Nice tribute to Sonny G....Love to see Dennis perform his best friends tune......BTW, I have never seen him do it before.....Thanks Dennis!...Get Well Sonny!
I met him in 1968 when I worked for Capital Records doing PR. We met on the Where the Action Is summer tour. Very nice guy. Capital had signed them a few years earlier. He loved performing and was a natural talent. I wish the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame honored him in some way. Two BIG hits, completely different genres, great rock n roll / crooner voice.
I grew up In Cleveland and knew Sonny. Tommy Baker is on trumpet at the end hitting those high notes. Tommy did all the horn arrangements which were added after the main song was recorded.
Glad Sonny's kids joined in on this with Dennis. He probably did feel the love back in his room at Club Med. And the apple SURE didn't fall from the tree!
@@rmelin13231 U R right , Roger.. He is RIP .. Especially knowing we are here into his music as Dennis & others are pounding out his songs .. Thanks , Dennis..
I’m still listening to his Precious and Few my favorite. RIP Sonny
And the follow up "Life and Breath". Both beautiful songs from my 15th year (1972)...
I can see why many oldies/classic hits/classic rock bands woukd do this song in concert.
It always gets people up and dancing!
that's cool. love that song and Sonny. he was a great singer and I will always listen to his music. thanks..... RIP Sonny Geraci
"Time Won't Let Me" and "Gloria" are the greatest "Garage Band" songs of all time.
And "Little Girl" by the Syndicate of Sound (1966).
Thank You so much for sharing concert guys 🎸🎵🎶Mr.sonny.🙏 Ever 😔
Nice to see he's still in good shape and can dance. Sounds great too
Sounds Good.. R.I.P. Sonny

missing that high shrill trumpet note that defined this wonderful tune......
Nice lead guitar riff. Just like the record ! Great job.
Wow. Just wow.
A timeless song I tell you!
Portland Oregon in 60s all garage bands were playing this Great Rock in North East Portland .
Nicely done guys. Great song.
Excelente interpretación...saludos desde México
pleasant surprise. My band is learning this right now and I was researching the song. Great cover!
Great song !
Bri's dance gives me a smile.
LOVE IT< LOVE IT!! Thank you Lisa for sharing!!!!! Gave me goose bumps watching them do this in Sreetsboro!!!!
Nice work - most 'cover' groups stay away from songs with horns.. handled well .. pretty girl on the tambourine, too!
Great song, from my High School days !!
Well done team
Not too shabby.
So those are sonny's kids :) glad to hear he has family. There isn't any info on him or his family/marriages online
High five!

I believe those are sonny kids as a distance relative of his i was told by marriage through our family his last wife.
Did Sonny Pass away and if so how long after this?
Yes, Sonny passed in Feb. 2017. A very sad day, he was the best, the classiest, and I wish his family the best.

Bass player needs to learn the bass line.
Just in case you missed it..... yea she`s a White girl !
The guitar guy keeps sneaking what he thinks are “subtle” glances at the girl, and his eyes are not at her eye level.
Thats his sister....
i'm
fire the bass player for NOT knowing the tune
far too long to the performance of his father.
Why is the girl in the red pants up there? Was she asked or did she just tk it upon her drunk self to jump onstage?
I agree, she needs to be in Cyndi Lauper video
That's Sonny Geraci's daughter. Bri Geraci.
That girl is getting it👍👍👍👍😁
