- more money for us".
Love that motorcycle electric lift for the truck
They also looked as if they were aimed too high.
These headlights may not be in accidents. Just causes others to have accidents by blinding them.
Love this channel
Those bright lights blind me even after passing I can't see. I have light sensitive eyes and I don't appreciate them...
A dump for a truck. Dad had one 40 years ago. Not new tech
I know a way WAY cheaper way to prevent car theft ........
lose your key(s) now what????
They didn't mention the price of the Watergen, but I looked it up. Comes out to 26,000 before taxes...
And when you need to pee, that is filtered and recycled?? LOL
It's a fancy, car-mounted dehumidifier though...
Stupid bright lights are more likely to cause an accident by blinding oncoming traffic. The people that need/use this kind of thing seem blind as it's mostly unnecessary in an urban environment.
Oh boy, headlights that will blind other drivers and cause accidents. Can't wait to get them.
Have anything under 100.00?? The stuff you showcase is nice but out of the average Joe's budget.....
Click bait? Where's the thumbnail?
I’m sorry the air jacks remind me too much of speed racer! 😂
Airjacks=anti-theft. If the jacks can't be let down without a key, two, or four wheels off the ground will make it difficult to drive away.
Unfortunately it would be the biggest target to stealing the wheels.
anyone else notice the horrific welding done on the BAL hide-a-spare...lol
Hey if you can’t weld good weld a lot. Good eye that “bead” where they welded it to the frame looked like it was done by someone that was blindfolded.😂
Moisture Collectors.. been making them since 80s. cool to see them in a car
So you sit in a traffic jam drinking water, then you gotta pee..............
@@bobmarshall3700 im already working on the in car toilet chair upgrade, i'ma be rich.
The jacks would also make a great security system if they could be jacked up with engin power
Me looking at those lights wondering if I can make them fit into the spot where the high beam units on my 6th gen Celica go
Perfect timing @ 14:24 as they say, "safety measures are taken seriously", and the guy pulls his pants out of his butt at the same time!
He was testing out the gas detector 😅
Stop pressing buttons for lights and just drive.
And put down the phone
I can do almost everything you presented with the truck bed I got. For nothing.
2k for headlights!🤣🤣
No thanks
Anything available that doesn't require getting a loan in addition to your car financing?
Sooooo, make my own water while stuck in traffic……no thanks, I’ll keep my plastic bottle so I can use it to pee in while still stuck in that same traffic
The biggest use for the truck that jacks itself up is going to be at the Sonic Drive- In or the high school parking lot!
Blinding headlights are great for causing accidents for the victims of blinding
I get to the point sometimes of considering just driving straight for the offending headlights. If I am going to die in a wreck because I am blinded, then maybe I should take the culprit with me...
@@selador11 it's a growing problem. In parts of Canada there used to be laws against blinding headlights but....
~~I remember a time when it was standard rule spares for both cars&trucks came standard too. And essentially taken to the coals for simply suggesting of replacing it w/donut? Mobile homes/trailers did as well which were stored just behind the hitch either flat inside the frame or mounted atop upright.
Yeah the LED headlight users don't get in accidents cause they're too busy blinding people infront of them. LED headlights are for tools
Australia has dozens of companies manufacturing tray canopies of better quality & adaptability than shown here
The channel is a drug, once you get into a video there is no going back
Outside a couple products I see a bunch of overpriced items that have lesser costing equivalents that work well and get the job done. I suppose if I had money to waste and wanted to have cool toys,. I'd do it but water from my dash? Nope on by.
Does anyone else here remember The Club…..😂
My old Dad used to say "Some people would buy poop on a stick"
Dad was Right
Crazy.
How much?
From what I've seen seen most vehicles today come from the manufacturer with the headlights aimed too high therefore blinding everyone else at night. As an over-the-road driver one of the first things I did before leaving out in a new truck was making sure the headlights were adjusted. If you can see your vehicle's light beam on the trailer doors in front of you they are aimed too high and you are blinding all vehicles in front of you.
Having them aimed too high also makes it harder to see the road at night when it's raining. The light just won't be hitting the road and its markings.🤷🏼♂️ It'll also make reading signs more difficult.
Absolutely 👍
People should also notice that if the signs three blocks ahead of them are lighting up then perhaps their headlights are misadjusted or their brights are on.
Very 1st product... it's great if it's on your car (the headlights), but people driving in the other direction get blinded, not very thought out if you ask me.
They're for driving off road, not around town. You sure you thought out your comment?
@jcarry5214 yes i did. Folks don't only use them for off road, you really think they're going to change them b4 going from dirt to pavement?
@@joemcknel2515 Do you turn your highbeams off when people are coming the other way?
That wheel lock, what keeps people from stealing just because you covered the wheel don't mean it will won't still just make the car more uncomfortable to steal, all that disc is in a wheel cover lol
14:20, This would also be helpful on Trucks that have frequent blow outs. Seeing as this doubles as a Jack System for the truck.
That tow truck doesn’t seem reasonable since it’s going to exceed the payload.
That steering wheel lock is dumb. Besides how bulky it is when you have to store it, the fact that locks via a key is pointless . . . Anyone with a drill can bust it open in a matter of seconds. So you will be out both your vehicle and $175 for the useless lock. If I were a car thief, I would leave it behind just to make a point!
I think its adorable how you think the goverment will allow you to have these
Oh no! More lights to add to the scurge that is super-bright lights and a-hole drivers!
Now where's the video with all of these put on a single car/truck at the same time 😂
TY
Holden Ute??❤
Those air jacks should be standard equipment on every single vehicle General Motors and BMW produce..................
For all the Dodge lovers thank God it ain't us I'm still getting that steering wheel cover
People with high quality lights are less likely to be in an accident because they blind everyone else causing them to crash.
Nice video, but did anybody see the guy pick his butt at the end? That should have been edit it, LOL.
Yea, musta had a wedgie 😂😂😂😂
6:42 😂 sawzall would cut that junk right off 😂
As far as the air lift suspension set up on those trucks. I had a guy who hated the air bags. They suck when you let your truck sit for a long time when your bag folds and can't unfold it. Shit is a pain in the ace lol
Lights are pretty much regulated in US and Europe
$1000 for an led lamp !!!!!!! Wow there's about $900 in profit.
I wouldn’t buy any of these ridiculously expensive pieces of crap
I wish they would invent a device to stop all these car RECALLS!
Bumper: Not for $3000 dollars I wouldn't
The reason why the lights lower their crash rate is because every other driver is blinded by them. And accident rates have increased as a result…
Raw metal
That air suspension is purely for the "look at my overcompensation" crowd. Diff doesn't move, absolutely no extra ground clearance, raises your centre of gravity to make you more unstable. Complete joke of a product, much like people putting spacers on to widen their stance.
5:49 that looks like it can be opened in under 1 minute. Just ask the lockpickinglawyer
Not all thieves are that professional like the lockpickinglawyer
4:44 Sono motors filed for bankruptcy back in 05/2023 - there won't be any cars appart from the prototypes. Failed to gain money in serveral approaches.
If you have enough money to make a Heep a good 4 wheeler you can afford all of this stuff!
Is that computer generated noise you call "music" really necessary? Makes watching the video really annoying!
14:23 Gouda Geo-Equipment guy picks his butt in a commercial!?!? 😳
These are some cool ideas, but most of this has been done before....at cheaper price. Why try to reinvent the wheel???
We are waiting when genius is give a toilet facility inside car
I'm a child... at 14:24 the engineer is picking out a wedgie... 😆
What is the data on those bright headlights blinding other drivers?
Unless there are. led bulbs that actually go inside of the stock housing unit, then they're illegal to use on the road. like the 1800$ set seen here. offroad only supposed to be. What's going on right now with most people switching from the old school type to the new led type is they don't **** fix the damn aim pattern for the new lights. and it ends up **** blinding the **** out of people happens to me daily in a low sitting car, especially all the **** **** and **** jacked up trucks that don't give a **** about nothing but **** **** each other and **** **** diesel trucks.
$1,300
They're for off roading, not the interstate.
But what about the Ford Falcon? I Never seen that style until now…. ? I’ll Slithering back under my rock now!
✌️🤟🤙
Everything on the channel is more than wonderful..except for the annoying generic music..
Probably cheaper too install a led light bar,,
Any solution to gettting that 💦 out of your body while driving?😅
3:29 need a built in loo, too!!
ARB headlamps are probably great in the outback. They do not meet SAE DOT legal requirements for vehicle sold in the United States. "Chicago's" traffic conditions are due to people who do not take advantage of its public transit systems but drive nearly-empty 5 passenger vehicles on the 3 major converging interstate expressways , " to save time". The solar panel range is based on a compact EV with unobstructed sky view 24 hours per day in summer at a latitude south of Lexington KY
Looks like you could store more than 1 tire on that!
I actually have one on my Chevy Colorado. Bought it because I have oversize tires and a spare won't fit in the original stock spot under the bed. pretty good and you can definitely fit two tires.
or one tire and a bunch of gas and water.
@@jcarry5214 I was worried rocks could break those underneath
@@lifewuzonceezr like bouncing up behind the truck? I've never heard of that. Sliding off obstacles maybe but I'd rather lose gas than my bed.
