Did the Flex Saw impress you?
Yes
they have a inline saw that I really like. the engineering alone is very cool
Very much so. I use it all the time. Vibration control is just incredible.
Yes no pilot holes! 🤣
I've been very happy with it. Easy to cut straight lines and as others have said, very low vibration. It's also fairly quiet for a circular saw, some are obnoxiously loud.
I used mine to take out some flooring in a house with a crawl space. Cutting through carpet, padding, subflooring, decades of sand that filtered through the carpet, all that junk, in a single operation. It burned through the battery faster than I expected (but the rapid charger had it back up in about an hour), the pipe did clog up quite a bit, and the blade guard got stuck in the open position (like the return spring could be stronger). It was a beast for sure, but not indestructible. For general use, my favorite saw remains the Flex 6.25" rear handle.
This is saw is REAL NAS LIKE! I been eyeing those flex tools for a while. They look quality and feel like they got power to back up their mouth.
24 volts is 24 volts. Power is nothing without control and Flex does a good job of tuning it. A Zimmermann from Schaumburg Germany
Its a pity they don't sell their range in Australia. Hopefully one day they will. That's a NASS LIKE review too brother!! Keep up the great videos.
I just bought a set with the regular flex circular saw, and even running it with a 3.5ah stacked cell battery, it absolutely EATS! Even better with the 6ah battery. It cuts better than any plug in saw I’ve used. The thing is absolutely effortless.
Appreciate the feedback brother
Flex Saw: I'm definitely impressed.
OK I LOVE this saw flex is killing it across the board no doubt!! I've been putting this saw up against everything that comes my way for about 5 months now. And when I strapped on a masonry blade and made a few cuts across a slab of quartz was the ultimate test for me so far. That sliced that quartz like butter with eeez I must say. But on my third cut I killed the 10ah stacked battery for the first time so I knew I had finally exhausted this beast of a rear handle. Great saw. Oh and my first rear handle too
Appreciate the awesome feedback 👊👊👊
Rear Handle Vid!!! You know I’m there! This is going to be awesome
🤣👊
FLEXing their relationship to SKILSaw. Really cutting into the competition.
Also saw that a 250k celebration is not too far off 🎉🎉🎉
Haha, my main man Dan always on point. Also, at this rate, should only take 5 more years to hit the 250k brother 🤣👊
Looks like a very smooth saw 🪚 real smooth like👊✌️👍
Good sounds great work. Woodworking 👍
Just two months ago, I decided to start upgrading my prosumer stuff. I went with Flex and I am super glad I did. Maybe it's my imagination, but the stacked lithium is really a thing in your hands. Money, but they're money on the job. Happy to see "my team" gettin' good reviews!
They are legit bro. I was even shocked with how well the tools performed
@@ToolReviewZone
That you weren't a fan at first (understatement :-) says something about the tools... and you as an honest reviewer.
Rock on, brutha
I can't remember a company shaking up the power tool world like this
It's really exciting to see this brother
Idk I have seen a single flex in use. I see dewalt and Milwaukee 99% of the time on the job, makita, ridgid, but no flex.
@@Glados1080 wait until summer next year, once they release a few more tools it'll take over by storm, I spent 3k on all my flex tools, storage and accessories. Everyone always asks to "lemme try that sh*t" and then all of all of a sudden, they quit talking about their milwaukee and start asking questions about flex
@@Glados1080 I work at a power plant and everyone has Milwaukee and dewalt when they saw my flex tools it was like seeing a ufo lol a lot of them are planning to switch over to flex now after seeing it beat everything else
As a NFFB ( new FLEX fan boy), eventually Acme Tools and Ohio Power Tools will no longer be able to satisfy your needs - whenever you drive by a Lowe's you will be mysteriously and uncontrollably drawn into their tool section. THE POWER OF FLEX COMPELS YOU! LOL! Great video!
Hahaha, NEVER!!@@ 🤣🤣👊👊
My saw I just picked at Lowes came with a “new tech” battery---a ROCK IN THE BOX THE BATTERY WAS SUPPOSED TO BE IN. The factory pack came with the saw-no charger, the “rock” battery, blade no case or charger-going to take it back to Lowes tomorrow. Figure both Lowes and I got flim-flamed. So if you get one if these-check your pack contents as you unpack-SAVE YOUR RECEIPT! NEVER had this sort of thing happen before. Have Flex tools-no problems there.
That's crazy. I've had something like that happen to me before
I returned the rock battery saw this morning-was able to get the full kit this time. Unpacked the kit at the store. This time the box contained the saw, blade, manuals, actual battery and a charger as well as the carrying case. Charged the battery-tried the saw what a MONSTER of a saw-this thing wants wood to eat! The carrying case easily holds the saw, charger and battery. There are pockets on the case side to hold extra blades and the manuals. VERY nice piece of machinery from Flex!
I own the Flex rear handle circular saw and it it smooth and a beast. I own a lot of flex tools and you can call me the Flexanator!
Haha, I like the name 😎👊. Appreciate the feedback BND
Flex is impressive no doubt about it…I’m pretty invested in Milwaukee and my saws are Dewalt but no getting around the power of the Flex line..pretty much every top Flex offering is the most powerful in class, recipe saw, top impact, circ saw..great review Clint, appreciate it.
And I appreciate the comment James 👊👊👊
Don't forget their Hammer Drill as well (the one w/ the Turbo). Thing is ridiculously powerful. I own 19 Milwaukee cordless power tools, all high end models but i have already started investing in the Flex line. I bought the Rear Handle Saw Kit w/ the 10ah stacked lithium and the hammer drill kit w/ the 6ah stacked lipo and i love both of them.
@milwookie8558 lol I had mine on #2 with turbo, not paying attention... had a paddle mixer attached to mix a 100 gallon drum of paint. Barely a pull of the trigger and not only did paint go flying, it managed to sheer off one of the paddles of a nearly new paddle mixer. Never seen that before. 😶
I’m right there with you bud. I cracked jokes about Mike the plumber and Barnaby. I guess in a way I felt intimidated for the Flexvolt because it was the most beastly powerful saw at the time. Not the smoothest cut but definitely a beast. Flex just keeps knocking it out of the park. The power is there for days. I put my pride to the side😂 and tried Flex tools and haven’t looked back since. At the end of the day use what you want but I’ll be Flexin for awhile longer💯✊🤣😎. Great video as always brother. As a single Dad and concrete finisher my time is scarce😂 but I always make time for a TRZ vid. Take care Clint✊
My brotha Impact Nation in the house. Appreciate the comment and feedback brother
Flex looks like what I wish was available 10 years ago😮. Go get’m young’ns.
Funny my dad was just saying that the other day haha he’s like you wouldn’t have been able to give me a cordless saw 10 years ago as he’s just ripping cuts like nobodies business.. it was pretty funny to see actually.
Got this saw for $50. Works great. I didn't even need a new saw but for that price I had to try it
Wow! How did you score that awesome price
Found it on craigslist. They sold me the charger for $20 and an 8ah battery for $70.
sounds like you got some wood from using this saw, lol. just picked one up today, very excited. I have flexes other circular saw but on sale for 199 with that 10 AH stacked battery. it was kind of a no-brainer to try this one
Started with a Flex drill - then flex sawzaw then oscillating tool then the grinder and flood light. I have yet to find anything but praise for this stuff. The grinder - you can move the guard on the fly to adjust for the job. No other tool I know of does that. No tools required. Just turn it. No vibration either. Have to try that saw now!
Appreciate the feedback brother
The Milwaukee M18 fuel angle grinder has an toolless adjustable guard.
@@joet3935 I have to say it's a really cool feature. My old Dewalt did not have that. It was a royal pain to adjust it.
Got the drill and driver, then oscillating tool. Use them every day with gratitude. Grinder next and maybe, just maybe the rear handle. As a right hander, I like a left mounted blade. I hear great things about the recip saw's vibration control.
Keep in mind that it is 24V so it gives you much more power plus the stack provides a wide spread area of discharging faster.
Cool Clint 👍
Jamal 👊👊👊
Very awesome video! That saw looks awesome it looks like the guard moves out of the way must better then the rigid saw and you where only using the stock blade that came with it, and it was still slicing and dicing it way though that 6x6 looks like a real game changer!
I really was expecting the same this as always Lukas. Figured it would do ok ut dayuuum, it's amazing
Cheap cutting blades don’t work on this monster it just ripps the teeth off with the speed it has😮💨
"Don't call Don Shipley on me..." hahahaha!!! Classic!
You know, I don't need a circ saw. That was part of the complete upgrade overhaul I did to my tool closet last year. I watch these videos JUST because of shit like that. You are hilarious, dude!
When Flex comes out with a track saw, I might switch my tools to Flex.
Over the last month while on sale I have bought Newest Turbo Hammer Drill and Driver kit
The full size Zip saw kit
Multi speed Paddle switch grinder
REAR HANDLE CIRCULAR SAW
AS YOU NOW KNOW AMAZING!
2.5amp / 2x 5ah / 3.5ah & 6ah & 10ah STACKED LITHIUM batteries
Vacuum
Fan
All with lifetime Warranty
This is replacing my Ridgid tools
Keepomy newer Dewalt due to their starched battery system. If they do not get bigger soon they will be replaced also. Thanks for your reviews and Spence of humor. 😀😀
Appreciate the feedback brother
It's the Ultimate saw, bar none!
YES THZ IZ THE ULT TMATT CERCSAW 2023 USA🇺🇸⚡️⚡️🗽
So I broke down and bought me one of these today! $299 on sale at Lowes for the 10 AH kit. Yeah I'm a year late to the game lol!
All that with the stock blade, and the FLEX logo doesn't even seem to wear off!
That's kinda funny you mentioned that. I left the stock blade on just to see what it would do, and I was shocked with performance
That saw needs a Snickers 😜 Flex is in it to win it bro
Hahahahaha Howie 🤣
That's one amazing saw & price to boot for that 1-million-volt batt-ray!!!!!!!!! It must be that much to make that many cuts, that must be what stacked means on dem batt-rays. Ooom man I like dat Tang, that's space rocket juice for the younger crowd, LOL!!!! Thanks for showing this one my friend that's one more great saw you're showing us for real.
Most of us would have to save save save up for it but man it's nice no doubt. Most saws I've seen & used may get 4 to 3 cuts from it before start slowing down unless a 24v saw.
Haha, thanks brother
How about an LVL? Just got my first tool set, the FLEX drill/impact combo and loving them so far. Getting this worm drive tomorrow.
I'm super impressed man. That dust shoot is stooopid amazing. All with the stock blade?!?! Yeah, I'm not in the market for a new rear handle saw. Mine works great. I would pick one up otherwise.
Hahaha, as someone mentioned, the famn blade never even lost the paint 🤣
@toolreviewzone how does the Xgt rear handle compare to the flex? Thanks in advance
NOOICE!
Good video I'd practice cuts by cutting like you do now!slice alot in a row till u don't need a line any more is good idea
Thatsss realllll nassss like
Can you do a review on the flex inline saw
What's your opinion on the Flex vs the Skil 2x20V rear handle saw? I haven't found any reviews or videos comparing the 2. Maybe you could be the first?
It sounds like you’re in a committed relationship with this saw now. I had dreams of the makita gnome and the flex freak causing mayhem together on your channel and being your arch nemesis’s. You’re breaking my m18 heart and making my red lithium blood boil now. 😂 Seriously though, that’s a bad ass saw.
Hahaha 🤣👊
The Flex saw is amazing, I have one and it just is crazy powerful. But I also have the Flexvolt rear handle and it (in my opinion) has more torque in harder wood. So if Dewalt updates it like their new impact wrenches then we might get a true battery replacement of a worm drive. Thanks for putting out these reviews by the way.
Awesome feedback brother. The 60v dewalt is still the closest to this bad boy
@toolreviewzone please try and review the Flex 6 1/2 inline circ saw, thank u and love all your content brotha!
Another Honest Review 👊...kinda sad that new Rigid keeps clogging up, imagine trying to do a cut and follow the line. That dust was everywhere 😅
It's was pretty irritating to see that happen so quickly brotha
Flex: I'm impressed.
I'll be honest brother, I wasn't expecting this
@@ToolReviewZone I think I have (4) circular saws so I definitely do not need a 5th.
Hahaha, I think you're covered for a while Ron 🤣👊
Which is better the FLEX or the MAKITA XGT 40 ?
Looks like we need a flex and DeWalt flex volt tool dual!!!!!!
Are the new batteries that Ryobi are coming out with stacked, or do you know? Within the last year are so I bought into that brand, because most of the things I do are DYI. Do you think the new batteries will make a difference with their saw considering the price difference?
Haven't heard anything for ryobi releasing stacked. The new 8 and 12ah are 21700 cells
😳💥💥💥💥💥
Flex vs Milwaukee rear handle next
Flex Flex Flex Flex Reallll Nassss ike
🤣🤣
Really the only thing to upgrade on most tool is the bat-ray so every other tool company will have to innovative to strong bat-ray.
I might have to try it now 😭
I hate to day it brother, but I was wrong when I said they didn't look like anything different when the came out. I'm sorta eating my words
@@ToolReviewZone Takes a Big Man to admit he was wrong 🍻💯👍😎
It just hurts sometimes 😪😪🤣👊
How much does it weigh
Yo trz can we get a vs between this the skilsaw and the flexvolt
Yep 👊🤟😎
Any idea if Flex tools will be made available in the UK? Also, how about a face off between this and the Dewalt rear handle saw? Flex vs. Flexvolt. Sounds like a damn monster movie!
Damn I didn't know they didn't have flex in the UK that sucks
Absolutely will do the tool duel between those two saws. As for the UK, not sure.... but I'll try to find out
I'd love to see that Flex be put up against the Makita 40 volt rear handle I'd actually be very much interested to see the outcome on what your opinion would be
Ok, I'll do it 👊
Toolbox buzz did a rear handle circular saw review that included the 18 V X 32 Makita and the 40 V Makita not much difference in power from the 40 V to the 32 V.
Put them in a triple box with Skill, let’s see them all side by side ( Ala wack off Wednesday) @novicelumberjack
I would like you or vcg construction put this flex up against Dewalt 577 sexy flexy.
These saws are similar, I'm saying to myself, is flex an arm of Dewalt?
that's real nass like.
Whaaaaaa!?!?!?
I heard the new rear handle skilsaw is a beast and flex and skil are made by same company
It is and they are. I did a video on the rear handle as well. Amazing saw
Are you listening Milwaukee?
Don’t forget Kobalt has a nailer. Sold in store only tho.
8:24 plot twist, the flex faceoff was 100% legit
Wait…. Hold up…. TRZ ❤ FLEX
TRZ ❤BIG BLUE TOO?
I know bro, I know 😪🤣
As a plumber I have no use for that but the video was good
I need one , was running a corded saw yesterday.. and it wasn’t Real Nass like
I'll never buy corded again brother. No need to with the tools they put out today
Their tools are pretty awesome, they don't sell them where I am though :(
Hopefully they expand out ragnarok
I wonder what Milwaukee is gonna do? Even switching to pouch cell batteries isn’t gonna equal the same watts at comparable amp hours, they’re really kinda screwed. Hopefully I’m wrong but to me Milwaukee’s only options are to concede to flex or come out with a new platform, neither of which I’m sure they want to do.
Between Ego, Skil, Kobalt, and Flex, Chervon is really really bringing the heat to all the other manufacturers. I’d love to be a fly on the wall in Ryobi, Ridgid, Hart, and Milwaukee’s board meetings right about now.
Milwaukee has nothing to be worried about, they dominate the market, as a plumber I’ve never seen a flex tool on a job site, I work hand and hand with carpenters and electricians on a regular basis
@@glenarseneau4796 For now….
Haha, yeah.... they are definitely a threat to the big dogs on the block for sure. I believe Milwaukee is looking into the stack batteries, but hopefully sooner rather than later
@@ToolReviewZone From my perspective, Milwaukee has been very technology forward in many ways. However, clinging to traditional cylindrical cell technology, regardless of size of cell, is not one of those ways. A 12AH Milwaukee pack has the same energy content as a 10AH Flex pack when measured at their true nominal voltage. However the pouch cells in the Flex pack likely can discharge at much greater rates so the instantaneous power available to do work is probably still better on the Flex packs with pouch cells. If Milwaukee keeps their 18v architecture, which I hope they do, they will always have to maintain a 20% greater amp hour capacity to Flex just to be on parity with watts available to do work. That’s going to mean bigger and heavier packs, wiring (granted that won’t be noticeable in power tool form), motors, electronics, and everything else simply because they have to pull more amps to keep up. Any way you look at it, Flex has the upper hand with only one exception, and that is Milwaukee’s extensive experience in optimizing and design. The future looks very interesting indeed.
Hi Guys!!! I'm curious about Flex tool and StackPack reliability over several years when compared to Milwaukee. And, how good is Flex tool repair support?
That first run...no comparison. Flex has more power hands down. Num, num, num, num, nummmmmmmm.
You better keep feeding that flex. Lol
Hahaha, num, num num 🤣👊
I bought into the Flex line and I've only had one issue, their multi tool uses a proprietary star lock blade. The flex blades are stupid expensive or you'll have to spend an extra $50 to get an adapter that allows you to use the blades all the other brands use (significantly less expensive). That's my one and only gripe with Flex tools so far
They are rebranded Bosch blades that’s why they are so much.
Need to compare to Makita 36v
Tool review zone send it to so i can try it ok like always smashing my like botton katakaboooooooooooooooom
I wonder if this guy actually uses the tools in big jobs for while before reviewing them not just little cuts here n there
Tool review zone send me that circular saw flex i need one an i Will smash my like botton like always katakaboooooooooooooooom
In the mail brother....KABOOOOOM!
Is it more powerfull than the Dewalt?
Believe it or not, yes it is. The Flexvolt rear handle was my hands down favorite.... before I tried this
“Expected”
I think my Makita XGT rear handle could cut just as good if not better, but never used the flex either.
I have the 40v. I'll do a head to head
@@ToolReviewZone I'm sure they both cut really sweet. That 10 1/4 XGT is a beast too but it may bankrupt you cutting all that wood up!
Almost looked like it was too easy to cut the wood. Maybe need to find the gnarliest knot you can, cough... The top piece at Lowe's...cough
I'm curious what the performance of their top handle with the stacked LiIon is compared to the rear.
Haven't tried the side winder. The treated 2x6 had a few nasties in it. Smoooooth cuts
is dewalt going out of business ?
Na, the have stacked batteries as well just need some bigger sizes. They also have the 69v flex volts that are real nass like
Me thinks I might buy the Flex Left blade saw with the 10aH Kit over the left blade Skil WORM drive Kit if the price is lower!, like the swivel dust port on the Flex, put a shop vac on that ALWAYS, sawdust is a hazard to your lungs!
95 thousannn Doooollla, thats sir is NOT REAL NASSS LIKE!!!
Hahaha, definitely not real nass like Angel 🤣🤣👊
This really affected your no-no square, didn't it? 🤣🤣🤣

Mine stops cutting before completing the cut... even on a 2x3. Unfortunately I lost my receipt and eventhough I registered before 30 days of purchase, no dice on that lifetime warranty... or even a 90 day in my case. I bought it but never used it until just before 90 days roughly. No way mine could cut like this guy's does. Pretty irritated for what their tools cost. Unfortunately I didn't have a receipt for half of what I own from them as they were gifts from my wife. Should've got the receipts from her. Be warned guys! Especially when you want to replace your leaking batteries.
All these rear handle saws look identical. Flex, ridgid, metabo, skilsaw...
I’m sure it’s a great saw but if you’re gonna compare it against another saw they should probably both have cylindrical cells. Obviously you can test it however you want but you’re intentionally adding a variable. at the very least run the flex with both Cylindrical and stacked. It would give people a better barometer of the actual saws performance.
Was going to Smeeeesh the like button but then that thing popped on screen using those made up marketing wank terms like "prosumer" 🤮🤮🤮🤮 every tool on the market from Lowe's and the big orange box are professional grade tools. Some are more powerful, some are built better but at the end of the day they all do the same thing and are built in one of 2 or 3 buildhouses. Pick a color, spend your money. Ryobi HP for life
