Interval blocks are also more efficient than normal blocks as they earn 12 XP/min vs. The normal block's 10XP/min. They take longer to set up on a workout but if you really want to game the system it's worth it. My best method for XP grinding is free riding to the base of the Alpe, doing interval blocks up, switching to a TT bike at the top, and coasting down.

Great video! I always wondered if i could do a workout on the tour. I was always afraid to try because I didn’t want to risk messing up a route completion. Also, very interesting about the pace partner XP. I’ll have to do that more often. Doing workouts while riding seems to be a major factor when increasing XP.
    Many Thanks!🙏🏽

Thanks for the compliment. Pace partner is a subtle, yet very beneficial one in the long run!

Re: TDZ, TW etc: There are often multiple routes/distances per week. Once you complete a particular route/distance, the next time you ride it you don't get the double XP points. Therefore, ride the longest (or whatever ride you choose) to completion to get it ticked off. Then, on the other rides, don't finish them. That way you can ride them multiple times and get double XP every time.

Yep, tdz also doesn’t have double xp btw

Good tips, although some of those shouldn't be used in conjunction with eachother (such as TT bike and Pace Partner) as it negates the benefit (since TT bike gives no draft benefit)

Oh man, I didn't even do your 7th tip last year even tho I watched the video... Watopia does sound kinda OP. Good idea, and I'll make sure to do it this time!

    I don’t understand the TT bike tip…

If you ride using a TT bike, whenever you go through an arch instead of a power up, you get a mini plus which grants you 10 xp.

Right kilometres, instead of miles, you will get more points

No longer the case. Zwift has changed it so that it is balanced

You forgot about rides in kilometers vs. miles. If you do the math, you will earn more XP per total distance by riding in kilometers.

Zwift changed this recently. It’s now balanced :)

Zwift corrected this so that one mile is 32 XP not 30.

One very marginal gain I use is the coffee stop option when using pace partners after my ride
