The introduction is one of the greatest things ever written/recorded ... the entire song is a work of astounding genius but the intro always hits me in the sweet spot ...
What a voice ! Love his confidence to come out as quite casually dressed but still earns respect. Hat’s off to George Martin and the late Mister Lennon a genius indeed
Brilliant, just brilliant! Somehow I think that Remi Rudner sang this song with precisely the harrowing tone and biting expression that John Lennon intended.
THis song came out in 1967 when I was 13 years old. It was the first time I heard the sacred words "Hare Krishna" I looked this up in the ENcyclopedia and it escribed that Krishna was the God of Love , the GOo of the Forest. I soon took up the chanting of the Hare Krishna mantra seriously and experienced so much joy and freedom from materialism, that I becamse a monk in that tradition 49 yeaers ago. Thank you for introducing me to Krishna, John. It's the best thing you ever did.
A masterpiece...Such a song must have been that time very far from George Martin´s musical education and music style, but he seems here to appreciate it, and enjoy it😄
What a shame that they didn’t cut to the lead singer during the time that he was taking applause. That performance was dominated by him and he deserved heaps and heaps of praise!
This tells you who 5th Beatle was & deserved to be credited & on copyright of many Beatles songs of the grandiose variety or just a few strings like Eleanor Rigby. Funny Rigby, always in my head, feels like John & George are playing such is the cleverness of the George Martin's score. The Beatles got such luck with him & Abbey Road & the engineers.
@@ajackson5955 they had such fortuitous happenings that are easily put: JP&G meeting up, Epstein, Ringo, EMI-Parlophone, Abbey Road, G.Martin & Engineers. Take any one out & the trajectory changes big time. Oh forgot, a helluva lot of talent. The rest is history..
This is monumental video. Geroge is a secret admirer of John. He loves this insane pure genius. Paull and George Martin were in the same direction and share similar talent. So, it si understood that Martin was more interested in John 's work.
I have to say its great to hear that songs like Walrus can be performed live and still work just as well as the studio version. It's a wonderful nonsense song with an acidic yet humorous twist to it. It remains the perfect antidote to most popular music, and is John Lennon at his self deprecatory best. He obviously had a lot of fun with that one and George Martin came up trumps with the arrangement. I sing it at my piano when I need to let off steam 😂
Before I new about George Martin's work with the Beatles, I actually thought that songs like "I am the walrus", "tomorrow never knows" etc. with included weird yet incredible stuff had much to do with LSD... It's incredible how a musician with education in classical music has created such incredible pieces with lads from a very different background in several levels who couldn't read a music sheet. The Beatles were a miracle.
The vocalist….. holy cow!!!! When he sang that first, extended, “I’m crying…” and opened his mouth like a snake my heart doubled its tempo! What an exciting rendition!!!!
I love this song and every song recorded by the Beatles (including George Martin). Fantastic job by Hemi. For fun, listen to the version Jim Carrey performed. But at the core, the genius of the Beatles is other worldly. 🙏
I don't whistle, but I actually sing "I am the Walrus" for a whole day :-) What an incredible piece by the Beatles, and when I say "the Beatles" I include George Martin. The orchestra and choir and wonderful, and Hemi Rudner... wow who would have guessed he would make it so well.
This song is just thousand years advance, written from the 60's. Thank you John!
Tavistock ;)
and G. Martin - John would never arrange and produce it on his own.
You are absolutely right
The introduction is one of the greatest things ever written/recorded ... the entire song is a work of astounding genius but the intro always hits me in the sweet spot ...
Sir George was a musical genius, and this singer is awesome!
What a voice ! Love his confidence to come out as quite casually dressed but still earns respect. Hat’s off to George Martin and the late Mister Lennon a genius indeed
This brother UNDERSTOOD the assignment.
The sound! The arrangements!!! Sir George Martin!!!!!
Playing a song of a band from Liverpool while wearing Manchester United shirt...
Brilliant, just brilliant! Somehow I think that Remi Rudner sang this song with precisely the harrowing tone and biting expression that John Lennon intended.
rock on George martin rock on we miss you George martin you are my favorite fifth Beatle in the whole rock and roll world
one of my favourite Beatle songs.. never get tired of it.
Mine too. My daughter made a tattoo on her shoulder: "Semolina Pilchard climbing up the Eiffel Tower..." and further on the whole last verse 😊
The singer is incredible !!
The masterpiece of Sir George Martin
Wow I wasn't expecting him to sing it so well, he smashed it! Fair play Hemi 👌
Yes he did❣️ and he knew it…clearly he was having his fun and lead the entire orchestra, conductor included. 💫💖💫
Hemi is Great!
Absolutely cracking version Hemi, try a few more unusual song
Thaank you Hemi and george martin.Genius
A brilliant performance, Sir George Martin is surely a wizard with a great score.
Lyrics are absolute genius what a fantastic song sang brilliantly
Thanks for sharing it ❤ Incredible masterpiece from John "with a little help from" his friends, especially from George Martin ❤
The Beatles had two Georges! Brilliant rendition!

I LOVE THIS!!! Sir George Martin and Wow Hemi Rudner.
Great great song and score by Lennon and Martin!
I found this to be truly amazing....WOW 😳
This singer is a freakin psychopath!!!! HAHAHAHAA I absolutely love it!!! Great production too
He sang similar to Jim Carrey:

I’ve said it before (and I’ll say it again) without George Martin the Beatles wouldn’t have been half as good.
And I've said this before. George Martin would be nothing without The Beatles. It was a collaborative effort.
this guy captured the manic spirit! Boy, you've been a naughty girl you let your knickers down.
For some reason I just love Lennon’s voice although this guy’s voice is a fresh and different.😉
Have you checked Jim Carrey's?
A masterpiece...Such a song must have been that time very far from George Martin´s musical education and music style, but he seems here to appreciate it, and enjoy it😄
He created a new style with raw geniuses who couldn't read notes. Amazing.
Not really far from his experience, I would say. He had worked in similar territory.
What a shame that they didn’t cut to the lead singer during the time that he was taking applause. That performance was dominated by him and he deserved heaps and heaps of praise!
Who the hell is this guy??? Sounds great
This tells you who 5th Beatle was & deserved to be credited & on copyright of many Beatles songs of the grandiose variety or just a few strings like Eleanor Rigby. They really wouldn’t have been The Beatles we know and love without him. I just love his demeanor too. Just a real pro all the time.

Don't agree Moti. This man's performance is menacing, overdone, even slightly mad. I much prefer John Lennon's.
I like his performance a lot.
But he's no John Lennon.
GREAT JOB, well done !!!

Loved it😅
Only in the great brain of John could create this music...
i could be listening to this all day long.
I’m finding I need a Hemi /walrus fix daily.
APOTEÓSICO, GENIAL.. CHINGONOMÉTRICO!!!!
Bravissimi!!
Fantastic!
Amazing how the choir can't memorize the words of this song....they all hold cards with them lol
Oh! We love this song so much! Best thing about junior high school! Goo Goo Ga Joob!!
George put finishing touches to this brilliant masterpiece! Awesome!
amazing! well done.
THANK YOU Sir George Martin !
Amazing
Sir george martin said it was the best he has heard sin e lennon's
this shit is fuckintastic !! ha... love George ,Orchestra ,and the 4 Boys...
George Martin made it all possible!
I feel the absolute chaos presented in the singing really suited the nonsensical lyrics of the song. Bravo!
Two George’s in the Beatles for sure
hemi is great, as always
Nice rendition... Hemi kinda scares me though :P
If man gives us nothing more than music.that is enough😊
When they chanted ,Beatles for ever, man , the weren't kidding!!!!
Sencillamente genial...gracias!!
Absolument génial !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love this, it's fun.
An unbelievable masterpiece
Majestic, simply George Martin ❤
stunning thank you
Love his interpretation
Hate this interpretation. Mad, manic, 'wild man' .. like he crawled out of the jungle.
Wowww what a job!
Wonderful.

This was really good.
Rest in peace, Sir George.
I don't whistle, but I actually sing "I am the Walrus" for a whole day :-)
What an incredible piece by the Beatles, and when I say "the Beatles" I include George Martin.
The orchestra and choir and wonderful, and Hemi Rudner... wow who would have guessed he would make it so well.
Fantástico
Good job ...
wonderful George Martin Fab
How great they are... The Beatles!!!

Hemi makes crazy faces but he was really great!!!
wow ....that was awesome...the singer is a bit psychotic looking though...great..!
Im Im crying wowowowwee WOW
Definitely the fifth Beatle was Sir George Martin!
Simplemente genial
I'm not crazy about this guy's voice, but you can't say that he didn't put a hell of an effort into it!
Hate this interpretation. Mad, manic, 'wild man' .. like he crawled out of the jungle.
גאון
When drug addled ideas slam up hard against the erudite reality of George Martin. Such a memorable bit of musical fun.
The resemblance to Jim Carrey is there and its funny because he also sang this song as well
Perfect
אכן
awesome
