- I will be performing live on NBC this Tuesday, August 23rd on Americas Got Talent. For this round, I brought even more gear west so it was decided that driving across the country might be the best way to get it all there. Once we hooked up a trailer and began loading, a few other comfort items were added to the pack and our trip to AGT turned into a full-on road trip adventure including stops anywhere that sounded interesting and didn’t take us too far off course.
I’m asking that you please take the time to watch and vote on Tuesday since that is what determines which 2 out of 11 acts go on to the final round. There is an AGT official app that can be found for your phone and you can also vote with any device at nbc.com/agtvote - It's my understanding that you can award up to 10 votes to each of the contestants but the voting ONLY TAKES PLACE for about 8 hours after the live show. The results are announced Wednesday night on the live results TV show. I think they ask for an email address but I also think you can vote from more than one device. If you have voted before and have any insight to more of the details, feel free to put them in the comments!
AGT really has been an all around positive experience so far and I’d love to get one more performance on the show sometime in September. I know a lot of you have been supporting my musical journey for years and regardless of what happens, I'll be making music the ways I always have and can't wait to release more of the songs I've been writing and recording.
I’m 18 years old and I’m a professional musician, songwriter & artist based out of Nashville. I play lots of instruments but the ones that I’m hired to play most often are drums, cajon and bass. I’ve been posting music related videos on RUclips since I was 9 years old and began playing professionally at 14. I’ve always loved music and I’m grateful that it’s also become how I now make a living. This channel started as a combination of my fascination with drums and RUclipsrs and it’s now turned into a much larger music and music business diary. My goals haven’t changed all that much over the years and stay pretty simple. I’d love to keep making music and hope to keep getting better at it.

Mia, Chester Thompson was a mentor or consultant?! He's incredible; saw him with Genesis a few times. A friend of mine went to Guitar Institute in LA where guitarists like Al di Meola would stop in to teach a workshop.

i just wanna say that im 14 i have started playing bass guitar a year ago and started listening to a lot of progressive and heavy rock (i love it so much!) and really wanted to i learn not just bass but other instruments like the drums, electric guitar, and piano!! ur such an inspiration at esp quite a young age (with very very catchy songs). u rlly inspired me to just get some garbage cans/plastic boxes with some sticks and just learn by myself! seriously tysm i hope you sucessfully can reach ur dreams :))
i love to hear that music inspires you and thank you. it's easy to work at something you love and that combination is it's own reward and a really good way to get good as well. Rock on :)

The trail blazing journey across America is a great way to head to AGT and show the world your skills.
Those of use who have followed you for a long time already know how super talented you are, and how hard you work to make your outstanding music as well as help make others sound better too.
May the positive experiences continue for you, for a long time to come Mia. First with AGT and then well into the there after too.
I am so looking forward to all the music you have been working on, yet to be released, but I have to say, if that needs to be put on hold for further AGT obligations, so be it. Let it be so, if that is what is right for you.
Thanks for sharing this part of your journey with us Mia, Please may you be the person up front in music for decades, before leading hikes instead. What ever you have planned for AGT this week, have a blast. I already know its something amazing, because you don't do anything less.

Awesome you visited Albuquerque, New Mexico. The weather has been fantastic. I was out in Minnesota last week and whenever I mentioned Albuquerque all the locals could come up with was Bugs Bunny and 'I knew I should have taken that left turn in Albuquerque.' Good luck! I miss the drum cover videos but your music is much better.

Hey MM! Thanks for the travel vlog. ..I've been out I-40 all the way to Long Beach and up to San Jose and Frisco via I-5, nothing like it until you've experienced it first hand ... Cameras never translate on pictures, the lack of depth just kills it, video did very well though at the Western rim ...the GC is amazing and a little daunting that they let you walk right up to the point of no return...can't lie I was saying...Mia,. .. Mia, MIA!,... that's far enough, lol. It's awesome that your folks get to experience this with you, you are so very blessed, never underestimate the value of that!!! I live in AZ. Been to the Grand Canyon once. But I get it! You just can't believe it's real. It's like somebody painted a portrait and you're just looking at the portrait. Your brain just doesn't accept that what's in front of you is really as vast as it is. Crazy. Nice to see you out and about. Knock 'em dead!

That was an awesome video, I remember doing a Contiki tour all over the u.s. and visited most of those places, and the Grand Canyon was just breathtaking, I won't say what happened in Vegas, I hope you have an awesome time on Tuesday and get through to another round. Take care

Cool Vlog Neighbor!! I made a similar trip to Vegas a few years ago to watch my daughter bowl in the national tournament. I also stopped at Cadillac Ranch and tagged a couple RUclipsrs I was following. (This was before you.) I also stopped in Arizona for a Cub's spring training game. 😁
Anyway I'm heading toward Syracuse tomorrow to the New York State Fair to watch PLUSH on Wednesday. Leaving early so I'm there in time to watch you Tuesday night. Mia! Videos! There's like a million of them! ... but ... out of interest I thought I'd look back at some of your really early stuff. Looked at a few and that was enough to confirm what I already think. 'The Pretender' cover clinched it I think.OK soooo ... Yes you were a squeaky 11 year old (aren't they all at that age! 🤔) but boy when you picked up the drum sticks and started to play you are just possessed and transformed. 😲So what do I personally look for in a star out here that I follow and how does Mia the Magnificent measure up? 1. Talent ... check ... gotta have that ... and you have a lot and probably got at least a double dose when they handed it out 2. Originality ... check ... all round magician with instruments, songwriting and vocals ..one of the best 3. Personality ... check ...so sparkling .. you love what you do so much and most importantly you have never lost the youngster inside and that amazing sense of joy, humour and that winning smile! 4. Stage presence ... check ... is it someone you watch and forget their act and their name 5 minutes later? ... Mia you light it up every time and definitely unforgettable 💡 ⭐ and... last but not least ... 5. Makes me want to watch and listen to more, to "like". and to subscribe rather than just getting a 'Meh' and moving on ... oh yes indeed ... that's a double check. So I know I'm a nobody but you're a star in my book! Mia, you are brilliant, such a pleasure to watch and listen to ... born to bring the music and the love. Thank you so much ⭐💕
