I never understood the dislike for this theme when it was released. People were saying it's "disco" music but I liked it the moment I heard it. I think it really suits the game at that stage of the game when it's reaching the climax and end, especially when the series was supposed to end with Zero's death in X5.
And here I thought this song couldn't get any better!!! I like that you just added enough metal/rock elements as to maintain the original essence intact. I'm a huge metalhead myself, but I know some tracks aren't meant to be full Metal.
