Street fighter 2 turbo soundtrack is a genuine masterpiece. Every single track really encapsulates the culture of the character it represents. Fantastic job on the ones you’ve done. Dhalsim was always one of my favourites. Would love to see your take on that.
@@1Flyingfist Chung li will always be my number one but Dhalsim does come in a close second. The chord change timings and intervals make it for one of the more interesting pieces of the sound track.

Everything about Vega represents beauty. His country and its language, his stage, his fighting style, himself, and especially his music. These devs went well out of their way to bring the diverse cultures that the fighters come from into the game. SF2 is a legend. Vega and Ken's themes will always be my favorites. Interestingly enough, I also happen to be an American with strong Spanish lineages. The flamenco guitar and dance that inspired Vega's theme hits me hard. This normally takes two guitars, and the fact that this musician was able to play both parts is amazing 👏
As soon as SF 2 CE came out in arcades, Vega became my main. Fortunately my local 7-11 had it so i got lots of practice. I was 13 years old with crowds of people watching me at the arcade. Hearing this took me back to that time which is the best compliment i've got. Great job!

I came back 5 minutes later with my venecian mask, some old Wolverine cosplay claws, a fake rose to grip between my teeth, and an early Akiman picture of Chun Li. I stared the video again from the beginning. Perfect!
for those who asks : he's essentially playing two guitar lines in one. Typically someone plays the bass and another one the lead. He managed to play both at the same time. Insane
Ok. But It’s still music. Whether they ripped it from a musician was not the point of my comment. It was just commentary on how influential the music was to me IMO.

This and the SF2 montage where they use an orchestra to do main theme, character selection, Ryu Stage, Vega stage and Guile stage. With the game on a big projection behind the orchestra 🤌🏿🤌🏿 I listen to that every day now.
