One of the best reviews I have seen recently. And thanks for actually taking me in the car instead of making me look at your face.
I don't understand why more reviewers don't do that the video is supposed to be about the CAR.

Bill, I’ve been watching you for years now and you finally pushed me to buy a W211 E-Class in silver. It’s a 2007, has had its balance shaft replaced, and has 160k miles but is still running like a clock. The previous owner provided all service records and it was ALWAYS serviced before it’s time. It was always hand washed, highway driven, garage kept, and over all very well taken care of and it took so very long to find. I couldn’t be happier, and it’s so unfortunate I couldn’t travel from Georgia to Naples to come buy it from the Mercedes expert! The E-Class no matter what chassis you get is the best or nothing. It really is Mercedes bread and butter car. Rock solid, reliable, beautiful craftsmanship, and won’t break the bank in terms of maintenance and gas. (At least the M272 engine). It’s been fantastic. Thank you Bill!! And thank you for making me as passionate about Mercedes as you are! You pushed me that extra step to finally follow my life dream of owning an E-Class. The best car in the world!!!

Bill, for some inexplicable reason I watch your channel practically every day, much to the chagrin of my long suffering partner. Anyway I always particularly enjoy your reviews of Mercedes E-Class estates ("wagons"). We used to be fully signed up Volvo owners, primarily because I love 5-cylinder engines and Volvo's infant containment systems are second to none. However, after 8 months of owning a leaky V60 (no good in the UK) I decided to give Mercedes a go. I'm lucky enough to have a mother who knows how to pick her cars well and grew up with a W124 estate (grey exterior, dark navy interior, or white in between vacuuming out golden retriever hairs). She picked the car up for about £8k in 1998 and sold it for £2k about 7 years later; today similar examples regularly sell for £10k, as I like to remind her (she had similar fortunes with a prior Volvo 240). Anyway, as devoted as my partner is to me, purchasing a classic W124 would have lead to the end of our relationship, so I compromised and replaced our Volvo with a beautiful 2015 W212 E350 Bluetec V6 diesel estate. It's in black, it has the attractive (but uncomfortable) AMG specification and has privacy glass, which despite initial reservations, I think absolutely works on this car. Since owning it, I've installed one of the most formidable infant containment systems you're ever likely to see, making it a truly astonishing all round car that I hope (but doubt) will last forever. If I could send some pictures for you, I would, but youtube doesn't seem to allow it.

The color, oh my the color absolutely makes it that much better!
One of my best decisions was buying the W204 C300 4Matic Luxury in Dolomite Brown over Almond. It is, bar none, the classiest daily driver I could ask for. This? I would absolutely love this as a long-haul, long distance driver. Seeing this in my garage alongside the C300 would be wonderful. If only I had an SLK350 to match as well, I’d be the happiest clam alive!

Oh my, excellent vehicle! I wish you could get your hands on a 2015/16 E400 sedan to review. I'm thinkin' that's gonna be my first car ever within like a year. Wish I could swap in that luxury grille and hood ornament though. Love the tail pipes, amg wheels and steering wheel of the sport package but the hell with everything else. I'll take the traditional grille, luxury front bumper and hood ornament any day. Mercedes is nuts making the sport package so prevalent in an attempt to attract younger buyers.. I'm 24 and want the old god help me. Bill, in your experience is there a vast difference as far as ride quality over rough roads between the sport and luxury suspensions?

I gave up looking for one with leather. Ended up with a bmw 3 series m sport wagon to replace our bmw 5 series wagon. Was a tough choice, but the bmw is so fun and has a diesel motor. 44mpg on the road. I miss a larger wagon for the highway, but not in town. As usual, I loved the review. You are the best.

Hey I finally got to see what Bill looks like in the reflection of the car window. This whole time I pictured him as a tall guy in his late 50's with a big stomach who likes to wear Docker sandal's, Khaki shorts, a hat, and golf shirts that are to tight. Or maybe even Hawaiian shirts. But now I see he's totally the opposite.

Currently saving a bit more for a nice used 350. It's crazy that there are these amazingly tech loaded cars at like 30,000 miles for great prices, but people will go out and buy something brand new for similar price and less tech. Guess it's great most americans aren't seeking them...but that does mean we wont get as many from the automotive makers. Oh well

I drove Mercedes and BMW for 35 years. Mercedes always have suspension problems. BMW always has electrical problems. Both compines nickel and dime you to death ! Like $4 to $8 thousand dollars per year. It's annoying. I drive a two year old CTS-V with 87,564 miles on her- she will still kick the ass out of either German brands ! That is the truth.
