What a beautiful ad! We love to travel in our own country but pre-pandemic time it's more affordable to travel to Taiwan than to Palawan. Airfares and hotel accommodations here are so expensive! Your rates are for foreigners only.... what about us..... the domestic tourist? Hope things will change this post pandemic era...

However, I'm realistic, it won't be anytime soon. One of the most overacting countries regarding covid, nobody will come when you need quarantine for 10 days. In Europe many countries lift covid rules, take this an example..

I hope DOT or IATF remove the requirement of getting a 48-hr RT-PCR test prior to arrival in PH. It makes more the return to the Philippines more expensive. Super dami Ng cancellation because of that requirement.

Unfortunately there are currently only four classifications of travelers in the Philippines and "Tourist" has yet to be defined.
OFW, ROF, LSI and APOR, are the only four classifications. 10 days of quarantine on arrival and up to another 14 days of quarantine per destination, up to 24 days in total forced isolation before your can "enjoy" the Philippines. Unfortunately the DOH (department of health) and the DOT (Department of tourism) can't agree on what tourism is or what it looks like.

I believe unless you're a Filipino or married to one tourism will be closed for non citizens Indefinitely or for a very long time 5-10 years at lest if not longer . We could be looking at a 20 year ban On all countries going to the Philippines

Don't just focus on ads to get visitors, you should maintain the quality of the resorts and tourist spots, there's a video I've seen that one lagoon has been changing in color from blue to brownish, you should make a solution for cleaning up the contaminated water because we know that some people are wicked hardheaded who are peeing on the water even they're grown up and sane, the contaminated must be rehabilitated 😕

Ah, maybe instead of spending time and money promotional material, you can suggest or at least plan out a specific entry plan for tourists. Like, you know - most of the other SE Asian countries are preparing. How dificult is it to vaccinate 95% of Siargao, Panglao or Boracay and put in place system for international arrivals, testing, and quarantine? I have not seen my father in over 18 months. He is diabetic, over 70 and recently suffered a bilateral pneumonia. I would like to visit him before he passes..thanks.
