Just got a boat that came with the LVS34 and Hummingbird 1198c GPS fishing system and was looking on how to set it up Great job on explaining it to us newbies
I find that having Noise Reject on High makes the image really sluggish and laggy, I find Medium to be the best and most responsive for seeing real time. Also for bass fishing and seeing out 80+ feet, Color Gain is best at around 90. If you end up fishing closer up brush piles (like crappie), then running Color Gain around +5 over your Gain works well. Just some tips from my time using it!
Congrats Nathan on getting your Livescope plus with the LVS34 transducer! I love mine more for finding structure, weed lines, rocks and boulders. I really like perspective mode for when I am on more natural lakes with a lot of weeds mixed with rocks and flats and especially when shallow on super clear water like Lake Simcoe. Hope you do some videos with perspective mode and let us known what you think vs mega 360.
If you knew you're going to do a livescope video, why wouldn't you think of cleaning the screen. Instead, you mentioned it and filmed on a speckled ,dirty screen.

The echomap models doesn’t have screen recording capabilities. Have to go up to the GPS Series. Good starter settings. Thanks
