Met Benji the lead singer and got the drumstick at the gig a couple of years ago. His a top bloke. love this new album mixes so many genre's and makes it work. Skindred are awesome.

Skindred have been around since 1998, they were formed after Benji Webe's old band Dub War disbanded.
Both bands come from Wales.
It has that "KoRny" Nu metal edge to it with strong reggae influences and its own vibe....I'm digging it A LOT!!!
Love that they filmed the video in Mumbai, we don't get a lot of Nu-Metal videos filmed there.
I honestly love how he manages to throw reggae sounding vocals into this, pretty damn awesome and I've never heard anything like it. Gonna go listen to a few other songs now.
I was lucky enough to meet these guys way back in 2012. I can tell you now, they're about as Welsh as it's possible to be. Absolutely kick-ass live, seen them 3 times so far and seeing them next week as well.
Its so good that these guys are together after all these years I remember over 10 years ago picking up their first album from a store going of business. Been hooked ever since.
Was lucky enough to catch these guys in Melbourne at Soundwave 2014. Fucking great show. They sure know how to work a crowd, and everyone was completely into it. Definitely a highlight of the day for me.

First saw these guys in a back room of a pub in Winchester (England) to a crowd of about 50-60 people when they released the first album. Needless to say the tinnitus lastest for much of the following week.

I just found out about Skindred a few days ago, and I love the mix of so many different styles. Obviously it makes for songs that just don't hit the mark, but this song is AMAZING. It's almost like bohemian rhapsody in the way it flows through different portions of the song.
I've just discovered them too at download Festival last week! The crowd control was insane, they definitely gained a new fan 🤘😝

Saw these guys supporting Steel Panther, I'd never heard of them but they definitely performed and gave an amazing show. The bass these guys gave live was amazing! Easily on the same level as Steel Panther...

The band Skindred have been together since 1998 they were formed after the the lead singers former band Dub War disbanded, during the mid to late 1990's both groups come from Wales.

this is one of the only bands ive looked up that will ll be at soundwave, that I haven't heard of, that sounds non generic and they actually have their own style and sound.
Saw them live at Newcastle O2 academy and they're brilliant live and I want to see them again. This single is brilliant and if the single is anything to go by the album is going to massively brilliant as well. Turn it up to 11!!!!

Love this song got to meet Benji at a slipknot concert in Cardiff literally watching the gig came out after to by some merchandise and he was there buying a tshirt as well. He said he loves watching live music and was there watching like everyone else.

Love skindred. its nice to hear something that not everyone has done before, its new its unique and it sound bloody fantastic, saw them live few month ago and all I can say is that was the greatest gig ive ever been too.... everyone was bouncing from the moment they went on till 3hours later when they left. even better than seeing maiden or rammstein and we all know how renowned they are for stage shows and sick gigs.

This band I have been following for years, especially when their were ''DUB WAR'' I was brought up with all kind of music, and back in the good old 80's when ska and reggae where in the prime, this band has managed to incorporate all of that into there music, what is unique and no other band has managed to do that to date, except ''' SHATTERMASK''' but sadly I think the band is no more, how sad. OH and by the way I am off to Middlesbough Empire this Sunday the 26th to support SKINDRED once again, ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS TO KEEP WATCHING THIS BAND AND WATCH THEM PROGRESS EVEN BIGGER... Just watched these guys live at knottfest brissy... OMFG!!!! never heard of them before... God damn they slayed it! One of the best sets for sure! They are definitely in my playlist now... Dan is hot af... they all have so much energy on stage... definitely down to see them live again!

I saw these guys live in Brisbane tonight. First time ever hearing their music. Initially wasn't a fan but the style grew on me the longer they played. Their damn amazing performance certainly helped. They were energetic, entertaining, engaging and overall a pleasure to watch live. Honestly I feel like they almost stole the show off the main band playing tonight.

Nu metal, mixing metal with other elements such as Rap, Electronic, Ragae etc, I hear the metal in there mixed with other elements therefore it is Nu metal
This is more like Raggaecore or Raggae Metal. Limp Bizkit, early Linkin Park, Slipknot and co are perfect examples of nu metal.
I say nu metal more, because they use Raggae as well as the electronic and metal. If it was just raggae and metal being mixed, I would agree with you

I dont see why so many people comment negatively. I have an extensive library of music, and I can tell you that this band is incredibly special and unique...that is fact not opinion. My opinion is that I find their music funny and humorous, as well as metal enough that I really enjoy it.
