Andrea you are a special lady. They say third time is a charm. So much you’ve been through. You are Beautiful and Dan is a Stud! You deserve each other. God brought you both together. Wow 6 kids! I had a hard time with one. You both have beautiful kids. You are so strong. Dan is also. Enjoy your life together. Live, Love and Laugh! Thank you for sharing your story. Blessings 🙏😇🥰.
Yes she is. I love her n DAN. HE'S a wonderful guy. To bad there's just one of him, or we could put a order in for another him. When I see him in pain, I actually cry for him. Then I have to stop n that's the hard for me to do. IT'S like I feel his pain n Andrea's pain. When he puts the kids in pain in they're cribs n don't hurt them from moving to do THAT is AMAZING 😍🤩😉😉.
Andrea God doesn't make mistakes you came into Dan's life for a purpose...no one has the right to judge you you are a warrior lady and take it day by day...Like I've said b4 Dan needs you n you need him n d kids are a blessing...
Andrea you are just crushing it as a family. I was married to my sweet heart for 10 amazing years then he passed and I had to raise my daughter without him. When she saw that his fingers didn’t work at 9 months old (he was a quadriplegic C 4-5 but acted like 5-6) she would wait until he had ahold of whatever it was until he could hang on. She never knew anything other than that was her daddy. I met him years after his injury but knew he was the man Heavily Father had meant for me and I for him. It was the most amazing life being together. Not always easy but so wonderful. I miss him every day and it was 22 years since we lost him. He impacted everyone he met in the most positive way❤️. May the Lord continue to bless you all❤️
I'm so sorry for your loss. My husband has been gone 12 years now but it still feels just as bad. I raised our then 10 & 13 year old children alone. I also have Fibromyalgia & CFS and chronic intractable pain 24/7. Life sure throws some difficult things our way. God bless 🙏
Wow I had no idea you had ms. I have Sjögrens, fibromyalgia and chronic Fatigue and I’m barely making it out of bed every day. 6 kids is an amazing blessing and I’m glad you can enjoy them all. I have 26 yo boys and one 10 month old grandson and he wears me out! Whew! Thank you for sharing your story. You are a warrior!!
Wow. Mrs Kotter, your story is a super story indeed. Here we are thinking we are going through stuff. You are really an inspiration. Remain blessed a blessing always.
Andrea, Dan of course is a amazing individual, but maybe when I comment on the Wheelchair posts I don't tell you often enough how much I truly love and 💜 admire you too. You are a purple 💜 heart worthy person. Thanks for sharing your heroic walk 🚶♀️through so many challenges. Thanks Jim for doing this interview 🙏👍.
Love Andrea, Dan and the kids. What a beautiful sweet family they are. They share so much of their lives with everyone and Andrea always takes the time to like and comment back to their fans. I am so sorry for all the bad they’ve been through but I am happy that her & Dan found each other. They complete each other. I pray for them and I’m so happy that they are having so much success with their channel.
Wow! Andrea has MS?? I didn't think I could admire this family more. I have Fibromyalgia which has very similar symptoms to MS. I struggled to raise my two children alone after being widowed & continuing to work full time. Andrea you have my utter admiration. No judgment here. God bless you all. Peace and love from the 🇬🇧 ❤️ 🙏
Life is fragile and can be so easily lost. It is painfully evident that sharing these trials was difficult for you. I appreciate your candid thoughts and tender heart. These podcasts of you and Dan offer rare and endearing insights to lives well lived. Wishing you well as your journey continues. Love Ren 🥰
I am praying for you and your family. My husband had a subarachnoid cerebral hemorrhage in 2012. He was 40 yrs old. He had an aneurysm that burst in the frontal lobe of his brain and it caused a massive stroke. He had to learn how to walk, talk, eat, and many other things all over again. We have 4 children and our youngest at the time was 12 yrs old. When he came home from the hospital, he didn't recognize much of anything and at one time he wasn't even able to speak, for almost 2 months. All of our children unfortunately had to grow up very quickly, because I didn't have any help from family or friends. Our children are amazing and I don't think I could have gotten through it all without them by my side. In 2017 my husband unfortunately had a 2nd stroke(eschemic stroke), which set him even further back in his recovery. He has had over 300 grand mall seizures since the 1st stroke and has been hospitalized multiple times. He has many deficits and each day is something new, be it good or bad, but we get through it with GOD by our side. We are high school sweet hearts and have been married for 32 yrs. I have been his caregiver, and there are times when I want to give up, but then I tell myself that he would do this for me. He's always been a wonderful husband and father. I have diabetes and need a knee replacement soon or I won't be bale to walk much longer, but I've put it off for many reasons. I now know that I need to take care of myself also. Keep staying strong and never give up on your faith in The LORD. You are a strong woman and your children see this. Thank you for sharing your story with us.
I love watching wheelchair Dad and the family. I was in a wheelchair for a year. My husband would laugh at me vacuum cleaning the floors. I had difficulty trying to do house work or move my chair from RA. My husband stated he didn't want to live with a cripple. That hurt my feelings. I forgave him as Jesus has forgiven me. I'm walking again with a new knew but my other knee has to be fixed. I praying for a miracle. I love watching your family and the love you have for each other. Blessings.
Great story, so happy for God's will in your life and happy that your family has a God foundation. When u said if there was anything u want ur kids to remember is that you were a woman of faith.....etc....it struck a nerve with me because I feel the exact same way... it's such a struggle because they grow into adulthood and sometimes the faith isn't front and center anymore for them....but as long as they remember how i lived with Jesus in front and my faith and we think that as long as we are strong our children will be too but sometimes it doesnt stay in front....my kids are all grown but I believe the ones who have set faith aside...It has a chance to survive in this crazy world.....blessings to u and for all your hardships and decisions of the past be at peace ..much love ❤️ to you and Dan and the children many blessings
she did what was needed to do. she talked with the heavenly crew on the direction to go to be the best for her and the family. And still needed love for all. and he is doing everything that a husband and father should do to keep a family together. and she does what ever needs to be done.
Estheir from lndia (80 yrs) I'M BLESSED AND ENCOURAGED BY THIS LINK, SPECIALLY COZ U R A WOMAN OF FAITH AND U DON'T HIDE IT, WHICH I'M SURE HAS HELPED MANY 2 BE BOLD IN THEIR SPIRITUAL WALK. I GIVE THE LORD ALL THE GLORY 4 YR LOVELY FAMILY AND I WANT 2 BLESS EACH OF U IN THE NAME OF YESHUA HAMESHIACH.
How fantastic to see that Andrea has the chance to put across the journey&challenges that she has faced to get to where her&the family are today as we all see in the "wheelchair dad videos". Brilliant pod cast Jim the way it was done with no pressure or skirtng around stuff. Well done for covering so much. All in all good job. Blessings to all
I am also an Air Force brat. My dad was a pilot. My twin and I were born in Munich Germany. We moved 18 times in 33 years. We lived in Japan for 5 years where a second set of twins and a singleton were born. We moved state side several times and then we moved to Turkey for 4 years. By the time my dad retired , after serving 33 years our family would grow to 11 siblings including a 3rd set of twins. I sure miss all the traveling. We had a wonderful childhood and memories.
How brave to share such a personal story with the world. That just shows how open hearted you are and what a good person you are. And no one should judge another person, because only the one who was in this situation, only the one who had this experience can really understand what it means to be in such an experience. So hats off to your courage to master your life in this way. Bravo! I wish you and your family the best. 😊☀️❤️
She is a truly amazing person and I wish her and her family all the love and happiness in the world. You deserve to be happy and I wish you all the best for the future 😊😊😊
Andrea, only God could judge. You did what you had to do in your situation. You were in a very difficult situation and had to make some hard choices. Having to deal with all you had to deal with as well as having MS, you are a WARRIOR!!! God bless you and Dan and may you both live your best lives together, forever.. God Bless you and your beautiful family.💞💞💞
Thank you Jim! I am so glad you did this! I knew Andrea was a strong lady, today you allowed her to be titanium!!! No one can fault her for letting her second husband go, I was an Air Force medic and I know about TBI’s, unfortunately the person is not the same after, and every case is totally different, so in Andreas second husband case it sounds like she was no longer his. So instead of staying in what would have turned out to be a bad marriage, she had to set them both free, totally understandable!!! Again thank you Jim!
When heard about your second husband’s tbi and how it affected you any your relationship, I was touched. I’ve commented on another one of your posts. I am a severe tbi survivor married to another tbi victim. I know tbi’s often change a person and I understand why you had to separate from him.
I’m sure your story and videos are reaching those who need. I came across this morning….. didn’t know how much I needed to see and feel them. Truly. I think I’ll get up today, and instead of stress, just love those I do have. Thank you. Hearts of gold.
Thanks for sharing your story! Please continue keeping your faith, God will guide you and your family through any kind of hardship! May God Bless you all!
You're a wonderful person you have endured a lot you stuck by your husband's side and your children the blessings of God to you now and always you're a warrior
Wow, Andrea! You are such a beautiful soul and thank you for sharing such intimate details about you and Dan's journey. Yall and your family are a huge inspiration and again I thank you!
Just to add..my sister too has MS and I see firsthand how taxing that is on her and I commend your strength and perseverance ♡ much love to u you and your family! Ps. Our middle sister's name is Andrea as well!
Just finished watching this Podcast and enjoyed it! Andrea is wonderful. Hearing her side of how she and Dan met was inspiring. Now to get Dan's take! I was expecting to hear that Dan rolled over her foot and that's how they met! Andrea found her way to Dan in a round-about way, sometimes that happens; But they found their way to each other! Now on to the next Vid!
I wish Dan had been wearing a safety harness when he was working on that house and he had that fall .....but then you two would not have met. I am glad you both are happy and loving life. I just hope you can find help for the pain Dan has to deal with. Bless you and your family. ❤ ❤ ❤
Hello I have to say so great that you sheared your story of your beginning as I have Chron's and my family doesn't undersand understand when I just need a break I have a friend that her daughter has MS so I can relate to your situation. I bless you on how strong you are and how well you are doing. Please take care and thanks again.
awesome interview with both Andrea & Dan. such wonderful parents to a great group of children. all so loving … they certainly did something right!!!!! by the way Jim i’m a new subscriber.. gonna start binge watching your podcast interview s thanks and great job!!
It is so inspiring to see you, Dan and the children do what you do. And especially that you let God take control. Indeed we see God’s miracles in this wonderful family’s life.
Beyond inspiring. The things so many take for granted this truly humbles you. God definitely was there to intervene & put them together & still provides the strength & faith to nurture each other & their family.
Thank you for sharing your story. It is a humbling and inspirational story that causes one to think about life and what is most important about it. You and Dan are wealthy...having faith in God, patience, love, strength and perseverance through all your challenges are the things you've built your foundation upon. These intangible qualities instilled in your children will be an asset in their lives. I pray that God bless you and your husband's health, and that you are blessed with the desires of your heart. Love you. ❤❤❤🙏❤❤❤
Andrea and Dan really are AMAZING.😊😊 At one point I wanted to donate my eggs for a WOMAN bc I was throwing EGGS around n I thought, let me give a childless COUPLE some joy. So I went to a hospital and asked how do they get the eggs. Well after hearing the process I chickened OUT. They were disappointed but...I DIDN'T want that pain involved with the extraction of the eggs.
This amazing woman and Dan are so Inspirational couple I love waking up to see them smile and the pain part I'd love to take his pain and let him run around with his little family I'd take it for this family so lovely the kids also 😍😍😍😍🤩🤩
I feel two ways about this. Its good shes happy and has done the best for her children, esp if husband no 2 was unfaithful. But I can’t help wondering if he wonders where she’s gone, if he’s capable of wondering that and if his son ever goes to see him or thinks about him. It just seems heartbreaking to me for him to be in a home, having lost his family. Part of the marriage vows is in sickness and health and I wonder if Dan were to need full time care in a similar way, whether he would be left.
Thanks for sharing. A truly amazing atory and looks like God's hand was involved. I am totally aware of both of your disabilities. I am so glad you are there for each other. God bless y'all.
Ur amazing women. You both came so far. And ur love stroy amazing and how ur family growing with lots of love for each other and the kids……. It takes a strong women to do this kind of stuff not many do you would do this. I would if I had to but I never had to experience that. I’m very proud of you both such amazing couple and parents. God brought you both together for a reason. And it’s a beautiful stroy . ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Third time's a charm they say ...Andrea good luck to u & Dan Our heavenly father brought u together I truly believe this it was fate for both of u ...🙏✝️❤️
If someone is unfaithful you need to go. If someone says otherwise its an cheater. You did the right decision i wish you both and your kids the best :) searching for an paypal fonation link but dont find it. If someone has it pls send it. Thank you :)
Very nice comment. In the description under THEIR videos, it gives lots of information...the page on RUclips is called "The Wheelchair Dad".. Thank you! Blessings ✨️
I totally get it! My husband is amazing and not defined by his disability or his wheelchair 😊. However, when Dan was injured 9 years ago, he sat in his hospital bed and searched the internet for anything to give him hope that life could still be worth living after being paralyzed. He found NOTHING inspiring. He felt extremely hopeless. Our dream has been to put content out there that shows newly injured people (and anyone else) that there IS hope and lots of life that can be lived after tragedy. In order to reach those people that NEED our videos, I have to put the words “paralyzed” and “wheelchair” right up front so that the RUclips algorithm, Google, etc. show it to those searching with those words. So, “The Wheelchair Dad” works perfect for what our goals are. ❤️
Yes I totally agree with you. Dan is showing us every day how to be “differently abled”. In order to make it easier for those searching for hope and help (in coping with being wheelchair bound/ paraplegic), Andrea and Dan purposely use those very words to facilitate finding their channel. Hope this helps you. 😊
@@TheWheelchairDad I understand that and am not downing you for using it. I hope you didn't take it that way. You have a great family and are very blessed. I don't think I could handle things as well as you guys.

Love you. ❤❤❤🙏❤❤❤
absolutely amazing
Isn't it funny how God gives us what we need, instead of what we want. When he closes a door he opens a window🪟. Bless you both!💕
Thanks for sharing. ✖️
Amen, Andrea!
Kudos💕💕
Andrea and Dan really are AMAZING.😊😊 At one point I wanted to donate my eggs for a WOMAN bc I was throwing EGGS around n I thought, let me give a childless COUPLE some joy. So I went to a hospital and asked how do they get the eggs. Well after hearing the process I chickened OUT. They were disappointed but...I DIDN'T want that pain involved with the extraction of the eggs.
This amazing woman and Dan are so Inspirational couple I love waking up to see them smile and the pain part I'd love to take his pain and let him run around with his little family I'd take it for this family so lovely the kids also 😍😍😍😍🤩🤩
Haha my son met his fiancé by running over her foot at summer camp lol i love watching this adorable family
Dear Andrea, DO NOT listen to the judgeMENTAL people out there. They DID NOT walk in your shoes, and they are not GOD. You have a beautiful family. 💞
A beautiful love story 🙏❤🙏
Very strong woman and loving wife
I hate the name "Wheelchair Dad". He is much more than the damn chair!
As Andrea told some time before she wanted people to find the vlog through the word wheelchair. It’s not to define Dan.
