Just Awesome ! I was looking for something like that and I was delivered this video. Thanks for that! I wish Power BI could make it more flexible by making a dropdown menu. That should do the all the trick and skip the bookmark stuff. However, that was amazing tutorial.
I justo saw your LinkedIn profile a few moments ago, and mate, ¡what an amazing work! Absolutely stunning, you should make more content , greetings from Mexico new sub 🙌🏼

i'm assuming the different pages are duplicates with filters applied on them to show different data to achieve this right? would having so many pages increase the loading time when refreshing the data?
Fantastic video. Given that all the navigation menus use the same formatting, is there a way in PowerBI to bulk edit the format, much like with CSS in Webdesign?
Thanks Nick, but could you please show us: 1. How to sync the set of bookmark to different pages? 2. How to hide the dropdown menu when jumping to another page and then jump back? I appreciate you showing the solutions very much.
Amazing tutorial, but I´m struggling on navigation through pages once when I move back to the previous page the navigator page drop down is visible......I don´t know how to reset to the default state or even if it´s possible....
Hi great info! but I can't use the same navigation in the other pages, It is redirecting me to the initial page. Can you please guide me how can I use the same navigation in all the different pages
Yup just checked the comment to see if I was the only one. A workaround is to create another set of bookmarks for each page I guess but it's really time consuming and not dynamic at all, Adding just 1 page is a pain...
I have this working great on my first page. I then copy and pasted it to my next page and it either takes me back to my first page to open the list, OR does the functionality of opening the list on the first page without taking me there, but not on the page I am on (difference is toggling 'Current Page' on the bookmark). How do you copy the correct functionality across all of your pages? I must be missing something
Nice job!! I have a question regarding interactivity. I assume you copy the navigation across all/most of your report pages, how do you deal with the report page size button to allow interactivity like cross filtering or drill actions?
Perfect, it works perfectly ! but when going back to my first page, the navigation menu is open, how can i hide it automatically (in my first page) after clicking and going to another page my chief ?
This is awesome. However, you made very many assumptions, for example how did you add the bookmarks? It would be very easy to follow if you started from scratch and included all the steps.
I rarely comment, but I need to now. Bravo, sir! This saved me a ton of time. Thank you for your contribution!
U have no idea how long I've been looking this!!! Thank you so much I subbed
Very nice! Can you make a video showing the different pages on your reports and the graphs/tables you used? Looks amazing

Great video! Explained very well and instructions are clear. Will use this in an upcoming report and looking forward to more videos. Great job Nick

Very sophisticated but intuitive. Subbed & bookmarked 👍
Very interesting and useful. Thank you Nicholas
This is fantastic. More please.
thank you for sharing, it should be the release video for this feature on the power bi update !
Nice trick. thank you!
Wow. Loved it. Keep upload more videos.
Thank you! This is just what I need. 😊 You gained 1 new subs.
Great video. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the amazing content!
Great Work! Thanks for Sharing!
Great information, Thanks. It's difficult to see details in the video.
Very clean looking. Subscribed
Great content ¡¡¡ Thansk for sharing :)
Very demure. Very mindful ✨
Useful! Thanks Nicholas 😊
Amazing and insightful, Thanks. Can you please also share the video of Navigation and Pop-Out Menus.
i'm assuming the different pages are duplicates with filters applied on them to show different data to achieve this right? would having so many pages increase the loading time when refreshing the data?
so elegant
thanks
Great solution! How do you ensure that the dropdown is closed when you go back to the original page?
That would be my question as well, as when you go to next page and back the dropdown is still there.
You read my mind with that question.
Only one way to open any page , it's bookmark.
You will save the page as a bookmark without any dropped menu.
Fantastic video. Given that all the navigation menus use the same formatting, is there a way in PowerBI to bulk edit the format, much like with CSS in Webdesign?
Would have helped if you could have shown us step by step from the beginning
This good but will require lot of bookmarking…considering there will be lot of pages. Not sure how scalable this approach is.
Not scalable and not worth the effort.
@@RohitChandra At least for now, I have not found better solutions than using lots of bookmarks.
Yes, plenty of bookmarks for page navigation, not worth.
Thanks Nick, but could you please show us:
1. How to sync the set of bookmark to different pages?
2. How to hide the dropdown menu when jumping to another page and then jump back?
I appreciate you showing the solutions very much.
I have the same question. On one page is easy I would like to see in other pages
Very helpfull! If you nevermind, can you share the template of BI please?
Awesome.
It's nice but I hate the maintenance.
Wont this navigation affect the performance? My report seems to be laggy
Consider using a zoom while recording, in such a big resolution it is hard to see what are you selecting.
Yes, thank you - I'm still new to this and video editing isn't my strong point. I will work on it :)
@ I think most of them use zoomit.
How about the rest of the information on your beautiful header?
Awesome

I have the same question, the video is incomplete
one downside is when page nav is selected it does not close it bring into the new page leaving the navigation open, is there something i missed?
Hi great info! but I can't use the same navigation in the other pages, It is redirecting me to the initial page. Can you please guide me how can I use the same navigation in all the different pages
same problem

@@SYLDE-c3v same issue. I think we need to create a set of bookmark for each page on my case 30 what's too much

The video did not show this. I created a set of bookmarks for each page. Bookmark is page-specific. It is hard to sync cross-pages.
Nice job!! I have a question regarding interactivity. I assume you copy the navigation across all/most of your report pages, how do you deal with the report page size button to allow interactivity like cross filtering or drill actions?
That button only shows when a page nav drop down is open. In 'normal' state that page sized button is hidden.
Great

That is the question for me.

This is awesome. However, you made very many assumptions, for example how did you add the bookmarks? It would be very easy to follow if you started from scratch and included all the steps.
I disagree. I think he showed how the bookmarks were set up perfectly well.
Clever but not scalable 😢
Thx. Very nice
Awesome
