Thank you, I do love this lens. I think it is a great addition to anyone’s camera bag. The only downside realistically is the price but you do get a lot for your money. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did reviewing it 😊
@@PhotoFeaver If you can get this lens for GBP 465, would you still recommend this lens in view of the latest development in Canon lens lineup? (For Mirrorless)
6:30 You used steadycam didn't you? Or you used Canon R5/R6 Camera with built in IS. This is why there is not much of shaking. I have 24-70mm f/4 IS along with Canon 5d Mark IV and even when I used monopod added to lens image Stabilizer my footage was quiet shaking.
Hello, did u try with R5 but with video? I have sigma 35 mm f1,4 art and when ı use it in video with f1,4 or 2 etc in low lights , A large ring-shaped blackout appears in the video :/ all the time It is necessary to turn off all settings for RF lenses :/ ı wonder is it like that with the canon own lenses too:(
The 24 mm 2.8 stm I have no idea Canon called it 28 because the reality it is almost 40 mm I fact I made a test between the 24 mm f2.8 on 7d MKii and the 40mm f2.8 stm on the 5d mkiii and the results looks identical the are almost the same lens just on fir fullframe and the other is for apsc jut call is 40 mm Apsc
That used price for the L glass is less than both new in 2023. I’m loving this mirrorless movement. I can afford the nice L glass now.
Great and honest review, thanks for the video.
Picking up the canon because that red ring and weathersealing 😂.

You should probably change the titel to include that you are talking about the second version (II) and not the first one.
Was this 24mm 1.4L used on a mirrorless camera? Also can you review the Canon 14mm 2.8L II?

Would this lens work well for real estate (indoor photos), night city scapes, astro photography, and landscapes? Thanks!
hey, why on 7:02-7:09 the guy's head is jumping from the frame to frame?
Excellent review !
You should add the version II to the title.
I didn't see the mk 2 on the lens

Simga lens has a loud focus
This lens is sharp but not great for video。
Why not?
@@TheDavveponken focus motor is noisy.
@@four-kings Aha. Is the upgrade (II) better?
@@TheDavveponken I brought rf24mm f 1.8,smaller and has image stabilization.
