Massive respect to this band for still making good music after so many years.
A true mark of a REAL band. One that stands the test of time and only becomes stronger for it.
They really have been making awesome music, and while I wasn't listening to them in 98 when they started, I was introduced to the "Babylon" album and from there it was game over I was hooked haha! That was 2002 and it was thanks to MX vs. ATV: Unleashed on PS2 haha. I always learned about Shinedown from that game as well, and thinking about it now that was a killer soundtrack all around.
Seen them at Wacken, had been the first Band (for me) and everyone was exhausted because of the cirmumstances and they made their Job like they were 27 years old ❤❤❤

I saw these guys live at Knotfest Australia 🇦🇺 yesterday! Absolutely addicted to their music now, the lead singer so much fun. He interacted with the crowd and gave us all an awesome time.

I have to say, this is the first time I see the phrase "pre-prepared". Now, I could go on a George Carlin-esque rant. But honestly, I only have positive feeling towards it. If it's a mistake, it's cute. If it's done for emphasis, I think it works. To me, it's just really funny. You made me smile a lot with that.

I saw them live in Glasgow when they were touring with Napalm Death and Volbeat. I was really indifferent to them before the gig but they totally blew me away definitely the best band of the night. Would definitely recommend seeing these guys live.

I was there that night with my stepson. Totally agree. Liked their music but was not a die hard fan until I saw them live. The play a local venue in Belfast this year and I'll be there. Great live act.

Skindred is an interesting enigma. Their location choice is immaculate because it has a lot of interesting signs and colors!! It adds a lot of charm to this video because if you’re like me and analyze everything, there’s always something new to find in the background!
But their actual music is impeccable, the blend of reggae and metal is something I never would have thought I would have been listening to, ever! Fantastic job!! ❤❤

@@blahdelablahtheir influences are in fact reggae and metal, but i saw that they were classified as nu metal (idk if this is 100% true)
@skuidlos7110 Nu metal is a combination of metal and hip hop. Reggae has had some influence on hip hop, but stylistically it's distinct. Rather than looking at what other people are saying, listen to the vocals and ask yourself if it sounds more reminiscent of reggae or hip hop.

Saw them live yesterday at Olympiahalle, lost my mind when I saw them open for Volbeat I was so hyped and got goosebumps. Also was disappointed how the crowd was so asleep and had little to no clue how amazing these guys are. Hope one of em saw me raise my hand when they asked who knows Skindred! All in all I had more fun then I was hoping to have! These guys rock. And if the drummer is reading this, dude you're a god. Was looking at you for 60% of the time! :D absolute legend.
