    He was totally lack lustre and devoid of excitement and energy. His dad in his 70s was still electric and hugely energetic.

      I don't think the son was trying to BE his father... he happens to resemble him and sound like him...

      Frank Jr was a very good singer. Best work was in the 1970s. Unfortunately, he didn't inherit his fathers pipes. Nancy Jr did though. Look at them: Frankie looks like his Mom and Nancy looks like Frank.
