FIRST Lufthansa AIRBUS 350 LANDING at Düsseldorf - 4K

- All Lufthansa Airbus 350s are based at Munich and that` s why we don` t see the most modern plane of the Lufthansa fleegt at Düsseldorf, Frankfurt or Cologne. This Airbus 350 showed up at Düsseldorf for a christening event. It received the name of a nearby city (my hometown) and left the airport again about three hours later.
Currently Lufthansa operates five Airbus 350s and they were bought as an Airbus 340-600 replacement which is known to be very uneconomic.

Am I realizing only now that A350 is a huge aircraft?
It's about 10% bigger than a 787 by MTOW. 777-300ER is about 25% larger than the A350 by MTOW.

but it sure is not exactly small, also keep in mind this is just a -900 model, so the -1000 will be even larger

The A350 is a beautiful plane but it looks per the youtube videos that it's a plane complicated to land, almost all the time it has at least hard positive instead of soft landings. Thanks for the video BTW.

Awesome video of those A350s! But the sound (tiny weeny sound!! ) does not do justice to your video. You need an ext stereo mic for extra boost to your video! Just like watching a movie with awesome sound effect. Thats what its all about!

I did enjoy both of them already with Qatar airways, the A350 is bigger than the 787, but both of them are fantastic airliners, very spacey, very comfortable and the noise inside the plane is cancelled by at least 50 % in the Dreamliner and 60% in the A350! Both of those aircraft are excellent aircrafts, the best Boeing and Airbus ever build!
Nice to see that Cathay Pacific have got the Rolls-Royce logo on their A350's engines. Why doesn't Lufthansa want people to know their engine choice?

Hi do you know why there was an Air Astana 767 at DUS last week and where did it fly, because teh destination was not available at Flightradar?
Thomas ing Weather diversion,was planned to fly to FRA and then diverted to DUS.I think there were strong rain showers at FRA,but not 100% sure.

yes, he performed a "Low Approach" to say "hi" to the airport. The A350 showed up for a "Christening" event. It was named after a city near Düsseldorf.
Ja, war Showoff. Ein bisschen auf dicke Hose machen ;). Flieger wurde auf den Namen Essen getrauf. Der Oberbürgermeister und die Presse war anwesend. Sollten wohl beeindruckt werden.

Boeing 777 your crown as the long range king is in jeopardy with the threat of the new A350ULR. You have to show the world what we Americans (not politcally speaking) are made of with your new variant (777-X). We can't let the French have superiority over us and force our aviation empire to crumble. I know that's quite over-exaggerated. Before a war breaks out I'm just clarifying this. I don't hate Airbus.
It's still one of (ONE OF) the most popular widebodies today. But, yes I do admit Boeing is lagging. Airbus has certainly stepped up their game with the new A350 which is very pretty. Airbus has now started to develop the NGSST (Next Generation Supersonic Transport). I'll miss the ol' 747 all the same. But we have to move with the times.
Like the neo being a whopping 85 decibels on takeoff versus older aircraft that are around 100 decibels or so. I know how quiet they are. All I heard when I saw Spirit's first neo was a faint whoosh. I could hear a 757 growling and screaming a lot more clearly from the same distance so yes it's extremely quiet.

I cannot give an opinion when it comes to comfort and how good it feels to fly for the pilot, but visually and only through videos, the 787 looks nicer, and also seems more agile to maneuver, and more stable and solid upon landing. The 787 also looks fresher, more modern, and sportier.

The A380 is an absolutely atrocious looking monstrosity. One of the worst looking airplanes I've ever seen. The A350, on the other hand, is beautiful. Much prettier than the 787.
