The important question is: did the resin leak happen despite the screen protector, or did you forget to install the screen protector? I thought the whole point of the screen protector was to keep resin from getting into the printer.

I had the Anycubic Mono X2 for about 2 months now, it's a really solid machine, I even made a print comparison to my 40 Micron M3 Photon on a head scale miniature 2CM height and the result was not much of a big difference, probably I'll purchase another one , it combines between size and quality

FYI You can buy replacement hand-bolts from bunnings (if you're in oz). Mono X build-plate screw is M8 20mm (stock is 12mm but it still fits) and M6 40mm for the vat. I would presume these would fit the X2 as well.

What settings do you have set for this printer? Are you using the settings that anycubic slicing software gives you from factory?

I hate the plastic base! It fell apart after a couple on months!

X2 or M3? It appears that the M3 has better contrast. Is it that much better to sacrifice the size?

      X2 IMO

I have both , and i did a comparison test of a small head scale 2 CM height , it's not a real difference especially if you changed the Mono X2 layer height to 0.03 - you won't see a difference with your bare eyes

Not surprised, they are discontinuing that model. As soon as they went to a plastic base, they lost me! I had to one had a broken screen, and the other the case broke!

Sounds like we should avoid buying Anycubic products altogether due their extreme cheap-assery, to coin an apropo term.
