@@RoadtoA indoor shoes are as stiff as outdoor shoes just more breathable(there are many brands make them now). Shimano sandals not stiff and only mtb spd cleats but its a sandals.
Great tips! Covered all the essentials for a more enjoyable indoor cycling experience. I also use Muc-Off Sweat Protect Spray in addition to having a sweat catcher as when they are saturated, some sweat will still find its way into the head set of my bike.
Just got the Zwift Cog and Click. Thought it would be a waste of money but was sooo wrong. So smooth and quiet. The low gears are way lower than my bike’s and let me enjoy the steep roads. Highly recommend.
@@williamcooper9753 If you like the virtual shifting really consider the Zwift Play. The shifting is way more natural and there are the other benefits.
I also own a Cardio 54 and it is great but when it came to buying a second fan I did actually go for the Vacmaster Airmover which is effectively the Cardio 54 without the remote. I much prefer the Airmover to the Cardio 54 for the following reasons: 1. It is cheaper 2. You get a 5 year warranty rather than a 2 year warranty (it is designed for industrial applications) 3. The remote is not sweat proof. I destroyed my first remote within a few months and had to find a way to sweat proof the next one I got on warranty. I generally put the fan on setting two which is enough for almost all situations I've been in ... I'm not really missing the remote.
Excellent video Sir, a great list of very valuable items to all of us "Zwifters".! Regarding the Varia Radar, I've had one since 2021 and honestly would NEVER leave home on the bike without it. It's literally an extra pair of well-focused eyes continually looking behind me. Cheers and Happy Holidays to Everyone!
Nice video. 100% agree Garmin varia almost as much of a game changer as a power meter. You still do a life saver check, but crossing lanes with Varia gives you the general timing to cross pre look behind. Zwift Play as you say is amazing, helps me hang onto the wheel when I'm on my last legs in the corners
My gift suggestion is a very modest one. What do you give the Zwifter that has got it all already? A means to support your cycling training by other means: Yes, running! Get a Wahoo Kickr Run and start running on Zwift ... there are loads more badges to collect that you didn't even know you wanted! I did say it was a modest ask, didn't I ;)
What is the best Zwift related gift you gave received? And what would you like to receive this year? Best idea will be pinned to serve as inspiration to others!
Nice list. One more idea - light indoor shoes or shimano sandals.
@@Twai oooh! i wasn't even aware they make those! Are they stiff enough to generate power?

I'd say Garmin Varia is the most important piece of equipment to whoever rides outside.
Absolutely love Zwift Play! Just bought it on BF sale and never thought I needed it.
@@ninasmtblife It is fun isn't it?
Dang I wish I got them in the BF sale 50% off too 😭😭

Great Vid and spot on recommendations. Thanks for the great work.
