Not gonna lie, this is one of the more interesting mechanics that I've seen! If you're from Europe or UK and you want your LGS to host Alpha Clash locals, send us your LGS info over to: contact@yourmove.cards Facebook group: facebook.com/groups/425553236834167
No, Lorcana has its own channel because it is so remote from the types of games that our core audience enjoys (read: very simple game). AC is similar to Masters in strategy so it fits here better :) We're slowly moving in a multi-game platform direction for 2025, AC and the return of SWU are the first steps in this process. We'll still be mainly Masters dedicated channel ofc :)
Portal play is something that until you experience it in high level play, one might not see how it's fun. I was at regional for this game and for the whole first 5 turns we were both trying to win control of the portal with effects and mechanics, win control over the clashgrounds, and win board all at the same time. You really have to optimize play and deckbuilding while optimizing resource management. Things like the portal make it so there are other avenues to try to "win" at, and Lord Krung is a great example of how him controlling the portal just slows and controls the game against 95% of decks.

Out of curiosity, will there be a dedicated AC channel for this content? Similar to the Lorcana one?

It's gonna take time but ppl will start realize alpha clash is something special. Not every game needs to be tied to an ip.
The game is awesome, I hope that more players pick it up :D
@TheLookoutDBS I think they will, they just need big creators as yall to keep pushing it.
Is this a special thing for this season or it will be always in the game
It will always be in the game :)

Exactly! I love the complexed layer of strategy which comes with the portal! :D
