Maashallah ahkee, I have known you for over 10years now and have grown to not only love you but admire and respect you as time goes on. I TOTALLY agree with you regarding the position with your family, if you think about it we only know what we know about the prophets wives, -their names, intimate relationship, jokes, ups and downs- due to the transparency that they displayed. So I highly commend you and support you big bro. Towards the end of this video you guys relationship reminded me of the hadeeth when one of the prophet wives told him she wishes she could take his pain and the prophet attested to her sincerity in her statement. May Allah continue to bless you both and grant you many years together in this life as well as the next
About the topic regarding your wife: I love your take on it bro. May allah reward you immensely. I love how positive you and your wife both are. I find her so inspiring, so many brothers want to give their 2 cents on every topic, especially about other men's wives.
To be honest they wish they could change the way they live because they also want to evolve and move forward but they are scared of scrutiny from other men who will shun them and speak ill of them. So please don't be shocked because they are just trapped living in a way that is more pleasing to others then themselves. I know this is not the case for everyone, so please no one get at me, it's just an observation I've made over the years.

But as a sister I was quite surprised myself about how your wife was appearing more in your videos, and covered less, and giggling sometimes. It is well known that women shouldn't giggle in front of non-mahram men, they shouldn't even soften their voices in from of them so how about giggling!
I know you say you want to honour her, but showing her on youtube is not honouring her, but the opposite in my opinion. You can honour her by praising her on RUclips and other means, but not doing that which removes her modesty and may tempt men. If women are truly cherished they should be protected from non-mahram men and covered, as a precious pearl.
As a student from Medina I'm sure you don't need reminding of the verses and ahadith about women staying behind a hijab and not showing their beauty or softening their voice etc.
Sorry for the lateness of this comment, I meant to post it ages ago, when I first saw the video, but forgot. But I feel giving you advice is obligatory upon me, and we should encourage each other upon good and advise each other, I hope my reminder can be of benefit.

I really don’t appreciate your comment as your opinion about my wife with all due respect is irrelevant. My wife doesn’t go around ‘giggling’ in front of men for your information not trying to soften her voice. She speaks how she speaks and sending such a message with such a tone in public leaves a lot to be desired. You’re under no obligation to watch the content and I’m sure there are many people out there who appreciate hearing her perspective on living with a cancer patient. I find it quite alarming how you manage to be so critical on so many aspects of my wife’s life. I’m sure if someone were to put your life, decisions and conduct under a microscope then perhaps a lot could be said too. Perhaps, it would have been better for you to find a more private way to reach out to myself and/or Umm Maryam and share your ‘opinion’. I also have an opinion about your approach and I feel it’s unwarranted and out of line. I’ve never once claimed that ‘showing her’ on RUclips is honouring her. You’ve clearly misunderstood the whole purpose of me giving my wife her voice. I advise you, in moving forward if you wish you ‘advise’ something to think long and hard about your tone, approach and the words you use. It comes across as belittling and most probably in a way other than you initially intended.
