Final Fantasy 7 REBIRTH: Producer Confirms Advent Children Will Connect To The Trilogy?

With a recent interview from Producer Yoshinori Kitase, it would appear that the FF7 Trilogy will still lead us to Advent Children. What this means for Zack, Aerith, Cloud and Sephiroth? My thoughts on todays video.

You simply cannot have Advent Children without Zack and Aerith being dead - The implications of this seem pretty clear to me.

So heres the thing. I've said this a couple times online since we got this new info. But theres only really two possibilities leading up to Advent Children
Outcome 1. Some events might change, but Aerith dies and Advent Children happens.
Outcome 2. Some events change, Aerith lives, and a different version of Advent Children occurs.
Zack might live or die either way. But Aerith's fate is the biggest question and it will ultimately lead to either the original Advent Children events or an altered version of those events.

everyone who was hoping aerith lives at the end of ff7 remake won't be getting what they want because in order for ff7 remake to lead into advent children, both aerith and zack will need to die

That's really harsh. I wish they never had the whisperers introduced then in the first place. So they'll die. And the rest will be alive. And yet again an ending that is neither good nor bad. Why even include this time travel along with the whisperers? I would have enjoyed it more without all of that fate changing stuff. Little bits could have been added without those whisperers.
I used to think that og ff7 leads to advent children which then lead to remake. Were the whisperers only introduced for zack to be somehow more important in this remake? Cause all other changes weren't that important and could have been made without creating whisperers. If the outcome is advent children we know that no one will die other than Zack and Aerith. We already know that in the end Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Yuffie, Nanaki, Cid and Vincent wont die. That they defeated Sephiroth ect.
Honestly it's rather... Upsetting. Why did Cloud and the others even fight those whisperes saying things like:" A glimpse of tomorrow IF we fail today." the glimpses we saw where also shown as Flashbacks in Advent Children... Like seems kinda pointless. Maybe that's just me though. If the majority is happy with it, it's fine. Just thought the whole approach is weird.

Hmm...I still think FF7 Rebirth will play out differently.
Actually, this is reminding me how oddly Aerith was acting in the forest in OG. She might have had a similar situation, already knowing her fate or wanting a better fate. Maybe Rebirth/third game will feed into OG Aerith's choices, maybe it's cyclical.

If the FF7R trilogy really connects to the Compilation FF7 series, then it's pointless to not use the same Compilation FF7 voice cast back for the FF7R especially when they've used over 90% same Compilation FF7 voice cast in other regions (like Japanese, German, and French) to become part of the FF7R, so this is even beyond comprehension.
