    Thanks for reducing the learning curve. I can only get out 1-2 times a month and this helps tremendously.

    Commenting for the algorithm because I only have an LVS32. You deserve more views! It’s hard making content when you have a full time job(I assume), but keep at
    It!

      It is definitely not easy! I had a video on the lvs 32 as well if that helps!

    Thanks for the settings insight. I just completed my install and will use these settings as my baseline. My home lake is not that deep (20ft is the deepest) and stained water.

    Best tip before any settings or anything... make sure you're wiring to both your graph and gls10 box are up to par! This is where you are seeing most variance in setup to setup.

    • @JakeKeenom
      @JakeKeenom  2 года назад

      I was seeing it vary unit to unit on the same exact wiring and boat. Not that it doesn’t have an effect but it is minor in my experience

    Can you do a video on actually turning the LVS 34 transducer to correct positions. The old model had a sticker , mine just has marks . Thx

    Hey man, just recently got the LV 34 upgraded from the 32 I’m having issues with very fuzzy upper screen all the way out to 40 ft I can barely see my lure hit the water .. What kind of mount do you run? I have mine right on the shaft. Maybe it’s getting interference from the foot of the trolling motor idk

  • @daltonlawson7081
    @daltonlawson7081 Год назад

    About to upgrade at Christmas. How do you feel about turret mounts vs trolling motor mounted? Bass fishing only. Also, do you have a preference for graph? Debating between a 10 and a 12. I have very good eyesight and use a 9 now with no issues. But I want more megapixels.

    • @JakeKeenom
      @JakeKeenom  Год назад

      Mine in directly on the shaft on the trolling motor. It cost me less money and it less things that could potentially break on the water. No one ever buys a graph and says they wish it was smaller. I’m thinking about buying a 24 inch special lcd screen from a guy so the bigger the better in my opinion.

    G'day from Australia mate!! Just wondering are you running the power to your units and black box straight to your cranking battery?? Or if you are running 24v to your units?? A fair few guys over here are running 24v to the units for a brighter image. And I know I'm asking alot but do you know if you if you can network units that have separate power supplies?? Many thanks and great vid 👍

    • @JakeKeenom
      @JakeKeenom  Год назад +1

      So I work for a company that sells these systems and I have talked to guys at garmin directly. You do not need a 24v system. A 12v is all you need. Any issues with power are either bad wiring from the battery or interference from power wires crossing transducer cables. I personally run a 12v lithium that’s a 60amp hour that powers only units and that has been phenomenal for me. Just keep power wires away from transducer cables the best you can and you will be 👍🏻 I hope this answers your question.

    What orientation do you use for your transducer?

    Hey Jake!
    Just found your channel. Good stuff. Got a question for you. I just got my lvs34 and I’m having problems seeing my smaller baits and I did NOT have this problem with my lvs32. Thoughts on a potential fix?

    • @JakeKeenom
      @JakeKeenom  2 года назад

      My only issue I’ve had with finding my bait is that I am able to scope out further so it seems smaller. Other than that I’m not sure. I would try balancing out the gain and the color gain if the bait it faint. It’s it’s not showing up at all I’m not really sure.

I have the 34…I also moved it a couple clicks up on the physical transducer. I’ll play around with it a little more tomorrow. Thanks, I’ll let you know how they work on ol Sam Rayburn

      @@BillSr. twist the transducer….I want the slanted part more forward/up opposed to more downward. I moved it two clicks and I can see my baits much better now.

    I have the live scope with a 126 and a Garmin Force. My question do I need the Nav. Lake map? The Garmin guy said the mapping that came with the unit is fine. So is it worth getting it or not? Do I get that much more -your opinion? How about a video on this?

    Gosh i;ll bet your a great fisher person with all those electronic things like Livescope. Mrs great fisher person you can put that livescope where the sun don’t shive. With out the electronics you couldn’t catch enough fish to feed yourself. A fisherman you’re not.
