Lg Steelo you never heard of dual citizenship
Lg Steelo he’s clearly saying a Jamaican that lives in Sweden . We have Jamaican-Americans , as well as Jamaican- any other country 🤯
@@lgsteelo2142 Haha.. I sound stupid you say?
Lg Steelo YOUR RUDENESS EXPOSED your IGNORANCE! Obviously the person means JAMAICANS living in Sweden OR even BORN there with Jamaican parents! #SwedishJamaicans
I just made this and it was BOMB! I don’t use gelatin so I used chia seeds instead. They worked perfectly for soaking up the extra juice and holding the mixture together. The flavors were incredible! My kids loved it so much they put up with the heat. Lol! This will definitely be in our rotation. Thankyou
I’m not Jamaican but this is literally the best thing on the planet 👍🏽😻
Would like to see your take on ackee and saltfish.
Made this today, used Lard and Butter instead of beef suet, and added Oyster sauce to the Beef, turned exceptionally well.
Thank you, my first Jamaican dish
Love being Jamaican. My school cafeteria is run by a patty chain here.😁😁
Glad unuh get a Jamaican fi duh dis.
I'm laughing at the fact that I can understand this due to my Jamaican heritage. 😂
Nate The Boi I'm pretty sure everyone can understand this whether or not you have a Jamaican heritage.
@@cockroachbuddy8886 y u do him like that, lol
@@cockroachbuddy8886 Fair enough lmao. Yea you're probably right about that. However, you'll be surprised how many people struggle with reading basic patois.
@@Dru529 What he do to me? 😂
Jamaican beef patties are so delicious. The flaky crust and subtly flavored beef are a joy.
The hardest part to making a patty at home is its crust. If the crust isn't super flaky to the point where it's falling all over you, it's wrong. Also, my opinions on the different patty brands are
Juici-great crust
Tastee-Best meat
Mothers-Lovely chicken patty (their fried chicken is good too)
Also if you're in Jamaica you must try...
A PATTY AND COCOBREAD. Even better with a cheese patty. Also chicken patties with cheese are pretty good too!
-Signed, a Jamaican :)
But Golden Krust, though!
Chicken patty with cheese? Wait mi never try that yet. I'm yet to try the jerk chicken patty from tastee. Heard it taste bad. Im not fond of mother's patty, especially the flavour of their filling. I'll eat their sweet chilli chicken anyday though. Is the chicken cheese curry?
@@Izlandprincess1 yea its curry but ignore it and move on. At first i was skeptical but i was surprised it wasnt that bad lol and the jerk patty...you really not missing anything lol
When I try a new Jamaican spot, I judge them by their patties. If they ain't flaky, I dont need to eat anything else there because the trust is gone.
Puerto Rican here but I think Jamaican food is hands down the best in the world. Now I need a patty with coco bread 😩😩😩.
Yes the coco bread 😊😊😊😊
Im getting hungry now. I love Jamaican patties! Thanks for this recipe, Chef 🙏🏽❤️love and respect from the Philippines 🇵🇭
