same here guys, I get the same emotional feeling with just the guitar as I do on this part of the song. To me that means every note is exactly what it needs to be to match the music hes playing to. I wish I saw them more than once time.
Used to be a program called Jammit that sold backings for different instruments, they had a few DT albums (Scenes, Octavarium, Images, FII), along with many other bands. Sadly they were a bad company and no longer exist but the backings and isolated tracks are still out there.
Which parts of this is done with his Ibanez and which with the EbMM prototype? I know he uses the unreleased Piezo Ibanez for Home but his solo tone sounds warmer. The beginning of Through Her Eyes sounds like his Ibanez

Scenes was recorded with the Ibanez. He used the prototype on the tour. But he did use the Ibanez for some of the first shows.
I cant like the vid cause its on 69 likes..
Of this entire album, the only real solo is The Spirit Carries On, the first and second. All other soils are ridiculous, a bunch of straw.
the solo for home is significantly better than the spirit carries on, half the solos on here are just as good
