The world is going to need the US to be some kind of touchstone for any hope of freedom, in a world with no privacy.

Ian, when has US ever not been about America first? Do you really think US behavior has always been magnanimity for magnanimity sake, with no strings attached? Do you really think US led global order and rules were set up for the love and benefit of others and never for America first? Is Trump really that original? Please

Thank you for this. Great content! While I acknowledge the expertise of the four guests and while I accept the validity of their opinions, it was a bit of a love-in echo chamber. I think that it would be interesting to hear other voices that may see global risks differently, such as Niall Ferguson, HR McMaster, and Victor Davis Hansen.

I watch your channel but the left over Trump hate is tiring. Your side has been extremely rude and hateful to us, while you were stomping out hate speech.

Strategic contraction is inevitable, no choice because of punching too much above its weight.

The US is going to lose a lot of trade with Europe, Canada, Mexico and their allies over the next four years. And the US will grow increasingly internally unstable. Animosity between the different US political tribes is at its highest since 1861. And you mentioned the G-0 winds, the vacuum of leadership in the world. Well the growing friction from American internal divisions means that no problems can be solved. Our divisions are termites eating at the foundations of our nation. And we will not be able to rise to any challenge.
