I'm 70 years old. I eat a bowl of oatmeal in the morning I rarely if ever eat lunch. And if my body says I'm hungry I will eat something at dinner time around 8 o'clock to nine. I've been a vegetarian for over 15 years now. Well except for when I go to New Orleans all bets are off down there. For the last year I've been walking 4 1/2 miles or one hour every day. I moderate exercise, push-ups pull-ups some dumbbells and a few other things a few times a week. I think I'm in the best shape I've ever been in my life. I've also been telling myself since I was 19 that I'm going to live to 121. Ha ha well I think you have to get your brain ready for that one so I just keep telling myself that. #believe I been forgetting to take my rapamycin. I was taking it weekly. No, Idea if that's often enough to do much. But, figured everything helps a little. Any idea if I'm better off taking it before bed or upon waking? I usually take it before bed. That is when I remember. Also, gotta try eating less often I'm fairly bad at it. I do eat fairly healthy overall. I also take Metformin before bed. As it would make me weak if I took it during activity. I'm going to try NMN again starting today. I tried it once but didn't take it often enough. Didn't notice any difference. Today I been fairly weak. So, I'm hoping it will help with energy. Working nights and odd hours probably doesn't help.
I actually Only take metformin maybe weekly As I was very weak when I took It very often i may take It once on Thursday Night when I do nothing other than relax before I start the night Shift on Friday evenly. Plus, I wonder if Taking less will allow my body to grow and heal better from my workout.

Thank you for an informative lecture. My wife and I reduce from taking 1gm (recommended by Dr Sinclair) to 250mg each of NMN and resveratrol (powder) a day with a small cup of yogurt. Because we both suffer from excessive/embarrassing flatulence. I usually get this when I eat a lot of heavy/greasy food that my stomach can not digest. My wife is extremely lactose intolerant as well (yogurt?) Please help since our doctor haven't even heard of NMN lol. Thank you in advance.

Does Dr. Sinclair have any studies, or tips on Alzheimer's or Parkinson's. My son was just recently diagnosed with parkinson's I would love for him to participate in one of doctors Sinclairs studies. I avoid oxidized vegetable oils, vaccines and walk an hour a day and eat in a six hour window. I never add sugar, but I am not that concerned about it. I'm 75 and a plus five year survivor of liver cancer. Only two percent survive past several months with my comorbidities.
Growing up down the street from Monsanto's chemical plant in Sauget Illinois and continuing to live in the United States has a lot to do with the liver cancer.

Doctors often aren't trained in nutrition or even disease prevention. They are trained in diagnosis and prescription drugs, for the most part. I work in the health field, with preventative care and lifestyle factors, and health care workers like nurses and doctors are often getting in the way of patients health. It's unfortunate, but it's true, in my experience.

I oftenly do these things therefore I can do more work than other individuals and I have low fats and I can do difficult works which are impossible for normal people.
And you are so right, few are inclined to persevere in their goals... unfortunately, because the rewards are plenty; i used the pandemia to lose 60 pounds (218 to 158lbs) in 2 years; my BMI passed from 33 to 22.5, it can be done with OMAD and intermittent fasting...My HbA1C from 6.5 to 4.7... i got the same measurements that when i was 17, pants 38 to 32... i am 70 years old.. born in 52, got to believe! My son was just recently diagnosed with parkinson's I would love for him to participate in one of doctors Sinclairs studies. If of course he is doing any studies on that, or if he can just tell us what the best thing is to do?

I avoid oxidized vegetable oils, vaccines and walk an hour a day and eat in a six hour window. I never add sugar, but I am not that concerned about it.
I'm 75 and a plus five year survivor of liver cancer. Only two percent survive past several months with my comorbidities.
Growing up down the street from Monsanto's chemical plant in Sauget Illinois and continuing to live in the United States has a lot to do with the liver cancer.
Seven years ago I had a quintuple bypass. Almost every day since then I eat four eggs a day. I cook the whites in butter and eat the yolks raw.

I'm disappointed that he fails to mention algae as a good source of long chain omega 3:s.
It's a quite inexpensive supplement, and the algae are grown in sanitary facilities, unlike fish that often contain mercury and other crap.
edit: And he recommends people to "talk to their doctors" about nutrition. Doctors often aren't trained in nutrition or even disease prevention. They are trained in diagnosis and prescription drugs, for the most part. I work in the health field, with preventative care and lifestyle factors, and health care workers like nurses and doctors are often getting in the way of patients health. It's unfortunate, but it's true, in my experience.

And you are so right, few are inclined to persevere in their goals... unfortunately, because the rewards are plenty; i used the pandemia to lose 60 pounds (218 to 158lbs) in 2 years; my BMI passed from 33 to 22.5, it can be done with OMAD and intermittent fasting...My HbA1C from 6.5 to 4.7... i got the same measurements that when i was 17, pants 38 to 32... i am 70 years old.. born in 52, got to believe!
