Thanks for doing this video. I'm taking an American History class in Arizona and love to use RUclips to help explain things my text doesn't get into. This was an amazing explanation!
Definitely using the knowledge you taught me here on a paper about the American frontier and westward expansion for university; thanks! awesome teaching!
really helpful video. Curently studying American culture and literature in the Aristotle Univeristy from Greece and this video helped to understand the American frontier in depth.
I must be honest i saw the video and I didnt think it would help, but boy was I wrong, thank you now I do understand it will help me on my American Studies. Cheers
Wow, Thank you so much for this video. I'm a sophomore in High School writing a thesis paper using this text. This video is so helpful and I greatly appreciate it!
Absolutely not. Turner reckoned so in his argument, however. That is one of his errors which I think (though it has been ages since I watched this video I made) I point out.
I think there is some truth to this thesis tho some problems ofc since natives were already living out west. It makes sense though. For example european vonservatives care about established church and monarchy while american ones care about consitutionalism.
Best U.S. History professor at HCC ever!!
This is by far, the most informative and entertaining video explaining Turner's Thesis. Very well elaborated! Thank you. - from California

LOL. Was it really a frontier of free untapped unclaimed or uninhibited land?
Absolutely not. Turner reckoned so in his argument, however. That is one of his errors which I think (though it has been ages since I watched this video I made) I point out.

Good perspective by stepping back to the 1600's colonization.
