Just picked up the Echomap Ultra 126SV and this is the best video I’ve seen on RUclips that explains water conditions and making small and simple adjustments to maximize your unit. The KISS method (keep it simple stupid) in full effect and it’s great. Thanks for the video and great tips.
Confused. If I disable sonar, how will I be able to see fish on my FF screen? I run a portable Garmin Ehco Map 93 with pole mounted transducer exclusively for my LiveScope. I rely on my boat mounted Lowrance FF for side imaging, sonar, etc. With everything running, I can’t get any closer than 45 feet to winter crappie schools suspended in waters 30-45 feet deep. Please clarify what I can do with my electrons to not spook deep water crappie schools. Thanks…loved your video and have subscribed.
Thank you for the tips! Question, Does your screen ever freeze up even when you have plenty voltage. I replaced batteries, new power cord, new cradle and it still freezes up on me. So frustrating.
i have a lvs32 and changing to a lvs34 should the settings be the same, ive got the 32 dialed in pretty good hoping there is going to be a difference between the 2. i have 3 units networked to the black box, will i need to update all 3 seperately or if i update one unit will update all 3 if they are all powered on, thx for the video keep them coming
The settings in this video are the best for that. Most of the time people think they blended in with the bottom, when they actually just turned left or right. Feather your transducer and you’ll see it.
Really do appreciate the video on the LV 34 I'm still having problems but it's me not the equipment going to try some of your suggestions and see if it helps with the clarity and keeping track of my lure.
I have tried these settings but my unit still is not as clear as yours. Not sure why. I made sure I had good clean power to the unit. I just wonder if some units, from the factory, work better than others. Its not as clear and I have trouble seeing my jig. Any ideas?
@@mikedixon3292 i think you can disable "ALL" sonar and go to your panoptix screen>menu>enable transducer. I believe that will enable just your LS transducer
Do you ever use the blue screen? When they installed mine they put the settings in and told me I was good to go. I’ve never even tried amber. God Bless!
@@CrappieMonster Thank you Sir. 1st time seeing your channel. Good stuff. I run HBirds but have the 106sv for livescope. Shop messed with a few strings so I’ve been afraid to mess with anything while I’m learning. I can’t see my lure past 40-45 feet. Is that normal?
Mine has never looked anything like that in the beginning when you went oops and it got all grainy thats how Mine is all the time iv spent hours adjusting and adding grounds clean power went through all the settings and it still looks like crap
@CrappieMonster 106sv with the lvs32 I have hated it since I got it the lvs34 looks better from what I see people saying but I'd really hate to spend that money and be right where I'm at with a little less crappie imagine I'm still mad that I can't use it its so bad so much noise and grain even your stock settings are a 1000 times better then mine has ever looked
@CrappieMonster I'm going to get back in my boat and go over my settings again with your video and see if I missed something thanks brother I'll let you know if it helps

Man I appreciate you doing this video. I’m learning my livescope. I input your settings while on Lake Darbonne today. It was crystal clear.
Awesome! Thanks for the feed back.
Going in the morning to try out these settings. Thank you for the great explanation on these livescope settings!
No problem at all! Thanks for watching
Would love to see a video about how to get a lvs32 really clear.
Upgrade to 34
Wow, just wow. Tried these settings this morning and by far the best settings I have used (echomap ultra 102sv + lvs34).
Thank you for sharing bro 👍
Absolutely! Glad it helped
Thanks for these awesome setting never been so clear
Happy to help!
Thanks to much I really appreciate the setting by far the best I have found thanks for sharing
Glad to help, thanks for watching
Great video. What bracket is your live scope pole on? And what pole do you use?
I have two in there. One straight to the trolling motor and the other on a All Aboard All Sync.
Absolutely love the content.
Thank you!
Oh I forgot thanks for the video and all the great information 👍
Great job. Thk u, what size screen?
16”

I only disabled sonar on the back unit. The front one was still on.
The back one will still ping from the transducer.
@@CrappieMonster Well, I’m a newbie so more confused now than before. This novice is just not getting it. Thanks for trying.
Sweet, thank you .where did you get the stand from for unit please ?
Cornfield fishing
How about a video on which is better for the lsv32 mounting on a pole; starboard or port side.
In my opinion, it would depend on whether you’re right handed or left handed. For me it’ll be starboard
Pole is on starboard side of boat, but transducher is on the port side of the pole.
What does that look like on livescope.
Thank you for the tips! Question, Does your screen ever freeze up even when you have plenty voltage. I replaced batteries, new power cord, new cradle and it still freezes up on me. So frustrating.
Mine does not. I would send it back.
If your in 16 ft of water what setting do you go too. Some say 5 to 10 ft above the depth your in.
20’
Thank you
What Software Version Are You Running I never Can Get my screen this clean
I’ll have to look because I’m not sure. I try not to update unless I have to.

Using active captain I believe it will update all at the same time. If the units are not the same using a memory card will only do one at a time.
Settings will be really close to the same
What do you change during pollen season on weiss lake??
If pollen gets really bad, turn your color gain down.
What can I adjust to lighten up the three beams shooting down at an angle?
Color gain.
How do I adjust to see a fish that has gone to the bottom and blends out with bottom?
The settings in this video are the best for that. Most of the time people think they blended in with the bottom, when they actually just turned left or right. Feather your transducer and you’ll see it.
Man I really apprecaite the settings.
It just gets it simplified. Most people are over thinking it. Thank you
Thank You for this info now let's go catch some
Good luck. Thanks for watching!
What’s the name off the poll u have mounted to your trolling motor for the live scope transducer
All Aboard Marine
Model All Scan
If they’re linked together and you reset, you’ll also lose settings on other units.
What adjustment can I do to see my jigs.
Most the time it’s practice staying in front of the beam. You can turn up your color gain and your regular gain to help make it brighter.
Did you have the lvs 32 or 34 when making this video? Thanks
34
@@CrappieMonster thanks
I think you may have just saved me $1,5000 thank you.
I hope so. Thanks for watching

Which Garmin model is this?
8616
How long have you had the all sync setup? How do you like it?
Around a year. It’s a good product.
Please share again through Text, both Gain and color gain for clear, murky muddy water. Thanks.

I would factory reset the default settings and then go back to the settings from the video. That will usually help.
Probably because you might not have the same unit
@@don-magiclivescope-juan8752 Possible. I have a Garmin 126SV. I have heard that the Echomaps are better for Livescope. Not sure.
Video on how to set your livescope up to find way points.
I can do that. It’ll be a short video so we’ll probably put that on Facebook. Make sure to follow us there.
what unit are you running
That one is a 8616
Will theses settings work just as good on a garmin 1222 unit?
Yes.
When I disable my sonar with the power button my livescope freezes also not sure how to turn off one without the other
Is your side scan and livescope ran to the same unit?
@@CrappieMonster I have 2 units networked together and yes they both show side scan and livescope
Is your graph on the front and console linked with a Ethernet cable. Mine are so if I disable all sonar it disables all sonar even my panoptix.
