Only just found this. Wow. Seen skindred 2 times. Probably one of the best live bands in the world
Checkout Westgate under fire
Bought this disc back during my formative years and it still asserts a stranglehold over my being til this day. Heard 'Strike It' on a promo comp and was completely enamored. Dub War are seriously underrated. The news that they have reformed causes me to bristle with elation. Their mixture of Thrash, Hardcore, Ragga, Jazz, Dancehall and Funk remains explosive and iconoclastic to this day
Benji rules!!
I love how there were no rules in the 90s, just an eclectic mash up of different styles
Some fans love Skindred, older fans love Dub War too
I love both
This band kick ass and Benji's voice is bloody amazing. So versatile and tonefull
Just discovered this band, so badass, love it.
Saw them a few times...world class live act

saw them a few times mid 90's, great live, awesome energy
Am I jealous much absolutely lol
This tune is so massively effin badass...
1995,Earache Records production,in da house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Benji and the remaining 3 members of Dub War,were just too cool for musical school!"Pain"(1995)and 1997's,"Wrong Side Of Beautiful",are ska/reggae/hardcore crossover masterpieces.Majorly influenced Bullyrag, another of my fave ska/reggae/metal crossover bands of the 1990's-both of whom are sadly no more....x
Cool to find out about Bullyrag! Another such band was Dial 7. Check it out.
Check Eyesburn also, they rock since 1994, and they blend reggae and heavy music too!
This was before Skindred? Pretty sick
Just seen skindred in cardiff and really tempted to get tickets to this bands reunion in a few months for Bristol 2021. Benji really is a fucking charm of my home city
I saw skindred in Birmingham benji was having a great time backstage
Awesome and catchy song.
Saw them a couple of times 1994/5 At Northampton Roadmender. This song just floated into my head, not heard it for a good few years!
Ladies and Gentlemen: on the drums Phil Laak!
So much music into just one song
STRIKE IT
DUB WAR
I am 99% sure I had this on a cassette. Think it was on a magazine, a demo or something - still remember it! Thank you for this! Spiritual warfare I think was the other song.
Idk why i wanted to listen to some skindred before bed but this popped up. Oh shit! Now I'm smoking 😁
saw em play with Gunshot way back when , my ears are still buzzing
Best of 90's Rapcore
This reminds me of much music Loud here in Canada!
Bro is a gem
Great Track
This is one of my favourite tracks on the Earache, Earplugged 2 album.
Such an underrated band and there Welsh👍
Sorry, but there? Maybe 'they're'?
@Chris thanks for the info
You've been living in a cave. Lol
@@VikiStorm 🤣
They're playing a gig in August 👋
up up up

Crazy university time... Sad that it is only one such a freaking cool and insane song.
0:12 Mario in Da beat!
Thanks for the vid, this is my new discover being another collection here in (general santos city Philippines)👌
was meant to see these live in 1995 at a festival but for some reason they couldn't make it, was well gutted.
On tour now Bristol in December
Seen these guys play in Brisbane [The Zoo] back in the day. Pangea supported them. Great night
Worldclass.
nice
3:09 I cannot take this seriously. It's so goofball. But I love it.
ah yes, their infamous Newport branch.
@@barthollevoetkbr961 I meant the part of the song at that time. lol
Pain is such a great album. What held them back was how the rest of the band didn't really match what Benji offered visually. This band could've been the next Bad Brains
I ised to give this track some high rotation back in the 90's. Still a massive choon
5 fools NOT funking without fear
This song is a reminder of a time when music was cool as fuck. It was called the nineties.
+AntiProUltra
Yes. Yes it was.
Saw 'em supporting the Manics back in the day. Started their slot with an old fashioned air raid siren. No messing about!
The 90s were the worst decade for music in the last hundred years
no

I love dub war. Right now I'm working on trying to come up with some industrial dub. NOT dubstep. Heh. Used to have the album corporate rock Wars that was great.
see it cuz of benji, ty
Back on U.K Tour Dec 2021
Reminds me of a mix between Skindred (Wonder why?) and the Australian ban Nokturnl from the same era.
I really do not...
It's the singer from Skindred, Benji. This was his band before.
