I’m 20 and didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life. I always admired military guys but wasn’t sure if I wanted to actually commit to it. You and a handful of other guys have inspired me to be great. I remember a specific moment on a video of yours I watched some time ago. You were talking about what you kept in your truck and you were showing some tools and things and explained that you had them invade you needed to get someone out of the deep woods or help someone in a terrible situation along those lines. That moment you made me realize how much more I could be doing to prepare myself to be my best and actually be able to help someone in a bad situation. I started imagining scenarios of me having to run or carry someone and I couldn’t because I didn’t train my body enough. I started thinking about what if a family member of mine or a random person was drowning or choking and I didn’t know how to save them. You also mentioned about how if there was a school shooting and your child was inside that you are going in to save them. All these thoughts went through my head of how incomplete I was. Now I want to be and Ranger and a Green Beret. Training to go in at most 2 years from now. Thanks a lot I like your videos.

Okay Mr. Mac, I took a force-on-force fundamentals class today and I definitely use your hands up step to the left technique. Worked well. Whole time I'm at the class I'm looking over in the woods and going there's a Redheaded Woodpecker, a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, there's a Bluebird....etc. So cool your love of birds and nature mirrors my own.

He died at 74 in 2002. I hope I don't take after my dad.

Now it's just....MEH!💥💯%...Picking up sticks in the yard today saw a pileated woodpecker, juncos and a couple of robin's duking it out over nesting in the front yard....
Mr. Pat, how did they diagnose that disease? Finishing up 31 years TIS across the Marine Corps and Air Force and my lower chassis took a shit in 2017 (3 knee surgeries and a replacement, 2 ankle surgeries and a fusion, lower disk gone). Just about done with the Medboard process and Medical Retirement.
Good luck to you. Sadly the body often fails us. Hope you can enjoy your retirement. You earned it.
